Was able to order on the app this time. Glad to see it's finally working. The bad- Another company definitely leaning into the shrink-flation!!! Each chicken finger was 1/4 the size they were in 2020. Quality was definitely not there. The bone Inn seemed old. The chicken fingers were overcooked and super hard, one side of our fries was fresh and the other one was definitely old. We were missing fries, but they were willing to fix it and upgraded the size. The biscuits were good, but they didn't include butter or honey, and did not offer it. We were given the appropriate number of sauces this time. The good - this location has the sweet tea. Which is sometimes available. Used to be one of my favorite fast food places, but the Utah location is just... Lacking. Corporate, if you see this, can you please work on raising this location to the standard of Popeyes? Please!!! read more

Pre ordered food on website which says you can pick up at window but upon arrival the said we had to come in which is fine but the laziness of not being Willing to hand it through the window is ridiculous especially because it said come to the window or inside. I love Popeyes but hate this location. I would rather drive to a different city/state than eat at Popeyes in South Ogden. I tried it again today and was left beyond frustrated. After sitting for 30 minutes, I approached the counter, only to realize that my paid order had not been processed - without an apology from the manager, or so much as an effort to make amends. Father's Day dinner with my Son and Granddaughter. Seemed to be short staffed. I had chicken Strips, son had wings, Granddaughter had a chicken sandwich. It's sad that it has come to this!! I used to live to go to Popeyes for their Spicy Chicken, either strips or pieces of chicken but, as a franchise they have really fallen in quality and quantity, especially compared to all the competition!! This place is extremely poorly managed to say the least. Not only were the workers NOT customer-service oriented, but they got my order wrong and they have a STRONG message on display for customers while we wait in the drivethru. This attitude Carrie's over into their order fulfillment and interaction with Customers, as they continued to kick 3 other customers out of their lobby while I waited, saying they couldn't serve them because they're understaffed. But being understaffed might not be a problem for them for long since I can't imagine customers continuing to give this place money with this kind of service. A point of fact for PopEyes: Last I checked customers are actually entitled to something; what they pay for. It's clear POPEYES doesn't value the very thing that give them a reason to be in business, their customers, so I'll go elsewhere from now on; dually noted. I am extremely disappointed in Popeyes restaurants. It's been a while since my last visit to another restaurant due to poor service but this place is the WORST! I ordered the shrimp tackle box and the only thing in my order that was edible was the mashed potatoes. The shrimp were cold and burnt, the fries were cold and hard and the biscuit was cold. I also ordered a large coleslaw and large red beans and specifically asked for no rice. The coleslaw had an off taste and smell and my red beans was a container full of rice. We were in town helping move someone and craving some chicken. Another nearby chain chicken place had waaay too long of a wait so we elected Popeyes. We ordered through the drive-thru with a short wait of several cars. The drive through speaker was clear and the menu board easy to read. The lady working the drive thru window was super friendly and definitely made the experience welcoming. Our chicken was fresh and hot (I had a chicken tender meal with Cole-slaw) and my Diet Coke had great flavor and bubbles. Overall a great experience. read more

I have visited this Popeyes quite a bit in the past, though not recently until today. I remember my past experiences being positive. They were all drive thru, but the wait was always reasonable and the food always as expected. Today, the service was kind. The food was good. We waited close to half an hour for our food though. Yes, it was dine-in so a little slower is to be expected, but half an hour was unreasonable. The food wasn't as fresh as we would've liked for that long of a wait. I read a review below stating that this Popeyes doesn't focus on customer service... that is relevant because I did find myself thinking "this restaurant is not operated in a customer-centric manner" whilst observing and waiting for our food. The manager that took our order, while kind, was on a video call on her cell phone the whole time through the person who ordered before us and during our ordering. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, I assume it was a manager's/business meeting of some sort. As a management professional, myself, I know that is the only way I would be on my cell phone (especially video) while helping any clients. In terms of the ambiance of the restaurant, it's your standard Popeyes. This location did feel cleaner than average, so that's a positive. read more

We then waited in the drive through for 10 minutes and were told it would be a couple more minutes and to pull around to the front and wait. We waited 10 more minutes and went inside to see what was going on. The manager said they thought the chicken was dropped in the fryer, but in fact it was not. After being pissy due to substandard food and service at a number of other locations, I swore off this chain for a while, needing a good, hard reset, with the hope they would do (much) better when I finally returned. This is, to my knowledge, the newest location and it was definitely shiny and clean inside. They did a solid job with the food, Cajun strips were juicy, fries were hot and crisp, though perhaps a touch on the slow side and reminded me of what visits to this place could and should be like. I'm from the south. I grew up on Popeyes. This is definitely not the same as in the great state of Mississippi. Not only is the chicken bland and greasy but not one time have I ever gone there and my order be right. If you are really into surprises or not getting what you want this is the place for you!!! One time I ordered a 12 piece spicy all dark meat with red beans and rice, and dirty rice. When I got home it was a box of mild wings and two boxes of french fries!!!! Today I ordered a fish box with hot sauce , French fries and red beans and rice. Open the bag and they actually got the first part right but beside the face was four packs of honey two tubs of tartar sauce a biscuit and some mashed potatoes and gravy.
