This is the THIRD issue I've experienced with this location's SERVICE. The first issue involved a triangle screw from some part of the frying equipment/process disconnected and was deep fried with my fries and served/sold with my order. How do I know? Because it was oily and piping hot within my fries. By the dark color of the screw, it wasn't new! The second issue was a completely different order than what I ordered/paid for was delivered. Now, today...June 28, 2026 at 5:45pm CST I physically drove to the 1521 N Custer Rd Wingstop restaurant to place an order of 30 ALL FLATS...mid order, the young cashier states, "I can't sell you that many flats!" I immediately questioned, "WHY NOT!? I'm purchasing them...they're not free!" He goes to ask the manager. (I'm standing there watching their exchange.) He comes back and states, I can only sell you 10 FLATS. I was livid! I stated, "I'm not buying only 10 FLATS!" I leave. Drive home. Ordered and paid for the 30 FLATS I wanted via UberEats. RECEIVED 30 FLATS and the rest of my order! Why is it I could order via UberEats and pay $3.49 extra for the ALL FLATS? But, standing physically in the restaurant I was restricted to ordering only 10 FLATS? I'm going to ask all of my neighbors and anyone I see going into that location as I have opportunity if they're aware of the 10 FLAT minimum in-person ordering limit? This is the last time a dime of my funds will be spent at this Wingstop location. Keep in mind, the first two issues I spoke to the Hispanic manager directly. Her offer to resolve each issue was, "I'm so sorry, I will give you a free replacement order when you come into the store!" Which I never redeemed. The customer service, in my personal experience, is subpar at this location. Based upon the three negative experiences I've had and the extremely poor management resolution actions. It's been awhile since I ordered ahead and then Picked up an order at the McKinney location. I won't be back. The french fries were just ok...light on seasoning and could have been crispier. The wings were awful. Luckily the chicken was done...but the skin was slimy...not crispy. Terrible....They were busy and the order took about 10 minutes longer than quoted.I could have lived with the timeline ...but not the quality of the food. Very disappointing. read more

She gave me the sandwich at which point I said that's it, not even am I am sorry? her reply was, you don't want the sandwich? REALLY! If I could less than 1 stars, I would. The manager at this location is on some wild power trip. I ordered food; waited 22 minutes and left for home - 1.8 miles away. Once home, I quickly notice the fries were beyond ice cold. I called and asked them to make fresh fries. I proceeded to use my gas and drive back to this location. I returned and accidentally brought back everything but the fries. The manager rudely told me to go home and retrieve the food else she wouldn't return it. And when I brought the food back, she would let me know based on how she feels, if she would replace my order. (You can't make this up) I went home brought the fries back and asked for a full refund. She refused to give a refund or make fries and is speaking about me poorly in Spanish- mind you, I'm from SoCal- so for some Spanish under my belt. She then tells me to call the police if I want the stuff remade. So I do (see pic). The police said it's a civil matter try to work it out - but they can't typically come for civil matters- understood. I am still calm standing waiting - police eventually arrive. I step outside to converse with the officers. I was informed this same manager called the police and said I was trespassing and wouldn't leave the store. Just more bad character and lies. The police knew I had called first as well. They unfortunately could not give me money back or force them to make fresh food. So I left empty handed - save the trespass "warning " issued by the police. Called customer service and they were appalled and apologetic and tried to issue a $15 card. No thank you. I plan to be at corporate office first thing Monday morning and I plan to file a civil suit. It's the principle. What I want is my refund and an apology from this manager. Food is always terrible you ask for light salt fries come burnt like wood chips and super salty. Wings burnt and terrible then you ask for a refund and they give you a "credit". I hate leaving bad reviews and I never do . I just left this location and was picking up an order and this young guy who was sweeping the floors was so rude to me . I get that he needed to sweep reallly bad so I moved and he come back around and was very rude saying can you go sit over there I need to sweep here and he didn't even say please he was just overall so rude . There was no where for me to sit . I went and told another employee just how rude he is and the same guy that was sweeping came back around and asked what I told him . He was fighting with me and talking about me right in front of me ! I could not believe it . He is really lucky I did not go off on him . I understand he might have had a long day but he needs to have basic training on how to speak and interact with customers. Come on just the basics ! Don't you ever talk about me right in front me ! The best wingstop I have ever been to. They are consistent with the quality of the food and it's made in a timely manner. The chicken is sauced and seasoned perfectly almost every time. I would recommend getting the fries well done because I've had experiences where if it wasn't the fries came out soggy but other than that they are the best! read more

Once in a while, there's a minor issue but it's usually an outlier ------ It's a wingstop fastfood chain. It is and should be standard. What makes this branch 4/5 stars is the staff. After having been there a handful of times, they recognize who we are and engage in friendly conversation. The variations of flavors are minimal enough to let you decide quickly and not overwhelm you with 101 unique choices. The reason it's knocked off a star is because once in a while the chicken is either drenched in sauce or dry on some parts. In other words, the coating isn't always consistent. Price point: it's decently price and pretty standard as far as wings in north dallas goes. read more

So, I'm back for another try... ordered at restaurant and was able to watch... if you order extra crispy (and many do) they take wings they have already done and red top them.... have you ever had a recooked fry? It doesn't work and absorbs oil. I don't understand why they won't run this location to standard. If u ask for fresh wings cooked from fresh to extra crispy, the rude girl up front looks at you like you have 8 eyes. They don't time product well either. Corn and frys are done 14mi before my wings. Inconsiderate of clients ordering Togo and in lobby. From what I saw vet unorganized. I understand if it's busy but we ordered online and the time said specifically 9:20 it would be ready and instead at 9:46 i had got up after they called people who came in after us, and I asked what's going on and we've been waiting and the young lady at the counter said oh um what's your name- she went to the heating area and then said OH it's right here. If she would've acknowledged us and said sorry for the wait or at least said "let me check on that for you". Something would've been nice. This place is right by the house and I would rather drive another 15 min to another location that treats us better. First and last time going. The manager demanded I show her the number dialed and proceeded to tell me this was not their contact number. I've given this place multiple tries but no more. Due to COVID I'm picking up orders from different places for my family. I placed my order with this wing stop and it was supposed to be ready at 6:44pm. I got there for them to tell me they forgot to check online orders and it's gonna be a while.
