Pull up and place the order at 9:57 pm online because we wanted to scroll options and no one was in the drive through. Give it a few minutes and pull into the drive through two people come after us. TERRIBLE LOCATION! They forgot both sides from a mobile pickup order. Kids meal with mashed potatoes and gravy, and a fish sandwich with fries meal. Called and the manager was no help at all. This is by far the worst Popeyes I have ever been in . It's starts from the top down. The manager with Purple hair (only stating that because hair was purple) talked so bad to the employees. Now they were terrible to but no one should get talked to like that. A man was walking through the back in the kitchen with a blower. No one had on gloves besides the young lady making sandwiches. Young kid was vaping in the bathroom. I had to come back to store because my daughter went to pick up chicken and the entire order was wrong. We hadn't been back to this location for a few years due to many of the problems mentioned in older reviews: lights off/irregular hours, poor food quality, erroneous orders, jerk mgmt, etc. We tried it again recently and had some order accuracy issue; however, when my wife called, she reached Jessica (mgr) who listened politely and arranged for a replacement for a future order. Many times, at other places, this is nothing more than empty words to get you off the phone. My wife contacted the store this evening for the replacement; Jessica answered and immediately recalled the situation (from a few weeks ago!) and the order and within seconds somehow had the exact order details and assured her that she'd manage the order prep personally to ensure no mistakes. When we arrived the order was bagged and ready for pickup with zero drama, 100% accurate, fresh, and perfectly prepared (cooked/packed). If you have a negative impression from a previous poor experience, I strongly encourage you to give them another shot. As long as Jessica is running the shop, we'll continue ordering here. We've been to this location a couple of times. I will mention the previous times have been abysmal; however, this time, the Mac & cheese my kids ordered could rival Chick-fil-A any day - date I say even better!! The red beans and rice is legit and the chicken fresh! Iced tea on point and biscuits good as usual. It makes all the difference to have fresh & hot fast food vs things that have been sitting under a warmer for hours (which was the case in the past). The service was even friendly and efficient. If you go to Louisiana and hit up a Popeyes, you will never want to eat regular Popeyes again. You can't get it anywhere else. It's simply a culinary masterpiece of finger licking awesomeness. Alas, we don't live in the Cajun capital of the world. Instead we must settle for the "it'll do" chicken, and that's a review summary of this place if ever I saw one. There's nothing great about it, but there's also nothing that bad about the food. The chicken is typically breaded nicely here and while it lacks flavor it won't kill you usually I guess. The problems here really can't be blamed on food. The service is bad. On two occasions in the drive thru I've gotten completely different things than I've ordered, I'm guessing because people kept jumping out of the super long drive thru wait time. It's completely overpriced and this location just can't get its act together.
