Customers definitely inconvenienced her. She said her name was Melissa, and claimed that she was the store manager, when I asked to speak to one. Hubs and I ordered. We spent at least five minutes ordering because Melissa "the manager" couldn't figure out how to --fries + hush puppies and add on 1 pc of fish on the register. We spent over 20 minutes waiting for the order afterwards, and of course when we went to eat in the truck it was incorrect in our bag and didn't even have one napkin. But despite that, I ate a little over half of a piece of fish and then bit into what tasted like a chunky fish flavored piece of rubber. Not only could I not bite through it, I couldn't tear it apart with my hands either. It was a tough call whether it was even worth walking back in to complain, but since it was completely inedible, I did. The "manager", Melissa was arguing with another lady as she was ringing her up, and I couldn't help but overhear her smarta$$ attitude. When she finally acknowledged me and I picked the fish up to show her, she picked up every other piece of fish and chicken and began pulling it apart to see if anything was wrong with them. So, let me get this straight, Manager Melissa, I bring all of my food, minus 3/4 pc of 1 fish and my receipt from less than 5 minutes before, I got absolutely no apology, and you tried to make me feel like I inconvenienced you by walking in LJS at all. I highly doubt that "Melissa" is actually a manager at all, but I will be checking it out. The receipt had the worker name Alexander on it. My husband had to pull over for me sooooo many times today on our way home because my stomach is tore up from the floor up. It's hard to get treated for food poisoning during the COVID pandemic. By far this is the absolute worst fast food experience that I've ever had. The other people waiting for their food were discussing how rude she was, and a heated exchange happened between 3 customers and Melissa "the manager" as I stood there. No one has it easy, and we all have bad days. I give you my word....a kind word and a smile can make a huge difference in someone's day. In summary.....don't act like an ass!
