Unsanitary. I ordered through the drive thru and when I got home to check my order, there was a box of half eaten chicken. Idk about y'all but I think that's pretty disgusting. So I went back obviously to at get my money back and when I went through the line, the girl at the window + the other girl working laughed in my face. She didn't even open the window. Sorry ass Popeyes. I placed my order with the nice girl in the drive thru. Hey to the window after waiting a while. The guy handed me my order and it was all wrong. I replied i only have 1 sandwich I order 2 with fries and red beans and rice. He is says that will be 9.25. I have already paid for my order and it's not all here. Popeyes has been our go-to chicken joint since moving to Texas 35 years ago. But the Shrimp Tackle Box we ordered last night was the WORST bit of fast food I have ever purchased from anywhere! I use to order in the app but was having issues with my orders, so decided to go inside. Anyway placed an order 3 pc dark mild (leg & 2 thighs)mashed potatoes & pepper. They gave me all spicy and sad no peppers. So I went back said replace the chicken with mild, that's what I asked for at first. Me thinking they finally got it right ‍. This Popeyes has been getting worse and worse with every visit. I have had my fair share of problems with this Popeyes, however these last few weeks has been the worst and needless to say, I will never go to this Popeyes again. 3 weeks ago, I went into this establishment and ordered a 12 piece spicy, chicken only, as well as 4 strawberry biscuits. After driving home, about 30 something minutes away, I settled in and prepared to eat my food, only to find out that my strawberry biscuits, were regular, biscuits, that could have doubled as weapons or hockey pucks. Then I started to eat my chicken. I noticed that the chicken was tough around the bone of the 2 pieces of chicken I had. I didn't eat them. I gave them to my dog. My daughter took some of the chicken with her to work that night and she told me her chicken was tough and raw. I called and spoke with the manager and she was willing to replace it without a problem. I went in a few days later for my replacement early one evening. There was a lot of chicken fried, however, they didn't have any spicy chicken fried. They were eventually going to fry some, but it would take 20 minutes and that was time that I did not have. A week later, I went to Popeyes to finally have this mess up rectified. They had the spicy chicken, but I did notice that a lady ordered a 16 piece mild of which they did not have enough pieces to complete her order. One thing I gathered is that management is severely lacking. In addition to getting my re-order, I added on a large macaroni and cheese, a large red beans and rice, and a large coleslaw. Drove home over 30 minutes, as I live in the country, made it home and noticed my red beans and rice was more like a full cup of rice and 2 tablespoons of beans. I didn't eat any red beans and rice, however, my husband did. He went back for seconds and upon opening the red beans and rice, he noticed they smelled funny. He asked me to smell them and they were spoiled. My daughter took some to work with her again and I have no way of notifying her that the food is spoiled. I pray she smells it or doesn't get sick if she eats it. I am not sure if it even makes sense to call and make a complaint. I don't think it will help. I will just refuse to patronize this Popeyes again. Then again, I may call corporate. They are going to make someone sick or kill someone. read more

I don't know what it is with ALL the employees that work here at this specific location on Phelan, but they are all rude, at least everyone I've had the pleasure of speaking to. It also takes FOREVER every time I come and order anything and the only reason why I come here is because it's right across the street from my work. My first time coming here I ordered two chicken sandwiches and it took legit 20 minutes to get my order and it wasn't particularly busy at that time. Picked up two chicken sandwiches and both were gross and tiny (see pictures). The smallest one was raw and the other was so thing it was like leather. I guess this is the quality to expect now. Will not be trying them again read more

Passing through town on a road trip and stopped here for lunch. ALL of the workers were extremely rude, and the cashier Veronica seemed annoyed to even be here. Heaven forbid you try and use a coupon, because that is obviously too much to ask for. Another customer disputed the price of her meal and was given a response that all prices listed on their menu were wrong and they charged more for them now and they can't do anything about it. Worst Popeyes experience ever. Sad thing is it wasn't even busy enough to warrant this behavior or experience. read more

This is literally the worst Popeyes in the entire nation. I've been sitting in the drive through for over 20 minutes 5 of which is at the order kiosk and they haven't even acknowledged my presence. The service has truely declined. it's a shame I live a block from this location but have to drive to another location to get darn popeyes. literally no cars in the parking lot and no cars in the driveway. no one talked on the speaker.... had to pull to the window to even get my order took. then still had to wait... staff was just standing around talking. read more

This location refused to serve firefighters and police officers. This is unacceptable and our first responders should have been treated with more dignity than being told they are not allowed to be served due to their job. My husband purchased a family meal to go and I asked for jambalaya. When he got back I noticed he got dirty rice and that's not what we ordered. We called to let them know that our order was messed up and the lady told us on the phone that the jambalaya and the dirty rice were the same. We're disappointed!The rest of the food was good despite not being given enough sweet heat sauce. We'll go a little further to try another Popeyes in hopes for better service. read more

Worse experience at a fast food restaurant. The cashier wouldn't just type in our order, she would turn around and prepare other orders while we were trying order! It took at least 20 minutes to place our order! The legs at Popeyes getting smaller and smaller. More like drumettes. I got the $20 special with large fries, large rice & 5 biscuits. I asked for trays, ketchup & honey. I got was given 3 trays, 3 honey and 4 ketchup. I asked for more trays and forks. They lady wasn't happen but hell, how are we supposed to eat the rice? It's not finger foods and we need more condiments. Can I get at least 5 honeys for the 5 biscuits? Customer service sucks. read more

Absolutely horrible, I pulled up in line at 9:25 p.m. and was told unceremoniously that they had basically already shut down and if I wanted any food it was going to take them 30 minutes to get back up and running. As I searched for another place to get my children food to eat, I watched them turn away another 8 customers in a row.
