Do not order mobile from 14001 Midlo Popeyes. 2 separate times I've placed orders and have had to wait an additional 20-30 minutes for it to be completed. Today when I went inside to check on my order, 25 min after being told to park by the drive thru window employee, the employees were rude and dismissive and tried to say they couldn't find my car. I was parked right next to the front door in a bright blue suv. After waiting 25 min for my mobile order the least they could do was be understanding and baseline polite. Love having a location closer to me. Stopped in Friday (their 2nd day open) and ordered a family meal to go. The interior of the restaurant was clean, inviting and spacious. Our only hiccup was we ordered 2 strawberry biscuits but they only had 1 left but they offered us an apple pie instead. I ordered their advertised 3 piece chicken meal for $5. I picked it up and brought it home. They must be buying peeps directly out of the shell and frying them. Never in my life have I seen fried chicken pieces that were so small! This was not my first disappointment with this store. On my last visit, I was short changed one piece of chicken. There are too many issues to discuss. Drive thru order and there was no classic chicken (550pm - standard dinner time). Ok, pull over and wait the 'six minutes'. See a guy walk out ten minutes later with a big box - I went in and it was my order. Gave me a cup for a free drink, only one soda option. Twice they offered the old spicy chicken sadly waiting to be ordered. Five people behind the counters, four standing around - one person cleaning. I was there for 32 minutes. So sad. I hope the owner sees this. It's not a lack of employees as the issue - Zero managment. Hope they can do better! read more

I was very disappointed. I had been watching the construction of Midlothian's newest Popeyes for months. I love Popeyes. When it opened, I just had to be one of the first customers. As I noted, I was disappointed. The food was not as flavorful as I had experienced at other locations, and the staff was trying to get its act together to provide quick service (I chalk this up to a new team working together). The people working there were very friendly and professional. The store was a little dirty...most likely from all of the customers and the inability of the staff to do multiple things on day one. I will visit this store again in a couple of weeks as the newness fades to see if things have improved. I really hope things get better... I like Popeyes. read more

we went to Popeyes Midlothian and ordered 2 sandwiches, the lady taking our order was very rude, we placed the order at 3:36 pm, we waited, at 4:05 we asked the status of our order, the assistant manager told us it was still being prepared, at 4:20, we asked again, they stated the order had not been fulfilled, and we finally got our 2 sandwiches at 4:27, we will not go back. I can't say enough great things about the Popeyes near Salisbury next to Publix! Camara, the manager, runs an exceptional store. I pass by other Popeyes locations just to come to this one, and it's worth every extra mile! The restaurant is always spotless, and the food is consistently hot and fresh. Tried Popeyes for the first time - and probably the last! My chicken tenders were at best 1/4 inch thick, dry and leathery. The shrimp (which we were supposed to get 8 and only got 7) were miniscule. I ordered mac & cheese and got french fries. read more

I wound up with food poisoning was very disappointed...I hate knocking it as it's fairly new but delivery was forever and I couldn't eat it... just got the two piece with biscuit and Mac n cheese... Biscuit was dry and hard and chicken tasted greasy and funny/ I threw it away.... Mac n cheese was just gross. Proceeded to get ill within 6 hrs .
