Ordered the popcorn shrimp, when I paid for it I saw the menu inside where they had 3 piece chicken for $5.00. I asked to order it and the attendant said I need to go back through the line which made no sense what so ever. The shrimp was cold and much more batter than shrimp. I had horrible service today. The food I ordered was incorrect. Their wasn't chicken choices ready, it was cold. The French fries were bold and the coleslaw was old. The manager hung up on me and was very rude and disrespectful. My experience was horrible! This occurred on September 12,2024 at around 5:30pm. Before I left I asked is everything in my bag? The lady yes. Well it wasn't. I spent $15 and some change. This is not the first time my family had a bad experience. This is unacceptable for a suburb in my opinion! 2nd time food is horrible, I tried the so called honey barbecue wings. They were over cooked. They poured barbecue sauce on some of the wings. I didn't know the wings were spicy , I can't have it. I made several attempts to call 380-228-2046, it rings busy & hangs up. I looked the number up the same number from the receipt. I waisted $23.62 for this nasty terrible hard over cooked food. The Pickerington, Ohio Popeyes just can't seem to get our orders correct. The first time they had opened recently and everything was chaos, okay that's to be expected. So we waiting a few months to try again and our orders were no where close and the wait was 30+ minutes. We waited a good long time before finally trying again and I was hopeful when I saw the short line was moving fast. I could see the person putting together my wife's order was getting it right (even though the chicken breast was the size of a small thigh). Saw my fish sandwich bag go in with everything else and left. There's nothing worse than looking forward to a Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich and getting a mild, cold chicken sandwich instead. Dont ever come to this store. I placed my order online for like an hour. First they couldn't find my order. The store manager was so rude and aggressive. 5 piece chicken tenders with Cajun fries, and we got 3 of those combos, so I'm not sure why our drive-thru order was such a conundrum for the workers. Both my tenders and Cajun fries where lukewarm, so they'd obviously been sitting out. Their chicken breading is apparently much lighter and airier than, say, Canes, and it was lighter, but not by any prominence. The price to meal ratio was somewhat questioning, so I'm not planning to stop back anytime soon. read more

Ordered chicken on the mobile app. Arrived at the restaurant and was told they were out of coleslaw. No apology just asked what other side I wanted in place of coleslaw. No big deal I'm not expecting great things out of fast food employees. I waited a few minutes longer and they gave me my order. Was so excited to get a Popeyes chicken in Pickerington! I love their classic chicken sandwiches that I got at the Canal Winchester location before ours opened. Wish I could say our location was as good. But uh, no. Chicken sandwiches aren't too bad , but the fries and chicken breasts are terrible. Hard as a rock, cold fries. Breading on chicken breast was so dry my husband just peeled it off and ate the so,so chicken underneath. Service was good, employees pleasant, cooks- not so great! read more

The poor food quality and preparation of the food does not match the price. I spent $30 and the best part of the meal was the fries. The food was fried too hard and the drinks taste like sparkling water not Sprite. I do not recommend. It's amazing how quickly a newly opened establishment can go downhill in quality so fast. read more

Visited this Pickerington location on 7/16/23 at 7:23pm, was ignored by the staff, waited around for 10mins no one bothered to attend to me even though they saw me, they continued gossiping and using foul language. Another customer came in a few minutes later, the staff kept ignoring us and then 2 minutes later after the other customer came someone came and asked if she was door dash she said no and that she made her order online, he asked for her name which she gave and he went back to get her food, didn't offer me any assistance at all. Well there other businesses I can go spend my money at ok It's sad because Popeye has a good reputation but these kids working there have no work ethics and have no manners at all. Please retrain them or hire more educated staff. read more

Went to the store at 3:10 and they were out of wings and legs, we were told they weren't going to be doing anymore for the day. the store doesn't close until 10:00 and you aren't dropping anymore chicken!! we ordered our meals after standing and waiting for 4 minutes. our food ( chicken) was dry and cold. not good at all. the employees we're not helpful and ignored me multiple times. i actually had to go through a door for employees only to get help. we eat at Popeyes chicken all the time. we will never go to this one again! read more
