HAD TO MAKE THIS SO THE CORPORATE OFFICE WOULD TAKE MY COMPLAINT ONLINE DUE TO I DID NOT GET A RECIEPT.

I was close to this Popeye's at 3300 Pelham Parkway in Pelham, Alabama during a recent doctors visit and stopped. I ordered the 18 piece family meal with 2 mash potatoes with gravy and 1 Cole Slaw. Also ordered a #1 with NO MAYO. Had to say my order twice also told the lady when I got to the window make sure there is NO MAYO on that sandwich. She said ok..... I know there were only abt 3 people in the store, so I said take your time. I get on the interstate to go back to Tuscaloosa where I live and pulled out my sandwich to eat and guess what.... It HAD MAYO... Get home and I only have 1 mash potatoes and gravy...... How many f***** times do have to repeat an order when they are taking 1 car at a time through the drive thru....... Plus THE KICKER IS SHE DIDN'T GIVE ME MY RECIEPT........ Tried several times to call and no one would answer the phone....... SUCKY A** STORE...... update finally got a hold of someone at the store she said she was the manager, she said we were short some workers, and I know that's not your problem, I stopped her and let her know that I told the lady to take her time don't rush. Anyways next time I am in the Pelham area she told me to come by and she would make it right.

This was not a good experience. Had to wait 15 mins on biscuits. The chicken was cold and hard. The store was nasty. Not clean at all. They had trash spread all over counter where you place order and pay. The sink where they were washing their hands was broken so it was continuously running to the point the sink was overflowing onto the floor causing the entire restaurant floor to be full of water. HORRIBLE!

Since my last review in 2018, I have ordered from here maybe 2 or 3 times. Customer service and food, decent. However, on this last visit, customer service and the food exceeded my expectations. Drive-thru only and the young lady taking the order was extremely nice and made sure to have my wings changed to spicy as I forgot to mention while ordering. The chicken was fresh. The mashed potatoes with gravy had an odd texture but still edible and I even ate half the biscuit with honey, rare. Normally, I don't ask for condiments or silverware if I am going home, this time no different but if I wanted to pull over and eat, I had everything I needed in the bag. 4 stars all around. Not sure when I will be back but here's to hoping for the same or better customer service and food in the future.

The things I do and endure for a Popeye's biscuit! Sigh. I've been to this location multiple times and one thing is definitely consistent--the lackluster customer service. On today, a friend of mine and I decided to head over to Popeye's. I mentally prepared myself to deal with the lethargy I would deal with when I'm there, but it still doesn't make it any easier. My friend and I entered and we were greeted. However, the cashier soon showed her true colors when my friend asked her about the coupon she had. She answered the question rather rudely with a manager standing right there. Then, the cashier seemed to be having an issue with ringing up the order with the coupon so my friend showed her the coupon on the phone again and she responds that she had seen it. When I ordered, I also used a coupon, but I had another item I wanted to order that wasn't covered by the coupon. The cashier brashly tells me I can't order the additional item if I wanted to use a coupon. She said I'd have to do two separate orders. I told her that was fine with me. The whole interaction left much to be desired. I really wish they'd open up a Popeye's closer to me and I wish that management required more from their employees. Will I be back? Who knows. Depends on how badly I want a biscuit I guess.

While traveling down to Pensacola, my mother and I stopped for a quick pit stop and decided to finally try the new popeyes chicken sandwich. We each ordered the spicy sandwich meal with fries and drink. The drive thru like was a little long but that was expected since the pandemic has closed the inside dining area. When we received our sandwiches they were very hot and fresh! The bun was delicious and had the perfect amount of spicy mayo, which packed some heat! The pickles were the perfect compliment to the chicken. The chicken was crunchy and juicy. Popeyes French fries are for sure under rated, they have great flavor and are some of my favorite fast food French fries. I am going to say that do prefer the popeyes chicken sandwhich over Chick-fil-A's! Definitely order the spicy, if you are worried about it being too hot I would ask for less mayo.

Their wait is horrendous by fast-food standards, but they remain the best friend chicken in the fast-food market. I personally believe that Chick-Fil-A is very overrated. McDonald's Buttermilk Crispy Chicken sandwich and KFC are, in my opinion, the second-best fried chicken options in the fast-food arena. At Popeye's, you are coming for fried chicken. Their fries are mediocre, their biscuits are so dense you might choke eating one, and their sauces are not great. If you want great fried chicken for a good price, Popeye's will deliver. Classic Chicken Sandwich (5/5): I think this is the best friend chicken sandwich you can get at a fast-food restaurant. Their breast is massive and meaty. Their batter is crispy and perfectly cooked throughout. Chick Fil A offers a smaller breast, a deflated bun, and no crispiness in their batter. Popeye's defeats the competition by giving customers a better tasting and larger chicken sandwich. Chicken Combo (2 pieces) (4/5): Their chicken is very crispy, but the meat is not the most tender. I wish the batter was slightly thicker, but nonetheless, it is good. Popeye's doesn't rival local options such as Gus's and Eugene's, but it is still great! If you are on the road and you are craving fried chicken, I would recommend Popeye's over KFC and all others!

If you look at the picture of the Big Jack hamburger on the display menu you need to lower your expectations about 50%. They need to change the name, from Big Jack to Just Jack. Nothing big about it other than a bunch of bread. When I walked in and went to the register to order my food, there was no one in front of me in the line. It took slightly over eight minutes for someone to take my order. Person really never spoke to me, but just stared at me and waited for me to tell her my order. She did tell me how much I owed. As for ambience, I ended up taking my food to go because ordering my food and getting my food took a long time. I'm in that area every Sunday but have never been to that Jack's location. Thought I would try it. For me that visit was disappointing. I did like the mashed potatoes and gravy though.

The dining area is nicer than your typical fast-food place. It's nice that they deocrate it for the holidays, too. They were pretty busy, so not all of the tables had been wiped down, but we found one that worked. We did have to ask for napkins as the dispenser was empty. (We've since been back around the same time of day, and all the tables were clean and the napkins stocked.) Pretty good burger for the deal if you use their app. I also like that you can get a less-fastfoodish option of chicken and veggies if you want.

I usually overlook it, but sometimes it's hard when they've gotten the order wrong, and you can only think they weren't really listening to the order. They are pretty good about having teenage workers, and a lot of times the drive thru team member seems about that age, so perhaps they will learn with experience. The food is alright for dinner; I'm not the greatest fan of the change to a potato bun or whatever it is that Jack's made in the last year or so. The "new" buns seem way too bready, and usually a bit dry; tends to overwhelm the burger. They make their milkshakes with real ice cream, so it's nice to have a hand-dipped shake instead of some mix-made shake at the competitors. Also, if you ever have the opportunity to try their blueberry fried pie when they're offered for a limited time--do it. Also pretty tasty. Their breakfasts are the real star at Jack's. Only concern was I asked for Champy's sauce with the tender basket, looked at it in the parking lot and noticed it looked like their honey mustard instead. Tried it, confirmed it tasted like honey mustard, then went inside with my receipt asking for it to be switched for Champy's sauce. Spoke to a waitress (not the one who helped us at drive thru) and I explained that I wanted Champy's sauce. She said "uh huh" confused and I held up what I had saying it tasted like honey mustard. She said yes Champy's sauce is honey mustard based. I told her I've been to (and worked as a teenager) at Champy's before in Tennessee and the color was more yellow than the orange I'm used to (like they added too much honey mustard) and again it tasted exactly like honey mustard. She explained that the Champy's sauce (and red heat) recipe was different at their location. I took her answer and left. Not sure if I indeed had honey mustard (they come in the same containers) and she didn't want to double check or if their Champy's sauce recipe really is just primarily honey mustard. I think the people of Alabama are missing out though on the champys sauce from the original location in Chattanooga, not sure why there is so much variation between locations. Other than that, everything was great!
