I ordered two apps that are very typical to eat with soup noodles - the woodsear mushrooms and cucumber salad. The owners are from southern China and it shows in the generous use of cilantro. I mean seriously and I love it. I choose to go with the spicy Taiwanese beef noodles as is. Let's be clear about one thing: Taiwanese cuisine is never spicy... the spiciness is a personal choice. And for this reason the "Taiwanese beef noodles" was too spicy for me. They could make it less spicy though, according to the waitress. I do wish they have pickled veggies to lower the heat. One more thing to know is that this dish comes with chunks of beef meat as well as briskets so it can be chewy. The service is good and I love the high ceilings and the old school Hong Kong street signs. It's a mishmash of regional identity, but all we care about is good eats!
