We were craving Italian to be delivered and had heard of Roma's in Prosper...so glad we gave them a try! I ordered the linguini with clams and my husband had the spicy chicken alfredo. Let me tell you...oooooohweeee, the linguini with clams is out of this world good! The dish had the perfect balance of lemon, garlic and spice, plus TONS of clams! High-quality clams at that. This was so good that I will not even consider ordering it from anywhere else but here! Well done, Chef!! My husband said his spicy chicken alfredo was perfection as well. Even the complimentary garlic bread was so fresh, soft and bursting with savory garlicky flavor. In an area of the suburbs where we're used to lackluster Italian food, Roma's is a complete breath of fresh air! Right off 380, this has to be one of the best Italian restaurants in Prosper. We were greeted by a fantastic server; I wish I remembered her name! My friends and I came here for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy. We ordered fried calamari for an app, a large half pineapple and pepperoni pizza, pesto pasta dish and a delicious salad. All 3 of us including the baby were full afterwards with leftovers. We enjoyed all the food it was so so good. I look forward to visiting other locations because the food was top notch. We popped in on a Friday night, hoping to escape big crowds. The restaurant felt very low-key and peaceful, exactly what we wanted. Our server knew the menu well and did not miss with her recommendations. I probably won't order the cheese sticks or cheesesteak again, but the Florentine pizza and Spicy chicken and shrimp dish were phenomenal! We ended the night with a slice of strawberry cheesecake, which guaranteed a return from us. Everything tasted as if it were homemade and was well worth the trip to Prosper! read more

Roma's Italian Restaurant is a nice quaint place. The server was very sweet and polite. The mozzarella sticks and pizza were good, but were served to us at room temperature. The stuffed mushrooms were served hot and were very flavorful. The bread and calamari were served to us at room temperature. The marinara sauce was very tasty. The calamari was great once I took it home, heated it in the oven, and added salt. The pasta was served warm. The chicken in the pasta was very dry. The food was bland. We added salt and that did not help the flavor. We ordered 2 lobster ravioli's. One was served warm and the other hot. This dish was also very bland. It tasted like ravioli with imitation crab meat. We gave the resurant 3 stars because our server was so AMAZING!!! And we DID show her our appreciation! I wish we could have had the same experience with our food. We may return in the near future to try other dishes in hopes of leaving a better review. read more

We have eaten here many times since we found it about a month ago. The service is always fantastic, I don't know the ladies name who is always our waitress but she NEVER forgets anything and even when they are swamped she takes care of everyone. The food, is fantastic. The stuffed mushrooms are a 100/10, and we are slowly making our way through the main dishes, but they have all been amazing. The food at this Roma's was objectively poor quality and tasted disgusting. However, the service was great. I feel shame for having brought their food home to my family. Almost $100 of food thrown away. The chicken in the chicken parm tasted slightly rancid, the pizza was soggy and the toppings tasted like the plastic bag they were stored in. I could go on... Here's why we had to give it a review: first, the food...we sampled several pastas and sauces and the flavors were complex and didn't leave us feeling like taking a nap despite eating too much. Second, the vibe...weren't greeted right away and it's in a shopping center but who cares, it's so relaxed in there with several parties of large and small groups. Let's call it bustle but not obnoxiously noisy. Finally, the staff is serious about the food and serving. You can tell they're family and love the work. And I saw meticulous care of to-go orders headed out the side door while we ate. Definitely a good spot for a team lunch, a birthday celebration, or just friends catching up. The food here is incredible....every time! I imagine food in heaven will taste like this. The Roma's Spicy Chicken and Shrimp can't is so flavorful and just the right amount of spicy. Roma's is an unassuming, charming restaurant in a shopping strip next to a Valero. Don't let the location stop you from going, as both the service and the menu were delightful. Ask for Mona, who will help you select some delicious apps and entrees, not to mention some really fabulous desserts. The bar is a beautiful focus of the place. I'd love to see some blinds installed on the windows that look out onto Valero, and a few tweaks to make the layout less sterile in its openness (maybe some pony walls to divide the entrance from the main space?). We will definitely go again. Highly recommend the pizza, lasagna, caprese salad and limoncello cake! read more

I visited Roma's for the first time a week ago. I was impressed with their variety menu. I ordered a eggplant parm and pasta. I enjoyed this dish, it was flavorful and the eggplant did not feel squishy. I also have to say their garlic bread was quite delicious with our meal. Ordered the usual here. Alfredo pizza, I think it's their 4 cheese pizza and the other order was the spaghetti that comes with their bread. I think all of it were homemade. It's fresh and warm while they serve it. My children loved their pizza and it's been a request to come back. We ordered one time the eggplant pasta. That didn't sit well with me. Eggplant is oily and unexpected. But the pasta has always been great. Minestrone soup is full of beans than of the vegetables. Service is also great. The people who accommodated us in two different visits were really warm and friendly. They check on you from time to time if you need anything. They will interact with you and are truly understanding. Place is perfect to accommodate bigger crowds. Although it's a mid-size place, you know that it can accommodate a classy group that would hold special occasion. Everything else is good. Order the pizza and the pasta. Stick with that. read more

The food is top notch for the area and the service is amazing. It's a small place but it's perfect for a date or a small get together.

Disappointing. The garlic bread was a dry dense lump of bread. The bruschetta should not be called bruschetta. It was French type bread with a few diced tomatoes. No garlic flavor or other ingredients and mozzarella cheese doesn't belong on bruschetta. The red sauce served on the side tasted like tomato paste out of the can. read more
