I went to this location around August 8, 2026. Easy to order at kiosk inside. It was quick I had my food in ten minutes it was delicious. I love New Orleans spicy! I got the three box and a side for $8. Scanned my app and earned points. I will go here again. I am not sure why this place doesn't get better reviews. I thought food tasted great and everyone was quick. Drive thru did look like it had a wait. The food was hot. Thank you. I will be back! The chicken and fries were so good I didn't get a picture! Everyone there was working very hard and were polite. read more

what was delivered from a 10 piece special - 6 wings, 2 breast, 1 thigh - dried out meat. Coke cola all ice melted drink watered down. This place is a joke, so sad. The spicy chicken sandwich is assume. The down fall is there is always an issue here. Either they are out of chicken or they just up and close early. The other day I was there in the pouring rain and they had the drive through closed. The staff turnover is constant. They also seem to not read the tickets and food is missing. As much as I like the food, I am done. For Popeye lovers, you might want to consider the one in Spring Hill. The staff always seems unhappy. read more

We are very satisfied with our meal on 6/17/26 at 7 pm it was hot fresh and delicious. young lady at cash register was very friendly and pleasant! The dining area was clean and clear of trash. We ordered through the kiosk the it took about 15 minutes and the staff were hustling and seemed to take their Job seriously . Good job everyone. read more

Gone to Trash. FRAUD - We bought the 18 (6 + 6 + 6) flavors. They only served us 6 with flavors. Other 6 + 6 were just plain. Asked for sauces on the chicken Parmesian + honey. Manager yelled us off that : - "they already served us - so they did not have to give us sauces" We left early instead of finishing meal - and eat cold at home instead - without missing food provided. We should have just insisted on Refund and/or called the Police. Will NEVER go there again ! read more

Manger and 10 other people just for them not to work!? Sad takes 30 minutes to pay for an order?? Why

I've never had bad food from this place, or bad service. I usually come during the week in the afternoon, which may explain why it seems like I get through the drive through much quicker than it sounds like other reviewers have. It's that's the trick then I'll stick to it. Their speaker post at the drive through is muffled and low volume, and they get frequent pot holes in the parking lot, but I liked the music they had playing outside while I was waiting in line. My only other gripe is that the sides are never filled to the top of their containers. Not sure if they use bigger containers to avoid overflow, or if they don't fill them completely so they can retain product, but from the consumer end it looks like you're getting shortchanged. Other than that, this place has been consistently as good as other Popeye's locations. You can't go wrong with their sides-- especially the macaroni & cheese. I also want to give extra respect to whoever made it a point to throw a bunch of Louisiana Hot Sauce packets in our bag, too. That was a nice surprise. read more

Terrible service, my husband went in for two wraps that were advertised and was there for 20 minutes. LAZY staff!!!

Poor service- waited over 30 min in drive thru to be told "we can't take your order bc someone placed a large order before you". Huh? Isn't it your job? They flat out said "my manager said we can't take orders right now. Sorry." Mind you, it's 5pm on a Saturday. We had a line behind us and no one in front of us. They didn't even try to help us. Never even asked what we wanted. For all they knew, we e wanted drinks. They didn't care to ask. If I could, I would rate them lower than low. Poor mgmt of a store and even worse customer service. read more

Ordered a mobile order and got to the store and sat in the drive-through for 15 minutes. Got upset so I drove up to the window and employee came up and said sorry we're closed. I asked her to put a sign on the drive through so the customers knew. But I literally drove 20 minutes to get to the store and waited all that time. Then I had to drive all the way back home. Wasted about an hour of my time. With no food. This location just needs closed down. There's never enough employees to run and trying to talk to someone about a mishap is impossible. All phone calls get directed to there website when an AI helps you but doesn't help at all. Now I have to wait 3-5 days for a refund. This is not the way to run a business. I'll update you if I ever receive my money back. They need to do something else for wasting my time but I know they won't. read more

This is what $3.39 +tax will get you...several nasty, burnt, and SUPER OLD fried pickles. Not only were they all burnt and some were empty, but they'd been sitting at room temperature since opening. The 1st and only one I ate, I immediately spit it out; old and cold. Not even an attempt to warm it up; shameless! I guarantee the person who served me these, would've never served it to themselves, family members, friends, or even enemies! Epic failure and and great way to get rid of old food! read more

My experience today was arrived at the restaurant very slow as usual. The lady took my order and she was agitated and arguing with the people in the background when I came to the window to pay for the bill and when I got my food, I paid her and had to wait and wait and wait for finally. The food was delivered by somebody else to the window And then I got it home and all I got one order of the two orders I paid for, but they were too busy arguing to pay attention to your customer in the suit and if service is still lousy there, I will never go back. I hope people read this and understand why. read more

The reviews don't do this justice. Ate there for the first time yesterday around 1:30. Didn't want to use that dreaded kiosk and they graciously took my order at the counter with no attitude. Chicken breast and thigh were hot, spicy, juicy and delicious. Mashed potatoes with gravy was hot and delicious as well. Dining room was clean. No complaints and Will definitely be back. Thoroughly enjoyed it! read more

I've been a fan of Popeyes for several years. I'm kind of a Fried Chicken fanatic and I thought Popeyes was among the best. This Popeyes location is a disappointment. The Chicken I had was rather dry, not hot and the pieces were small. The best thing I had was their rice and beans. They were tasty and hot. This is my 2nd visit to this location and I wasn't impressed with my first visit either. I ordered on line and when I arrived, they couldn't find my order. I had to show my receipt on my phone. Obviously, I'm not returning to this location. I'm specifically saying this location because I've been to many others that much better. read more

I have no idea how these places stay open with such terrible customer service. I went inside because there were 6 cars in line that were not moving. I simply ordered two pieces of chicken, that's it. 23 minutes to get it. I observed everyone that was waiting and all had the dissatisfaction look on their faces. Writing this as I wait. I don't care how good this chicken is, life is too short for this frustration. I'll never set foot in a Popeyes again. read more

I like Popeye's fried chicken and mashed potatoes but it's been a battle whenever I order using their mobile app. I stand in line and wait. Unfortunately, the service here was so atrocious I have to leave a 1 star review. I waited in the drive thru for about 15 minutes and nobody helped me. Half was spent at the speaker, then I went up to the window. At the window I could clearly see at least 4 people in the kitchen and not one came to acknowledge me. I then went in, hoping to order and receive better service. Unfortunately, when I got inside there was a big group of people around the counter and no one there to help. I was able to order my food at the kiosk, but then had to help others as they still hadn't placed their orders. When I finally got my food, I let them know that I received no help in the drive thru, and I got a shrug and "sorry" as the employee was walking away from me. I am so disappointed in the lack of basic human interaction just trying to order fast food. read more

love popeye's but the location on hywy 52 in hudson fl 34667 never has good service. staff either can't read or doesn't care. who ever own it doesn't care either. ordered 2 orders of 8 wings. one hot,one classic. spent 53.00. they don't answer phone so i got to eat cereal, because not enough wings for everyone was a mix of wings, breast, thighs was not what i ordered. popeye's need to close this spot down. read more

Made a doordash order for two normal chicken sandwiches. Received multiple messages from door dasher on rudeness from employees and lack of chicken product. Store should be shutdown. Store is not clean - there was a monster Puddle in front of the counter dripping from ceiling. Just go to popeyes in spring hill, lot better service and quality in the food ! * Also, they were recooking food because it was mushy - we heard the staff talking about it as they did it - "its mushy customers complaining just recook it" Customer in front of us was complaining about the food being mushy. They seemed to have plenty of stock ready in the warmer, but took 20 minutes to do our order and the order in front of us. Gave us a hard time just to get condiments - ended having to ask somebody else for cups etc. When we sat down we found that they missed 1 of the 3 orders of chicken wings and fingers that we ordered. Turned around and said we were harassing her when I asked for it ! The cashier also filling the orders was slow and rude. She was working (register and filling orders) with only 1 hand while the other was under a sweatter hanging off her shoulder. Sloppy worker. Tried calling for manager multiple times in the cooking area - but she ignored us. Finally while we were eating - I saw her at the counter. I ran up and the manager (stocky attitude girl with short black hair) said she was ignoring me because she was busy. When I complained about missing food and condiments - she and the workers just laughed it off. Won't go there again. Looking at reviews, it seems to have been a problem there for at least a year now. read more

Ok, I read all the negative reviews and understood it would be a crap shoot going to this location. But I was craving one of their chicken sandwiches so I rolled the dice. Service was fast and cordial (not super friendly but certainly not rude or mean at all.) They had food in stock and it came out fast and warm. Fries were clearly "older" and not a fresh batch (chance you take at fast food places) and chicken sandwich bun was a little soggy like it had been pre-made and was sitting in its wrapper and got soggy. Still tasted good and was hot. Not bad at all. Did I get lucky or do they have new "warmer" staff? read more

Food was horrible! This was the second time in nearly two years that I went to Popeye's. After working in New Orleans and loving Popeye's, when I moved to Hudson, FL I tried Popeye's. HORRIBLE food!! Went back this week, after nearly a year later...and the food was just as horrible I threw the sandwich away...after one bite of it!!! So, I will not complain any further other than to say that I will never go back again to this POPEYE'S!!! The service was ok..they do not make the drive-up selections, so I struggled with ordering! I should have left without ordering!!! My opinion is that the food was horrible and unless you are able to go back to let them know how horrible the food was/is...you have wasted your money!!! Yelp is the only way to make this fact available to folks!!!! If I could give no star for the food...I would!!!! read more
