Awful. This place always has a problem... They don't take cards that day or they are out of inventory. There is NEVER any chicken ready to go, so you must sit in your car for 20 minutes waiting for them to cook, then you only receive half of what you ordered... which comes not edible because it's hard like a rock. Rice hard Ordered sweet tea. 3 cups set on a very dirty counter with sticky syrup and previous spilled drinks and was told, we don't have anymore sweet tea. They close at 11. How long does it take to make sweet tea? Had to search for an employee. Wanted a drink holder. When I finally got the no more sweet tea girls attention from her phone, they didn't have any. My Togo order wasn't place in the normal cardboard boxes. It was in the tray you get in the store. This isn't the first time I have had issues. It's been a while since I have been. It will be much longer before I return. If I could have gotten anyone's attention at the store to complain to I would have. Unfortunately, no one gave me the time of day. read more

Service at this place is not the best. Even when they repeat the order you exactly what you wanted they still get it wrong. Correct them at the window to double check it was right again. My order was a Spicy Chicken Sandwich combo side was supposed to be mac n cheese but instead got mash potatoes and gravy. The 12pc nugget meal was correct with the biscuit. No sauces though when they said okay to giving them to us. Also, Sprite and Sweet Tea tasted watery and gross so no drinking those. Not coming here again... Another note, I can't find the survey number on the receipt. I don't know if it was intentional or what, but looks like they cut the number off. Arrived at this location at 9pm. Doors unlocked. Go in start placing order. They tell us it will have to be to go because the inside is closing although there are people eating in the dining area. We ask for chicken nuggets, they don't have it...only strips or bone in. Then no fish sandwich although the sign by the cash register, big as day said fish sandwich. Then no chicken sandwich but they deliver two to the drive thru. We ask for Ranch and they said they were out and no ketchup either. So now to my order, we ordered spicy chicken strips and got mild. The wings looked like they had cut the meat off. So tiny. The staff had an unfriendly attitude. We arrived at 9pm, per the internet they don't close until 10pm. I should have checked reviews first before even attempting to get a "fast meal". 40 minutes past the order being ready we were still waiting and were told "oh another 10 minutes" It was a mobile order. It was simple. I ordered 20 minutes before I arrived and was told there would be more waiting. The drive through line was almost out into the street. Multiple people came in after us, asked about the wait time, and then walked out or canceled their mobile orders after hearing how long we were waiting. We left with food! I don't know what's going on with these other critics here, but my Popeye's experience was stellar awesome! The food was hot, delicious, and prepared quickly at about 11:40am, as a take out from the counter. I had the 3 piece spicey tenders dinner mashed taters & Cajun gravy (all awesome hot delicious) and the wife had the 2 piece mild white combo fries & red beans rice single add-on (again awesome she said). The restaurant was bright & clean, the employees were clean/uniformed & nice, and the whole walk-in experience was like arriving at a palace for dinner! Sounds overly dramatized, but it was everything you'd expect from what you might want, as if the old quality days had returned. I have ordered to-go a few times these past few months. My encounters were the same each time. Staff is friendly. Drive thru moves fairly quickly. The chicken parts are tiny and not plump. Taste is good. The mashed potato cup is always 3/4 full and a minute amount of gravy. When I ask for gravy on the side - they half filled the cup! Lastly, the biscuit always seems dried out. The quantity of chicken keeps getting smaller. you used to get the equivalency of a chicken breast when you ordered a three piece tender dinner, not the case anymore. You keep raising prices and keep lowering quantities. I'm not stupid, you're not even giving away $.10 worth of cabbage with your coleslaw. there are other Popeyes stores that still give you a container full of coleslaw as they should. Only place I know you can go spend nine dollars on a miniature chicken dinner and still not be satisfied when you're finished. Popeyes is one of those places where the quality can be really bad depending on the location. However, that wasn't the case for me today. Everything was phenomenal from the chicken, fries, and the biscuit. The service was very attentive as well. The man that took my order in the drive thru got everything correct without me having to repeat anything, nor did he try to talk over me while ordering as some places do. Popeye's has redefined "Chicken Breast"! I've been a fan of Popeye's chicken for probably 30 years. I absolutely loved their spicy, juicy chicken breast and still love their mash potatoes and gravy and red beans and rice. For many years I have "upcharged" to get the "all breast" chicken, which was two big delicious, juicy chicken breast, cut up just the way Momma used to. Sometime in the last year, I've notice the breast seem to have less meat on them, and were dry, not juicy. I'm pretty sure that some MBA in corporate figured out a way to get more than two breasts from a chicken, with a little creative butchering. Guys, if you're hurting for money, raise the upcharge a bit. Prices go up. That's life. Quality going down... You may have already lost me... read more
