Came here for lunch, we've been hearing good things and decided to give it a try. The service was decent, family friendly. I asked a few questions about the menu & drinks and the server was not knowledgeable. She had to go ask to get me answer, no problem, we figured she was new. Food was good, but nothing outside a typical chain restaurant. The best I can describe it is if Olive garden and a mom & pop Italian restaurant had a baby, this would be it. Is it good? Yes. Is it homemade sauces and family recipes? No The alcoholic drinks are good and price point matches other establishments in the area. Will I be back? Yes Will this be one of my "Go To's"? Nah. Why 4 stars? Because everything was perfectly fine at a great price. --- --- --- My in-laws live nearby and we all love Italian food, so we were stalking the opening of Napoli's, but I had kind of forgotten about it. When they offered to take us out for Italian for our anniversary, I immediately remembered Napoli's and I'm glad I did. One thing that really jumped out to me is that the prices are very reasonable and do not feel like everything else in 2025. The most expensive item on the food menu is $29.99. There are some pricey wine bottles, but food wise, everything is under 30 bucks and that's hard to find these days. We started off with a couple appetizers: Fried Cheese: 3-stars. There wasn't much to these. I like fried cheese but wouldn't need to order these again. Bruschetta: 4-stars. A solid edition. And then onto the main courses: Steak Marsala: 3-stars. Remember how I mentioned the most expensive item was $29.99? I had to try it, and to be honest, it was pretty much what you would expect for the price point. It was a thin steak that was cooked significantly more than the medium rare. It also tasted like it had no seasoning until I added a little salt. I enjoyed the angel hair pasta/marsala fine enough, but the steak was not something I'd need to order again. But again, for the price point, I wasn't expecting much more than this. Had I ordered this at a nicer steakhouse, it definitely would have been a 1-star. Italian Trio: 4-stars. The wife ordered this, and in addition to it being like $23, it was also an absolutely massive portion. I thought everything was enjoyable on this plate and I would happily order this again if we were to return. We arrived at 5pm and there weren't too many people in the restaurant, but by the time we were done, the place was packed. I'm glad Montgomery is supporting a local business, but my main piece of feedback is: up the price of the steak marsala if you have to - people should be willing to pay a bit more for higher quality. read more

When you enter the staff all say hi and is SUPER welcoming. The pizza is absolutely amazing (brick oven) crust - without being too thick or too thin. I got to the Greek one on this visit. I also had the seafood combo which is a good portion that was not able to finish. The sauce is rich tasty and they don't skimp out on the seafood. The hot bread stole my heart with the rich garlic and olive oil mixture for dipping. My husband had a pizza and he said it was excellent with lots of flavor. Server was excellent, but the food was below subpar. Will not be returning. My sister and I visited, we were told multiple items were made in house. It was very obvious that a majority of the items were indeed Not made in house. Alfredo sauce was bland and watery, the lasagna tasted like canned tomatoes. The bruschetta was alright, but not for the price nor the size portions, and the bread was at least over a day old. The tomato basil soup also tasted like it had been canned. Quite a letdown. They've done what they can with the interior, but it seems to have been a slightly rushed effort to get open, retaining many of the rustic qualities from the previous barbecue joint. Not knocking off any points from there, just something that they will have an opportunity to improve as time goes on. Hopefully they will also improve on their recipes. I don't know if it was a manager of the place or what who came over to speak to me and my sister, but he seemed quite offended that we did not like the food. First time in the restaurant and the decor was very nice - greeted right away by smiling and cheerful maître d' and seated right away. The restaurant was almost empty with just two tables occupied. The menu featured quite a variety of Italian food but I opted not to get spaghetti which I know if it is good everything else probably is too. I ordered the chicken Marsala with mushrooms only to find out the chicken is $2.99 extra. The dish was already $13.99 so I didn't get the chicken. It took a very long time to cook the noodles and mushrooms but it tasted good. Just not worth the price. Based on that I wouldn't recommend it if you want a good value. read more

This was the second time I visited Napoli, the first time was shortly after they opened and I loved the opportunity to try so many different types of sauces. Today was an exceptional experience, the service was spectacular, the food was amazing. Starting with the bread and herbed olive oil (outstanding). The salad was very good, and if you like blue cheese dressing theirs is on point. I had the Diana sauce with fettuccine noodles . The is similar to a Vodka sauce (however they use sherry instead Vodka, it's a bit smoother)with artichoke hearts and mushrooms. I added Italian sausage it was fantastic and such a large portion that I took 2/3rds of it home. I finished with a house made Tiramisu and a delicious latte. I highly recommend this for authentic and unique Italian food and friendly and efficient service, and great prices! We are lucky to have them so close! read more

Napoli's Italian Grill delivered an excellent dining experience. The meal started strong with their warm bread and delicious dip--incredibly flavorful. Both the chicken Parmesan and veal Parmesan were outstanding. Portion sizes overall were generous, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. The wait staff was attentive throughout the meal, striking that perfect balance of being present without hovering. I also tried the Moscow Mule, which was refreshing and well-made. Overall, Napoli's exceeded expectations for a brand new restaurant (opened within the past 5 months). Great food, great service, great value. I would definitely go back. read more

The pizza was the biggest improvement, tastier crust, spicier sauce, and ample toppings this time. Still a noisy interior but not as bad as the first visit. I want to thank the owner, manager, and staff for taking such good care of us for 8 Sundays after our long weekends of working out at the Texas Renaissance Festival. The first 4 weekends we would arrive at close to 8:30 PM, as they were one of the only places open in our little town until 9:00 PM. They were happy to see us and to serve us. Attitudes were delightful and the dining facility clean. Food cooked wonderfully and tasted great. Even when our group stayed past 9:00 PM, they never rushed us or indicated they were closing. The food is more than you can eat on one plate, we always took our leftovers home, they are very good to eat the next day. The buns with garlic on top and the oil were warm and scrumptious.
