Never been so happy to be "hustled" in my life! First of…read moreall, I have to thank my daughter Lauren for turning me on to this place! She RAVED about it a few weeks ago and loved it so much she did a Google review on it! I have to say she was "DEAD ON" with her review! ( Go look at Google Reviews if you want to read it). As I am a native New Orleanian it's hard to impress me when it comes to food in general. I am extremely particular about most food I eat, and chicken wings are no exception. Too many people think that when you're from New Orleans everything you eat has to be loaded with cayenne pepper or salt. (They're completely wrong by the way, but that's a story for another day)... Anyway, even with Lauren's recommendation of the place I wasn't expecting a whole lot. At best I thought that they might have some flavorful chicken; I was also hoping that it wouldn't be dry. In short, this place blew me away! They have taken great care to create sauces that tease and delight your pallet, from slightly sweet blends, to burn the lips off your body (if you like that sort of thing), ! Seriously, there is something for EVERYONE here! I had a couple of different types of wings. I love sauces, but I'm a big fan of dry rubs as well. The lemon pepper here is better than any. I've tasted anywhere! I also had the Poppin Cherry wings, which if I'm gonna be honest, I thought it might've been way too sweet for my pallet, but surprise! They would just right, sweet with a nice kick at the end! I also had the Jammin jerk which reminded me of the Caribbean. The Peach knockout wings fooled me, because although they started off tasting somewhat sweet, but as soon as you got a good bite the heat hit you back of your throat! All in all, I think I tried six different sauces and one dry rub. None of them disappointed as evidenced by the pictures below. In addition, they have to be some of the sweetest people above that since I've been here in North Carolina. The host is wonderful, and she even gave us some advice on other places to try while we're here. I also got a chance to meet the chef, and it's clear that he loves what he does as evidenced by the way his food tastes and the way he talks about it. I love me some people that love what they do, and this young man does! As we speak, I'm on my way back to Hustle to get hustled again! Don't miss out on the spot, especially for you locals! Oh, I almost You be doing yourself a grave disservice if you don't go, try it!

The first thing I noticed was that you order at the register and then to the end of that counter you have the drink station and the condiments and all that other good stuff. The menu had a small but good variety of options. There were shareables, tenders, smash burgers, chicken wraps/sandwiches, and wings. I decided to go with the wrap and got the Asian chicken wrap. My mom and I sat down and the food was out in 10 minutes. My wrap was warm and pretty flavorful I would say. The chicken was grilled in a sweet sauce that kind of tasted like teriyaki, and it came with lettuce and tomato in it. As my side I decided to give the Mac and Cheese a try. I would say that the mac and cheese wasn't too impressive but it also did surprise me because it wasnt like your average bright yellow mac and cheese. So I would definitely try out another side when I get to come back here. Overall I enjoyed my visit at hustle wings. The service was good, the food was good. If you're in the area and want to try something new give this place a try.

They had a young one-man musician performing, and while I can't remember his name, he did an excellent job. He honestly ended up being our favorite live entertainment of the entire trip. His performance was one of the reasons we wanted to come back. On our second visit for the Fourth of July, we were excited to catch the advertised live band. The sign said they would start at 7:30, but they were just beginning to set up at that time and didn't look close to playing until much later. We were also a little disappointed that Friday karaoke wasn't happening because of the holiday weekend. We had really been looking forward to it. That said, the food absolutely made up for it. The chicken wings were outstanding--easily some of the best wings we had during our trip. The pork rinds were another surprise favorite and are perfect for sharing while enjoying a drink. CJ's has that laid-back, small-town mountain vibe that's easy to appreciate. If you're passing through Bryson City, it's a great place to stop, relax, and grab some food and drinks. My only recommendation is to call ahead if you're planning your evening around karaoke or live music, just to make sure the schedule is accurate. We'll definitely stop back the next time we're in Bryson City. Great food, friendly atmosphere, and a place that's worth checking out.

Decided to stop here for lunch. Good service, good food, cold beer…read more What more do you need.

All the food, like last time, was paced perfectly. Our apps and salad were not overlapped by my our entrees! And the rolls, c'mon! They're hot and delicious! We shared the onion strings app, tasted perfect and loved the dipping sauce. We also got side salads with ranch -- wow, you can tell it's made there, and just the right amount of dill in it! For entrees, wife and I shared the 14oz ribeye -- WOW, is it good -- with a side of broccoli. Good amount of marbling, perfect temp (medium), and juicy. MIL had the fried chicken, which was probably a 3 out of 5 for her. Only two of the four pieces were juicy, and to me it looked a little over cooked. We had no room for dessert, and the snow started coming down heavy, so we left after filling up. Make sure you don't assume anything with this place being in a strip mall -- it is sooooo good! See you again next year!

We ordered appetizers before our meals and they were a hit! We enjoyed the cheese curds, potato skins, and several types of wings. They were awesome! (Do yourself a favor and try the bourbon wings!). I had the fish and chips and my bride enjoyed the Reuben with a side of broccoli. Everything was delicious and the portions were so large that many in the group needed to go boxes. McKayla took care of our group of 11 and provided superb service! Our drinks were never empty, our food came fast - even on a busy Saturday night, and she made sure we had everything we needed. I am not sure how she was able to do this so quickly; I think that she may be a ninja. Thank you, McKayla! Thank you, Valley Tavern, for a memorable evening! We will see you again soon!

The waitress was quick, helpful, and friendly and the food was out pretty fast (it wasn't super busy as we went at 4pm ish on a week day) but I was pleasantly surprised to find the food was pretty tasty. We got cheese bites, and a cheeseburger, tots, grilled cheese and soup, and chicken strips. The grilled cheese and chili was on special for only $5 which was great value. The chili was more like a tortilla soup but good and burger was also pretty tasty. Ambience was like a normal sports bar vibe. TVs were everywhere and huge. Bathroom was also clean. It was pretty dim indoors.
