Decided to try Popeyes LK but we'll never come back to this location. We ordered but the order wasn't ready at all. I waited literally almost half hour to get our food meanwhile the place was empty. (See photos). Couldn't believe that a fast food restaurant didn't have food ready to serve. Completely ridiculous. Upon trying the chicken, the chicken was very good but the service here at this location is atrocious. We'll likely try another location. Highly don't recommend this location.

Food is good, but completely overpriced. $40 for 16 piece chicken tender meal, $30 for 12 pieces!? Welcome to crazy town. With better pricing we might return. $40 gets you a lot more food at other places. Can't imagine paying $40 for 4 Burgers, 2 Large sides and 5 buttered rolls

The black cashier lady with short stuby hair was so disrespectful and rude. She keep the food behind the counter after telling me to pull over when she served everyone else. Im not a bitter person and never make a review but I want to say that she should not be working here at all. I will never ever come here again. Im not surprised with her bad attitude due to where she works at her big age. I hope she gets her karma and i will never come here or let my family come here again.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. Cleanliness is horrible, rude employees, and food is a little suspicious. Employees don't care if you are standing their for over 10 minutes to get your order places. I know that you are desperate for employees management, but come on don't grab just anyone who comes knocking at your doors. This is how you lose customers. Obviously these employees don't care, you can do better

I know it's technically fast food, but it definitely feels a tier above the usual spots, especially since they offer healthier options like grilled chicken instead of just fried food. The entire experience was incredibly smooth. I ordered and paid ahead of time using their mobile app. As soon as I pulled up, the app had me confirm I was on-site, immediately gave me an accurate ETA, and clearly directed me on where to go pick up my meal. The food itself was fantastic. I got the grilled chicken club sandwich, a side of fries, and their hibiscus lemonade--everything was fresh and delicious. What really blew me away, though, was the actual restaurant environment. The dining area is spacious, impeccably clean, and flooded with tons of great natural light. They even have fresh flowers on every single table, which is such a nice, unexpected touch for a quick-service spot. Service here is top-notch. The staff is consistently friendly, but there's one elderly woman working the floor who really stood out. On two separate occasions now, she's come over and kindly offered to clear my table for me. I love that this location employs seniors, and she honestly looked genuinely happy to be there. It really says a lot about the positive culture management has built. Quick Tip if you're driving: There is plenty of parking, but try to avoid the spaces right up front. A lot of the third-party food delivery drivers tend to just dump their cars along the curb instead of pulling into an actual spot, which can easily block you in while they wait for their orders. It's pretty frustrating, especially if you're on a tight schedule trying to get back to the office!

The chicken sandwiches were pretty good. The chicken was nicely seasoned-could use a touch more, the veggies were fresh, the bread (potato bun) was really good. It held the sandwich all the way through and didn't break up. I got mine medium so it wasnt too spicy, but overall was cool. The chicken tenders were for my kid- he got them country (no spice). The chicken was solid- same as the Sandos, it could use a bit more seasoning but overall decent chicken. My biggest gripe was the wait and the fries. It took quite a while for my order to be ready and the restaurant wasn't that crowded. Maybe 4 people in the store and possibly a car in drive-thru lane. Yet, when we received the fries they were cold. I went back in and the team was nice enough to provide newer fries and they were warmer, but not much better. My last issue was the sheer amount of fries provided. There are so few given to the customers. When you look at the pictures on the site they show a healthy amount of fries, but what was provided in the order didn't even scratch that surface. I didn't take pics of the fries-too underwhelmed, but... Please do better.

They didn't have chicken ready, so I had to wait a few minutes for fresh ones, which was not a problem. Once my food was ready, they brought it to my table. My mild code bites were nicely spiced and the chicken was cooked perfectly and moist. I didn't love the spice coating because I thought it was too dry. I did like the sauce. The next time I think I'll get "country" style, without the spice dust. The real standout here was the side of Mac & cheese. The twisty elbow pasta held a lot of that amazing cheese sauce. The employees were super friendly and polite.

I started out with a veggie burger. I always get this burger with a side of avocado cream sauce because it's a game changer. This sauce tases amazing with the veggie patty. Randomly, they have a Japanese side dish of pickled vegetables (tsukemono) and they have a sharp, gingery flavor that I love. I also got their BLT Ranch Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which was equally delicious, although they could've put a little more ranch on it. I paired that with their onion rings which were crispy and satisfying. I dipped them in my leftover avocado sauce as well. This restaurant has been a staple of the community for a long time by consistently using high quality ingredients to make incredible food. I had read some suspiciously positive reviews about Dairy King on Yelp, and ordered a cheeseburger and fries. I get that generations of Norwalkers and others have fond memories of their time here, and it was with that fact in mind that I ignored my intuition and entered the outdated, near-empty facade just after noon. For the new and unititiated, a word of admonition: do not let your senses fool you. Dairy King looks like a dive, and tastes like a dive, and not in any delicious way. I get that going pretty much anywhere for ice cream on a hot summer day is fun. What I do not get are comments here asserting that Dairy King's food, particularly their burgers are anything more than mediocre, studiously average at best, and a dubious step up over major chains. To all who will, in the the romantic twilight after Little League games or movies, arrive at Dairy King hungry and ready and willing to scarf down just about anything, I hope for your sake that good experiences continue, that fine memories of family and friends are created and then savored in the hopefully delicious silence of your unfolding life. But for me Dairy King is far behind even the middle of the pack in it's chosen catagory, my days of eating "just about anything" are well behind me, and Dairy King will have to take it the rest of the way without me, at least until the day the real estate developers lean on City Hall to condemn that section of Main Avenue (under a phonied-up interpretation of the eminent domain statutes) and Dairy King inevitably (and blessedly) falls to the wrecking ball, destined to become mixed-use retail with residential up above.

"I'll go back to the diner I'll write another letter…read moreI hope you'll read it this time" (Billie Eilish) I kind of laughed when our server brought over our menus. They were in a heavy book (reminded me of a high school yearbook) with six pages of choices plus an insert of daily specials. Post Road is the kind of diner that diner lovers dream of. Their menu is an embarrassment of riches and would seamlessly fit in alongside anything you would find on the Sunrise Highway on Long Island or on Route 17 in New Jersey. Three of us walked in around 11:30am today, and our first order of business was deciding if we'd go for lunch or breakfast food. We all went for breakfast plates- pancakes ($9.99) with a side of scrambled eggs ($2.99), GF Pancakes ($12.98), and for me a "Protein Breakfast" ($13.99) and a coffee ($3.49). So, I'm sure you're asking, "what on earth is a protein breakfast?' Well, it was four egg whites, a few gorgeous tomato slices, and a nice piece of grilled chicken. It was pretty filling and everything tasted great. Our server was efficient and professional and swiftly brought over a "to go" box for the excess of those enormous pancakes. The dining room is awesome, a real throwback to the 1950's with plenty of old-time booths, art deco neon signs, checkerboard ceramic tile, and music\entertainment\pop culture images everywhere. Even the free chips and salsa they start you with are memorable: the chips are fresh and super crunchy, and the salsa has real depth of flavor, not just heat. The entrées are some of the best value around, the burritos are massive (one could easily feed two or three people), and for takeout, the quesadillas literally come in a pizza box, which tells you everything you need to know about portion size.
