I had a day off with my wife, and had always made it a point to swing by here so thought we'd stop by and check it out. I'm not going to completely bash, because for one this place is hip, no question. This place is clean, the restrooms were very clean, and that is something unfortunately some establishments struggle with. The service was great, very friendly and very prompt. What got me is the prices set for these little sliders. Ouch! I'm not going to place the prices on here but c'mon, give us some slack on the price gouging. This is a huge deterrent for me, snd almost makes the food taste a certain way, even knowing it may me a 2 star Michelin chef in the back grill. Again the price is what threw me for a negative loop, was it bad, no. Was this overpriced like most bar n grills, well absolutely it is! Our server Nate was awesome -- friendly, professional, and really on top of things. We ordered three appetizers (nachos, tots with pulled pork, and fried pickles), and everything was delicious! A friend of mine suggested this place. It is located inside of a strip mall. The inside of restaurant is clean and open with several tables and a long bar towards the back. Tiny spot with a good vibe and a killer Bloody Mary. Brunch had all the things. Salad, eggs or sliders. The kids menu was a good price and the tots portion was enough to share. The waitress was adorably friendly and the music was a cute throwback. My only issue was with the outlaw salad... I was given the option of grilled chicken vs fried chicken but it was nearly non existent for a $3 surcharge. And there were more fixens on drink then inside the salad. It was pretty much just a bucket of spring mix and I went on a scavenger hunt to find the black beans, tortilla chips and corn salsa. Also the cilantro ranch tasted more like dill? I was looking for something different and my wife and I were not disappointed. The moment we walked in Amber greeted us with a great smile and wonderful attitude. Being around her would have been enough even if the food were terrible. She made my wife's day which of course made mine. They have sliders of all kinds. I really loved that you could pick three different sliders. I did just that and actually have a new favorite the Californication. We also ordered the fries. I ate two sliders and really struggled with the third I was absolutely full. The food was amazing. Obviously it wasn't thrown together and as we suspected the majority was homemade. We live an hour and a half away and just happened to stumble upon this restaurant. We both agree we will definitely be back it would be worth the trip. We genuinely love the food here, and been loyal customers for years which makes this experience even more disappointing. The seating policy really needs an overhaul. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait despite there being an open booth in the back. When we asked about it, we were told that table is only for parties of five, so the two of us couldn't be seated even though it sat empty. Hard to believe they would turn down revenue. Because the wait seemed much longer than quoted, we ended up going to a chain restaurant instead. Ironically, we were halfway through our meal when we finally got a call saying our table was ready which was 40 minutes later. Great food, but the rigid seating policy and inaccurate wait times make it hard to justify coming back. read more

I love Sliders! My Bud Bud and I were working in Pickerington and Yelped Local restaurants, and Hangry City Grille popped up. We've never been there so we were off to see the Wizard. Parking is more than adequate and the place has a very chill local brewery vibe to it. We sat at the bar and Devin greeted us promptly. She ordered the 2 Sliders and Parmesan Herb fries, I ordered 3 sliders (Oinky) and tater tots. We also ordered the premium margaritas. The Margaritas were INSANE. Devin made everything from scratch, squeezing multiple limes in front of us to verify this was the real deal. I'm talking the perfect blend of taste and effectiveness. One of the best I've had (including Cozumel). The sliders came out in the right amount of time. We tried 5 different sliders: She had the Ron Swanson and the Pennsatuky. She raved about the fried pickles and the Hangry sauce (similar to Cane's). She did say the bacon was a little too crunchy. The Parmesan Herb fries were equally as delicious. I had The Bluto, a sinful combination of whisky glazed beef, bacon (oinky), Guinness Caramelized onions, Gruyere AND Blue Cheese (are you kidding?!). 2 bites. Gone. Next. The Monroe was up. Sweet Smokey BBQ sauce, tender pork, jalapeño slaw (perfect heat), blue cheese and garlic aioli. Double oinky. 2 1/2 bites. Deep breath. Next. The unexpected was the Scuba Steve! A generous thick portion of fish, Panko crusted and cooked perfectly, Jalapeño slaw and Tartar sauce. Crunchy to the last bite, the best mini fish sandwich I've ever had. Devin suggested getting it or else I wouldn't have even looked at it. So I love tater tots. These were super crispy till the last tot, but felt a little greasy towards the end. Incredible but my Gall bladder said get the fries next time. The total with 4 margaritas ‍ was $68.32 plus tip. Honestly the quality was better than expected, the service was on point, and the drinks were amazing. We decided to try the cheese fries. The fries were great but the cheese on top wasn't that good. For my meal I tried their hamburger special that had peanut butter on it. It was the first time I've ever tried a burger with peanut butter and it was really good. My 12 year old son loved it more than his plain burger. I also ordered the fried chicken Pensatucky sandwich with the fried pickle. It was a bit cold but the breading was great. I would definitely come back here. My kids enjoyed it. read more

Could eat them without the sauce but the sauce is good too. I had the Danny and the pennsatucky. Both were really good, the fried chicken was a smidge too fried but with the toppings in the same bite as the chicken, it's fine. The chicken alone is a little over fried. Updated review- Brunch. Tried this place for brunch, which was disappointing. I ordered the biscuits and gravy along with the J.Chance. It was a take on chicken and waffles, but the waffles were deep fried. It was overly greasy and tasted like pure grease. Avoid this one. The biscuits were dry and dense, the gravy was thin and watery. Overall I will stick to lunch and dinner here as I find that fantastic! read more

Poor quality, poorer service. We are from out of town and placed an order for pickup after looking for options online. Twenty minutes drive each way for our lunch and when we opened the containers we found the order was incorrectly made. We called them back and were told that unless we were willing to drive back to them to have the order remade there was nothing they were willing to do. Since we jad plans and our lunch was ruined, spending another 30plus minutes for the order to be ready and another 40 minutes of driving was not an option. Paid for a lunch i did not eat and the extra attitude as an unwelcomed side dish. read more
