Delicious omelettes and try these creamy corn grits ... so good!!!
    Lena B.

Experience: It was 10:00 on a Tuesday and we stopped in for breakfast. Facility: this is located in a strip mall and you might miss it if you're not paying attention. It's a small place inside with tables and chairs and could maybe fit 30 people. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you. Service: it was great, and Gia was so nice! They were very patient and accommodating to our requests. And also patient as it was our first time and tough to choose what to try. Food came out fairly quick and was fresh and hot. Food: Amazing! We loved the torta type omelettes filled with veggies and meat. We ordered the ham omelette with maduros (sweet cooked plantains. I lived in the Caribbean for 10 years and these were the best maduros I ever ate. They were so yummy crunchy caramelized on the outside and sweet and soft in the middle. Just perfect! I ordered the vegetarian omelette but added sausage and cheese. LOL! It was soooo good. Then I ordered grits on the side... they were so creamy and tasted just like sweet corn. Overall: we will absolutely be back! The food was soooo good. And they had so much more things we want to try now. Thanks yall!! 5/5!

What a little slice of heaven for breakfast. Had to kill some time before the bookstore opened. We yelped local breakfast places and this gem popped up. Staff was super friendly. Food came out fast and tasted wonderful. Atmosphere is is peaceful with Cuban vibes and music. We will return for sure.

    Picadillo Hash

Tried out Breakfast in Havana and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the picadillo hash with a side of Cuban bread and a cafecito to round it all out. The hash was flavorful with just the right amount of seasoning, and the sweet plantains hit that perfect caramelized spot. The Cuban bread was crispy, warm, and honestly stole the show--simple but so satisfying. The café Cubano? Strong, bold, and authentic--but heads up, it's very small. I get it's tradition, but I was still a little surprised at the size. Sip it slow, folks! The atmosphere is vibrant and very on-theme with its Havana vibes, and the place definitely had a steady buzz of regulars. My only slight gripe? The floors could use a sweep. Nothing major, but just a bit more attention there and this would be a 5-star spot for sure. Definitely worth checking out if you're craving a hearty Cuban breakfast in Melbourne

We came for breakfast. Ordered the Big Cuban, Picadillo Hash, ham croquetas, Cortadito Coffee and a Coca Cola. They serve Big generous portions. Very attentive and friendly staff. The Big Cuban was good, except for the mojo provided it tasted like it came out of a bottle and the toast was so hard, inedible. The Picadillo was NOT Cuban. It tasted like Mexican Picadillo. Nothing wrong with Mexican Picadillo but i was in Cuban restaurant. The homefries are not seasoned, they were plain ole potatoes. The croquetas were lacking flavor. Very disappointed. Dont come here if you want authentic Cuban food.

We stopped here for breakfast before boarding to go on our cruise. Do you know the saying, "when you're here, you're family?" That's exactly what it felt like. The service was great. They took the time to explain the dishes. The food was amazing. It was my first time tasting tostones & I really love them! The atmosphere was like going to nana's house on a Sunday morning. I felt at home. I highly recommend.

Cuban food is like a super power and until you try it you wouldn't understand. I found this gem this Yelp and it did not disappoint. The two times I came here. It was very packed. They have all the favorites I am used to. I started with a Cuban, a media noche and an order of guava pastries and quesitos. The empanadas were also super delicious and made the Cuban way (raisins). The media noches was too die for. Super delicious soft sweet bread really gets the ride to flavor town going. The Cuban sandwich will have you doing backflips. It is the size of a teenage child's head so bring your appetite. I'm not even going to describe what delight the quesitos were but let's say the crumbs on your shirt are a fashion statement as the taste of this brings flash back to Abuela's on a Sunday morning. All in all this little restaurant is now my we favorite in Melbourne and I will make it a point to stop in daily. Please make sure you visit!!!!

Located in a Publix shopping center.

In the continued search of Cuban food in the Melbourne/Viera area, today we stopped by Breakfast in Havana. This is a place my coworkers have recommended. Located in a Publix shopping center. Small location with indoor seating available. Looks clean. We placed a to go order. We ordered ropa vieja with white rice and sweet plantains for my husband. The dish comes with two sides for $14.99. I chose to try their pork sandwich or pan con lechon for $11.00. Service was good and quick. Waited about 5 minutes. I was surprise to see how big the pork sandwich was, literally 4 pieces and plenty of pork, and tasty too, like Lucy said. Will need to go back to dine inside and I will update my review. Overall it was a good visit.

    Fried masitas

Small Cuban restaurant in a strip mall next to a dollar store. Less than 10 tables but there were spots available, although the place was busy for lunch. At the counter, ordered a Grilled chicken sandwich, fried masitas (pork chunks), and the Pechuga de Pollo (grilled chicken). Sandwiches are served a la carte so we ordered a side of fries. Rice and beans and fried plantains came with the chicken and pork. Food came out one plate at a time I'm guessing due to a small kitchen. The food was average, and living in Miami my standards for Cuban food is higher than most in this particular area according to the reviews I'm seeing. Chicken sandwich was decent but a bit too much cheese for my taste. The pork and chicken were a bit lacking in taste, although not terrible. There were a stream of people ordering at the counter the whole time I was here...very busy. If I lived around here I'd probably come back but unfortunately this is not something I'm going out of my way to visit again.

[Quick Overview]: Overall awesome experience! I recommend anyone to try it. The food and coffee here is amazing. The portions and prices are great. Clean establishment. Fast and friendly service. The only negative I have is it's a little crowded! Details: When you walk in you can sit where ever you'd like, but to order you do have to wait in line and they bring the food to you after. So my recommendation is grab a table first if you can if you're planning on dining in! Otherwise it may be better to take your food to go. [Drinks]: The Colada is an easy 10/10. Such a delicious and decadent coffee with a hint of sweet! They just started serving sangrias and mimosas. I tried the sangria and it was also very pleasant, 10/10. [Cubano]: 8/10. This is a very good sandwich, it is absolutely MASSIVE! Sides are definitely not needed as you will likely take some of this Cuban home. My only complaint is the roasted pork was a little dry, otherwise all the flavors were there! [Classico]: 10/10. Very good hearty breakfast. The ham is worth raving over! So salty and sweet (it's cooked over brown sugar). The Potato's are perfectly crispy and they add a slightly spicy seasoning to them. Very good!

Picadillo Hash (Two fried eggs on top of picadillo(ground beef), with a side of yellow grits, small cuban toast and sweet plantains.)

Fantastic hole-in-the-wall breakfast/lunch place. Extensive menu full of homemade Cuban dishes offered at competitive prices. From the outside you wouldn't think there is much seating, but the interior fits a good amount of tables. Coffee and food come out quick so tables turn over to make room for everyone. This establishment is in a spacious Publix plaza with a shared parking lot. Highly recommend this one-of-a-kind restaurant.

    Cubano. Impenada. Coffee. Soooo good.

Food is incredible. Coffee is the best! Quintessential Cuban. So good. Friendly staff.

Whit's Frozen Custard of Melbourne-4270 Minton Rd #107, West Melbourne, FL 32904…read more 4.5 Stars Whit's Frozen custard opened on March 3, 2003, in Granville, Ohio. It is a national chain, with locations spanning 9 states across the US. Florida alone touts 19 individual locations, with four additional coming soon. As a beachside Brevard County native, I have listened to my fair share of whiney New Yorker's who complain, "dere ain't no custard stands in dis stinkin' place." And I've always thought to myself, "How could anyone possibly eat pudding set upon a cone?" Well journey forward 50 years, and you'll be surprised to discover a tiny joint that does sell "custard." Delve into the details a bit further however, and you will unearth that the key ingredient to the custard concoction is eggs, commingling and infused with ice cream. The resulting dessert has a full texture that is thick, creamy and most delicious. You will have a plethora of choices, with very nearly 200 flavors, at hand for the asking. Additionally, these tasty blends are sold in either pint or quart size. Upon entering the establishment, I found the bright-eyed, spunky, teenage, bel espirit, Emily waiting counter side. I ordered a Buck-eye Madness. For visual reference only: think Dairy Queen blizzard. This was filled to the brim with peanut butter and nicely doused in chocolate syrup. It was oh so good. I should add here that I purchased a quart of buckeye to take home; it lasted 24 hours. Big Boy Says, "This is a fun treat and I think a first in Brevard. Give 'em a try."
