I've been coming here for a few years and it's getting to the point when the manager recognized me and you my name when I come by to pick up dinner for the family. We were all ready to submit our order, and I had a question. The disgruntled employee directed me immediately to the kiosk. I was not even able to ask a question, she was so rude. She said that the front counter register is frozen, and all orders must go through the kiosk. I explained we were ordering on the app, and I had a question. She said, "Well, IF it even goes through, because the system is down!" Well, that was enough for me to want to leave. In addition to the fact that WITH a coupon it was more than $32.00!! Once again Popeyes on hatch road does a stellar job on my big order of chicken. All my guests were very impressed on how fresh all of the fried chicken and tenders were. I have been to several Popeyes restaurants throughout California and the location on hatch is amazing when it comes to freshness and getting your order packed up correctly. I'm only giving this place 3 stars because of what I noticed. I feel for the employees, extremely hot environment and I can tell the tiredness from the heat is causing frustration but I know they're trying. Unfortunately I noticed a tiny person with glasses who's hair looked completely crazy, assuming she's a manger with the different colored shirt, is doing absolutely nothing but talking her mouth off. I did drive-thru and I literally overheard an employee talking shit about the car behind me! That had me thinking if the employee talked shit about me!? As someone who worked in customer service I'm absolutely appalled by the staff. I order in the drive thru and they send me to the front to wait and I don't mind waiting. But I waited 20 minutes to get my food just to be given the wrong food. As I try to get the girls attention she ignores me and closes the dining room at barely 7pm. I have to try to bang on the door just to get their attention and the cashier "cuts her neck" to tell us they are closed as I'm trying to explain to her I need my order she walks away. The manager begins to yells at me for banging on the door and I try to explain it's not my food. She shoves another bag in my face claiming it's my food so I go home and it wasn't what I ordered at all again. The entire staff needs to be fired or just shut down the location. read more

Ordered delivery yesterday. Chicken sandwich, fried pickles and 5 piece tenders. The chicken sandwich was great as always, the new fried pickles were good. But the chicken tenders were not edible. I've given this Popeyes multiple chances, but they consistently mess up by forgetting items in my order. Last visit, I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich combo with Cajun fries and a biscuit, plus an extra side of mac & cheese. When I got home, the mac & cheese was missing--completely left out of the bag. This isn't a one-time issue; it's happened three times in a row now. Once, they forgot my fries, and another time, they left out the biscuits for a family meal. The staff didn't seem to care when I called about the missing items, just offering a half-hearted apology and telling me to come back for a replacement. I shouldn't have to double-check my bag every time or drive back for what I paid for. The food itself is decent when they get it right, but the constant oversights make it not worth the hassle. Idk ‍ about management but they all seem to be trained by the same couple, Mr and Mrs Rudeness. I think it was the store manager that we dealt with this last time. My mom handed our receipts with survey codes and the girl asked the manager for assistance. He came over and berated us about only buying drinks for the offer on the back of the receipt. No one in the past had said anything about what we ordered or how often we used them. It's not like they are super busy and can turn away customers, but after today we have deleted our apps (which we buy from and don't get receipts from so I guess he wouldn't know we get our meals via the app). The only reason we came here was because the line at Canes was too long. It was about 15 min before closing and I understand that, however when i ordered they told me they were out of chicken? If I could give zero, I would! I placed an on line order of a 10 piece classic chicken with one large side and 4 biscuits. I customized it to receive 6 breasts, 2 thighs and 2 wings. When I got home, there were 9 pieces, 2 breasts, 4 thighs and 2 wings! The large size of mashed potatoes was in three small containers half filled! The biscuits were burnt! The chicken was inedible as it was undercooked, the mashed potatoes were not the same as the large size, 3 small half filled containers would not equal 1 large size! The biscuits weren't edible either as they were hard as rocks! I called the store and spoke to a manager. She told me that the 1 P piece was not available in what I requested. We argued about that, however, I told her I paid extra for the breasts! She then asked me what the four digit number was on the box, as I didn't get a receipt for an on line order. She said it wasn't their numbers! She asked me if I was at the right store! I told her yes! She then looked up the four digit number and found yes indeed it was from her store! She then said the only way to resolve the problem was to go on line and report a complaint! DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS POPEYES! It amazes me how Popeyes employees can't get simple orders right. We ordered our food in the drive through but we were pulled off line because the nuggets for the kids meal had a wait time of five minutes. Offline, we waited about ten minutes. I get home to feed my kids to find the tenders didn't have the sauce, the nuggets didn't have the sauces and the shrimp didn't have the cocktail sauce. Yesterday, I had a long drive....in traffic. I was driving for 9 hours - during the first half of the drive my daughter asked what my favorite fast food was. It took a minute because I do t eat much fast food - but then I realized, it's Popeyes - they are the best. Anyway, 6 hours later, I'm hungry. Where do I decide to go - Popeyes! I put it in Google and figure this location makes the most sense. There was a fairly long line in the drive through, but nothing that should be a problem. WRONG. I was in line 40 minutes before I could place my order. The line was like 6 cars long. That should not be 40 minutes. Once I placed my order it was another 15 minutes. I ordered 3 tenders and a biscuit. It was all cold and the tenders were dried out. AND they forgot my sauce. It was the worst Popeyes experience I've ever had. It was ridiculous. Coming back from a trip across the country and had to stop by a Popeyes while they were still open. Got there around 7 and got our food ordered and handed to us in 15 minutes or less. Customer service was about what you'd expect for a Popeyes; not terrible, not great. I shit you not, they might have served me the best looking and tasting sandwich I've ever had from Popeyes. I don't have a picture because I ate that John in maybe 2 minutes. Its always busy here so I don't blame the staff for taking long especially in the drive thru. They are welcoming and will attend to you as quick as they can. They always tend to forget items in the drive thru so I recommend checking before you take off without your biscuit.:( read more

The workers are so rude. The line takes up to 40 minutes. I tried asking them for sauces to my mobile order and they just ignored me. I asked them five times. Once they had ignored me so many times when they gave me my mobile order I asked them again and the girl in the drive-thru told me that each sauce is $0.16 which I didn't know because online they don't even let you put sauces in your cart. She made it seem like it was the biggest favor ever by giving me two sauces with no charge. Like if I knew I would have paid beforehand and if they would have not ignored me five times maybe I could have put in an order. Popeyes Chicken is good fried chicken. All there restaurants are basically the same with some cleaner than others. The one in Ceres could use a little more cleaning but it is passable. I walked in and ordered a family meal to go. Echo, the lady who took my order was extremely friendly and greeted me with a smile. I could swear that I'd already written a review, on my first visit. Organization is definitely not their strength. So, I've been here a couple of times. Got chicken strips the last time, and fish and shrimp this time. The food is okay--what you would expect without going into the great rating. Service at the front counter is haphazard. They smile and they mean well. They get the right change to you. Behind the front counter, and around the store, I really don't know what is happening. The tables both times were messy. The floor was messy. It didn't look as though it just happened. It looked as no one cleaned the previous night...or the morning...or the afternoon. Also, the forks and other things were not stocked. Does the manager not notice these things when he reports for his shift or, for that matter, leaves his shift? While I was there, the counter person went out to pick up trays but failed to take cleaning supplies with him, keeping the mess consistent. Oh, and on the second visit, I asked for Dirty Rice for my side item. Rather than ask what that was or perhaps he knew what it was, he selected Cajun Fries. Maybe, it was loud, but Dirty does not sound like Cajun, does it? He apologized and got me rice, even though the fries were in the bottom of the basket. I got 3 steps to pick up a fork/spork/whatever, and there was 1 knife. I picked up the container and put it on the counter. Someone else needed a fork, and so another person behind the counter got out two forks for us. The people up front are friendly. The manager should know better and having two people in back having fun while others are working just adds to the stupidity. I went in today 1/17/2024 at 11:45am and got the blackened tenders offer, all my food was fresh and hot. Whoever was making food at that time was on point; my chicken was juicy, every single item in my box was delicious and hot.
