It seems Popeyes, Wendy's, and McDs are competing with this item. My chicken was good. It was warm, but the tortilla was not. I asked for an extra pack of ranch dressing because they weren't very generous. Same with the shredded cheese, but I guess they have their standards. Now I need to try Mc Donalds's version. I ordered 12 honey barbecue wings, but they were in two different boxes. One box was warm but the other one was very cold. It isn't unreasonable to expect that Popeyes would give you hot food, but because they gave me cold wings I went back and asked them to rectify this. They asked me to wait four minutes for fresh wings but I had to wait ten minutes. I thought this was going to a fast process (as they told me it would take no more than four minutes), so I waited to eat all of my wings together but by the time the 10 minutes passed my original wings were cold. Additionally, when I went to get my original order fixed one of the employees asked me if I ordered honey barbecue wings and when I said yes, he rudely slammed down on the counter with his hand for no reason - just to end up giving me the wrong flavor in the end. OMG. I just witnessed the make of the world famous Popeyes Chicken Sandwiches. I heard some crazy story in the news happened because of these sandwiches, so I got 2 of these. Definitely overrated. Chicken was crispy but dry inside. Bun should be slightly crispy in my opinion. read more

This is the mall location. The prices are naturally higher than outside the mall, but quality and service are just as you would find elsewhere. They were pretty quick and very helpful. The food here is always hot chicken and fresh. No doubt about it. The lines on Saturday lunchtime moves very fast and they keep up with the chicken orders. They seem to be on the ball when its lunch time. The staff is good and the manager is always nearby to help out to move the line forward and to get orders out. Yes, I am a fan but my only problem with this Popeye's is NO DISCOUNTS. Because this is a corporate own restaurant they don't do any discounts of any kind. They want you to pay FULL RETAIL PRICE for their food which to me is an outrage because the reason people come to Arundel Mills is for the discounted products the stores have. To Pay Full Price for a meal that is discounted at any other Popeye's except for this one is not fair. Hey, I know what you doing and the company needs to make a profit. I got charged for an extra drink when it was already included in the meal. Then I got charged for a refill...since when do fast food spots charge for a refill? Slap a big sign up front so the customers aren't surprised to hear of this refill charge... Also, there was a long line of customers and just one register open with one cashier taking orders all while the manager was having a full blown conversation with another employee. I am a lover of Popeye's, but was greatly disappointed with the service that I received at the mall. First of all, I ordered six tenders and was given one sauce. When I asked for more, I was told that I needed to pay 25 cent per sauce. I also was disappointed because, when I bit into my chicken it wasn't fully done. I ended up spitting it out and throwing it away. I didn't even go back to complain, because it seemed pointless. They are in a mall with a high demand and rather then check the food they put out for great quality, they just push it out to make a quick dollar and get the line down and keep it moving. Had to return the fries ordered because they were cold, only to get a new order of fries SMALLER than what I had ordered. The worst customer service I have ever had in my life!!! Ordered #12 shrimp and fish and before I could finish my order this shift manager was standing there with my order. I told her I wasn't finished ordering at that time I caught the attitude. Went to my table to find out I had no fish. I went back to ask about the fish and then she tried to blame the cashier.
