A good sports bar with tons of TV's! Food was as expected. We had a great waitress that tried very hard to give great service.

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat while I was waiting on my hotel nearby to be ready and I was quickly seated at the bar. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and managed the large bar easily. I opted for a happy hour marg and it was HUGE. For food, I went with the fried fish and fries meal which hit the spot! We got to the area later Friday night than originally planned, so were hungry and wanted to somewhere close by to the hotel. The front desk staff mentioned this place which was down the street, so we headed over. Got there in less than 5 minutes, walked in and sat at the bar that had a good number of seats available. Gives your typical bar/pub vibe, tvs around the bar with sports on/playing. Once we sat down, the bartender immediately came over to greet us and bring us menus to look over. She was so friendly, attentive and gave great service. We ordered the Homerun Margaritas which were really good! They were much larger than we expected, the flavor of each were good - I had the mango and he got strawberry - and had a good balance of the flavor and alcohol in it. And it was only $7! Shoutout to them having all-day happy hour. The food was pretty good and filling also. For my Fried Shrimp platter, they definitely have a solid amount and number of shrimp on the plate, they were seasoned well and fried with a nice crisp. I took a bite of his fried fish platter which was also cooked and seasoned well. And I was shocked that the Mac and Cheese was very good - creamy, cheese and had a good taste to it as well. Overall, good eats for our late night dinner. We ended up getting some food delivered to our hotel from here the following night: the desserts (Bourbon Cake and Lava Cake) were very rich and satisfying, Knockout Shrimp were also tasty, and the wings were okay (may have been the sauce we chose and it being the grilled wings). read more

A sad nope. We used to love Glory Days. We were happy to see one near our hotel and ordered takeout mid afternoon - so wasn't busy. Biggest disappointment was when we ordered a steak salad and it had no steak!! Seriously?! No cutlery, no napkins, nothing. Had to drive back. They fixed it but didn't seem to care. My friends and I had dinner plans this Tuesday afternoon. The experience was underwhelming. The reason we came tonight was because of a endless wings promotion. We ordered our food as soon as our waiter came after waiting for 20 minutes. We then waited another 40 for our food to even arrive. Keep in mind the reason we wanted to come tonight was for the promotion for endless wings. We then were only able to order a total of three plates. Each time the wait became longer and longer. Overall, this experience was a poor one. We won't be coming back anytime soon. The environment is nice but the service was lackluster. read more

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a glory days while in Maryland.. I came to the bar area and did not receive service for more than 41 minutes. I even moved tables under the assumption that maybe I was seated in the wrong area, I certainly wasn't. A couple came in approximately 19 minutes after I did and were served and greeted within 5 minutes of taking their seats.. for clarity, it was also 3 pm on a Wednesday.. they were not busy at all. P.S. if you go to this area, go to the chilis across the street. Apparently it is common for glory days to treat non-regulars this way. I just got home after picking up my order from Glory Days, and I'm beyond disappointed. I ordered the strawberry salmon salad, and there were only four strawberries in the entire salad--how is this a "strawberry" salad? According to the description (which I've attached), it's supposed to be served on a bed of spinach mix with pecans, but there was no spinach at all--just romaine lettuce. I also searched for the pecans, and there weren't any. On top of that, there were only a few crumbles of feta, and they gave me one tiny dressing container, which wasn't even enough to coat the salad. For $18, this was a complete waste of money and did not match the description in the slightest. I've attached pictures as proof. Definitely not worth it! read more

Traditional restaurant setup with a bar in the middle. The bar area where I sat was dirty but they didn't wipe it up when asked. The server was very nice and attentive. They had a Friday fish fry special and I thought the quality and portion size was well above average for this price point. Had some of my friend's salad, not as good and they wish they got fish fry. Within walking distance of a few hotels, this spot had a lot of locals not just travelers. We visited twice and sat at the bar. First visit the bartender was 'flighty'. Got much of our order wrong, and we noticed other's in her section were getting the same. She wasn't new either. She just kept apologizing and then continued doing things wrong. Second visit the bartenders were more capable, but attention to detail is still lacking. No friendly bartender chit chat either visit. Any who. Ceaser salad was fresh and heavily dressed. Nacho's had a good amount of chili, an OK amount of sour cream and a big 'ol stack of chips. Good for two or more. The cheddar broccoli soup was very thick, good amount of broccoli and just a bit salty. Lots of TV's are posituoned on all sides of the bar. A college football game was generating a few groans on a Saturday. Basketball was on another time. A wide variety of music is playing in the background. Everything from from punk to country. The parking area, shared with several other businesses in this strip mall, is a fair size. It's average bar food. Not amazing, not terrible. The menu has variety and as it's walking distance from the hotel we stayed at, that makes this place a win. read more

We came here for an after work dinner so there was a lot of us. The wait staff were extremely patient with our large group. The only thing I would say was how the food was brought out, there were some people who were already finished their meal before others got their food. The Mac n cheese bites are heaven on earth! What a pleasant surprise. I actually came here after leaving Chili's (horrible service, cramped and dirty seating area had my family leave immediately after being shown to our seat, we didn't even sit down). This atmosphere is so welcoming, spacious and calm. Immediately greated with a friendly smile and followed up with a very friendly waitress. We planned to eat early but the need to find a new place to eat had my daughter being a tad cranky due to being sleepy however my waitress stay fun and friendly which I truly appreciated. What an unnecessarily bad experience. Last night I walked to Glory Days from my hotel, was seated at a table. It was very packed, which I thought was a good sign. I ordered a drink and the fish fry meal to-go. This consisted of fried haddock and two sides. I chose the chips, as in potato chips, and the steamed vegtables. After a while, my server delivered my meal to the table, and then remembered that I had ordered it to-go. After another wait, he delivered my meal in a to-go bag, I paid the check, with a tip, and walked back to the hotel. When I opened the bag, the first thing I noticed is that there were no utensils or napkins. Luckily, I was in the Homewood Suites, so I silverware. I took one bite of a potato chip, and it was incredibly salty. I noticed that it appeared that someone had poured a tremendous amount of salt on top of the chips as there was plenty at the bottom of the container. Likewise with the fried haddock. It was incredibly salty on the top. I removed the top batter and ate what I could. The broccoli was good, and was apparently saved from the salt treatment as it was in a separate container. The majority of my "meal" ended up in the trash. My conclusion is that a perfectly good meal was ruined by someone, as well as ruining the reputation of a perfectly good restaurant. read more

Update : I came here again. This time with a friend of mine, and there was a rowdy group of adults, maybe 22 or so sitting behind us. Without much time and I'm assuming noticing the swiveling heads and uh, simply reading the room even? Our server politely, but quickly gave them their checks and they were gone within minutes. For not only myself, but for surrounding others to have finished their meals in peace. Overall, 5 star experience because of our server. In town for a wedding and was in the mood for sports bar atmosphere. This place did it!!! I had the Thursday night special Steak Frites and my wife had the Triple Play. All of the entrees were amazing. Now I can say that the Buffalo Chicken Dip starter was much to be desired.. it was lukewarm and it says you get Scoops with it and we got regular Fritos. In the mood for bar food and close to the hotel. Bonus! Was just heading to get wings and found clam chowder on the menu. What! My fave. Had to try it as I love clam chowder . It didn't disappoint. I would have been happy with all you can eat chowder! But I added the 10 piece barbecue wings which is why I came in the first place. They were large and crispy with great barbecue sauce covering. Glory days allowed for plenty of searing and has a good sized bar. They had TVs all over and had some different sports games playing. We waited for just a couple minutes while the hostess cleaned some tables for us. We were greeted by our waitress quickly and drinks came within a reasonable amount of time. The waitress probably should find a different job as she appeared to be miserable. There was another waitress that complained about customers coming in to eat. Not sure if the management is bad or they just have some waitress that missed their calling to work at the Secretary of State. Our appetizer came relatively in a timely manner with our food to follow. She forgot some condiments and was really put out when we asked for them for the second time. Two of our orders were not correct but we just kept eating as she wouldn't want to have to tolerate us asking for the right food. Buffalo chicken dip was a solid pick. The Philly was decent. The meatloaf was average overall for it being a chain style restaurant the food was what we expected. There was plenty of variety to choose from. The panini pasta with grilled chicken was also great. The bone in wings left a bit to be desired. The taste of the wings were not to my liking. Stopped for lunch on a Tuesday and the crowd was light. This is a typical sports bar with lots I TV and options to watch sports. Sat in the bar and had to wait longer than usual but not bad. Server was pleasant but not high energy. I ordered a cheesesteak and was asked if I wanted mushrooms which I said yes. Sandwich was very good and well cooked. I am not sure about the negative reviews, my experience has always been positive here! Today I went in for happy hour. Eric was the tender behind the bar. He was chill and the beer was cold. The bar was full and some surrounding tables. He found a way to connect with everyone he was serving. My food came out hot and fresh! Staff is pretty good and friendly. I ordered a steak. It was unseasoned and tough as leather. I ordered it to go to eat while finishing up some reports at the hotel across the street. The plastic wear is cheap and flimsy. The fork broke while trying to open the package so I had to eat caveman style. Pleasantly surprised: very affordable, good sized portions even considering that. Staff were efficient despite every seat at the bar being full (plus a number of tables). Everybody seemed in a good mood on a random weeknight, with a full patio outside too. Somebody had started a game of cornhole in the side parking lot. Overall good vibes. This kind of place is pretty loud, but that's as expected. Pretty full selection of drink offerings. Burger was good for the price, crispy shrimp were better than expected.
