I went through the drive. While in line, I saw advertisement for 3 for $5.00. I saw another advertisement for fried pickles with sauce. I am now placing my order for 2 thighs & wing. AI stated I could not specify which pieces of chicken for the 3 for $5.00. AI recommended 1 thigh, 1 leg, 1 wing. I said fine and ordered the fried pickles. I just had a Popeyes chicken sandwich for a late lunch. It was so good and tasty. The service was good but I have a complaint. Why do I have to order on the app to get a free apple pie when I am already at the window with a code for the apple pie right at the drive through. The last time I went to the same location we ordered from the app to pick up at the store but you couldn't go inside. Meanwhile people keep coming to pick up their online order. I placed a mobile order and my daughter went through the drive thru to pick it up. I re ch never the wrong order. I was missing a whole meal and fries from my order. I immediately called the store ( mind you the store is not around the corner) and told them what happened. Atten: Popeyes Franchise owner for the store just off the Panola Rd exit. Your customer service was great. The cashier was friendly, and for the amount of business that was in the building AND in the drive through that was wrapped around the building, I got my food pretty quick. However, The food quality was absolutely below the company standard. And the fact that I can say that and not even now what the lowest grade could be, I'm sure my order was waaaay down below it. I ordered two of the blackened chicken sandwiches and added an original one. After waiting for about 12-13 minutes, I got my order. Not thinking I needed to check the contents I took my food home. This is when I realized my blackened chicken was not only blackened but it was also either over cooked or had been sitting in the heat bin well past it's heating window because the outer layer of it was inedible and tough. That's two sandwiches that were horrible. Let's move to the third sandwich which was the original. It too was hard to chew and tasted as if it had. Even sitting in the heating tray too long. And again, my wait time was probably the amount of time it took to cook a fresh one. I declined to even make the trip back due to the amount of traffic I'd have to sit through.
