Great restaurant in Melbourne. This restaurant is located on the south side of US 192 and is constructed as a stand-alone building at the front of the Publix shopping center. This is both good and bad. It is good because there is plenty of parking. It is bad because traffic can be challenging, so be careful driving or walking to and from this location. The restaurant looks remarkably new inside. It supports a drive-thru and dine-in eating. I have only been to a few restaurants of this chain but have been impressed each time and this one was another excellent experience. The staff was friendly. Ordering the meal was easy inside the restaurant. Their online ordering was not the same experience. The lobby was clean, spacious, and very tastefully decorated although there seemed to be limited seating for about 40 people. I ordered the classic chicken sandwich meal. This comes with the sandwich, 1 side, and a drink. I ordered it with red beans and rice for about $10. It was a little bit spicy but prepared quickly and absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anybody wanting a good meal. They are known for their Chicken, Tea, and biscuits so be sure to get one or all three of these when you visit. Enjoy! read more

This was only my second visit ever to any Popeyes restaurant. I typically go to.....KFC(shhh), which is not too often. I try not to eat 'fast food', if I can find more wholesome menu items. Superb! Excellent! We were greeted warmly when we arrived. Our cashier Alexander was very helpful and made several recommendations. He smiled and was very nice. Our food was served warm/hot. The chicken tenders were cooked perfectly. They were tender with a spicy flavor. Not chewy but easy to bite and chew. The popcorn shrimp was a large serving. The shrimp had great flavor. The Mac and cheese was nice and cheesy and the red beans and rice were also perfectly done. The lobby and dining areas were clean and bright. The management and crew of this store are to be commended. It is difficult to maintain a fast food restaurant at 6:30 at night but this team was excellent. My wife and I watched them work. I live right behind this Popeyes location, and what I can say with utmost certainty is that the quality of chicken you will get depends a lot on what time you show up here. I do like my fried chicken spicy, and that's a hit or miss at this location. Some days, the chicken is nice and spicy and you can see the little red chili flakes when you tear it apart. other days, I'm fairly convinced that the person gave me regular instead of spicy. Joke of an establishment. Ordered a normal chicken combo meal the woman taking our ordered said it came with one side, biscuit and a beverage. I also order one chicken sandwich just the sandwich. I paid and patiently waited for my food yet when it arrived to my vehicles window no drink was provided .. I then started digging into my bag and realized there was also no biscuit the entire reason I had went to Popeyes in the first place.
