Food is okay. Service is slow and mediocre at best. They weigh everything to make sure they don't give you too much!

The restaurant service time is terrible, I ordered online and I still had to come sit and wait a whole hour for my food. The manager or the older lady upfront ignored me for 10 min then served every single person in the restaurant before me people who ordered inside the store. Been to many, many Popeyes all over the country. This is the worst Popeyes ever... The food was poor, but the people were beyond terrible... I mean beyond rude and nasty. I don't set the bar very high, but these people were just zero class. They would not take my order to begin with. Acted upset that I was even disrupting them. Service was AWFUL. doesn't close until 10 and at 10 after 8 they REFUSED to cook anymore wings. When my grandfather called to speak to a manager she was rude so he asked for the owners name and the manager hung up on him! will not be returning. read more

Where to begin, first it take 5 to 10 minutes for them to even answer the drive through speaker with every person in the drive through. Afterwards out of the 3 times I've gone there they have given the wrong order twice. The last time I explicitly ordered the butterfly shrimp tacklebox and they didn't confirm it over the speaker only asking for my side and drink. When I got to the window they gave me a fish sandwich and when I told them this was the wrong order they said no this is what you ordered. The manager came by and said since YOU ordered wrong we will just give you a refund ( ik that they are both fish but shrimp taklebox and fish sandwich don't even sound alike ). I told them I'm fine with the refund but I'm still wanting the butterfly shrimp box like I ordered originally and was told then go back around and order it right. Un-fucking-believable! read more

Wanted to order the Blackened Chicken Sandwich and was told they were out. Placed order for other things to include 24 pc nuggets. Paid for the items and got my cups and drinks and sat down. A few minutes later the my order number 207 was call and I was told they were out of chicken nuggets. I heard the manager getting upset with the cashier saying that I told you we aren't doing those today. The cashier said they would give me a refund when the manager was able to come to the front counter. I waited about 15 minutes for the manger to come to the counter and then another cook said here are the chicken nuggets. The manager then told the cook "I told you we are not doing those today, I don't want to be back here all day". 5 minutes later I was able to get my order. So it took almost 30 minutes to get my order. I was surprised that the 4 piece chicken was 3 legs and a thigh. Every other place I order the 4 piece chicken I get a leg, thigh, wing and breast. After I ate I asked the cashier the name of the manager and was told he couldn't give it to me. I asked another manager that just got there her name and she told me she out ranked her and would not give me her name. Then the lead manager came over and said is there a problem and I yes what is your name? She said you got your nuggets didn't you and Yes but you told them not to provide customers items that are on the menu that you don't want top deal with. She said have a good day and walked away. Most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with in a restaurant. Feel sorry for her employees since they are all scared of her and she treats them like crap. Ok So i usually just let things slide, but this time...No. Last month I went to Popeys for dinner. Got to the drive thru, ordered my food and after I was given my total, I was told that I would have to wait 8-11 mins for the chicken to get done. I said, "No thanks." and pulled away. In my mind, im thinking, "Why didn't she tell me this when I ordered my food?" No biggie. I went someplace else. Last night though, I went back thinking it has to be better this time. Wrong. Got to the drive thru and was told to hold. And I did for about 5 mins, which is a very long time if you are sitting in your running car. After 5 mins, I pulled into a parking spot and went in. It was not crowded so I thought this would be better. Wrong again. When the young lady finally got to the register to take my order, as soon as I ordered, she told me that it would be 8-11 mins before the chicken was done. Screw that. In that 11 mins (and I timed it) I went across the street to KFC, ordered, paid, and got my food and still had 2 mins to spare. I dont know what is going on with this place but really only people who are passing through Selma go there. Everyone in Selma knows that you can only go there for lunch and to be prepared for some type of foolery then. It makes no sense to me that I can come to a place a month a part, and the same thing is going on. I suggest they either close and revamp or just close. My family and I KNOW that when we go to Church's, there is a wait. Usually. But Popeyes is supposed to be this great place but we will never know it. The people that work there are extremely rude and when they are not being rude, they are embarrassed to tell you about the wait. My friend said she went just to get a peice of pie, and was told that there was no pie. The truck had not come in. WTF?! All I can say is, Selma is supposed to be growing but I dont think this particular Popeyes Franchise should be a part of that movement. read more
