I order here before through the drive through and they told me they were out of spicy chicken tenders. Today I ordered through the app and when I arrived to pick up my order that said confirmed on the app, the worker told me they were completely out of all chicken tenders. I asked how I would cancel my order all she said was "they have to cancel it". On a good note the online customer service was great I was told someone would reach out to me within 24-48 hours and it only took 30 minutes. They automatically gave me a refund! read more

Great experience. The store was clean and kept well stocked. Bathroom was clean. The food was delicious. Our meals were hot, fresh and made correct to order. Michael was our cashier. He greeted us with a smile and was very helpful with our order. He even was awesome enough to say goodbye to us when we left. Michael made our meal perfect. 5 stars well deserved!!! read more

Selma, NC. ordered over $50 in food. didn't get a small part of it. so, who gets that money of the product I paid for but didnt get? The product that they will resale? Exactly WHO gets that money? I didnt get what I PAID for. If Popeyes does that in every store to the tune of only $3 per 3 people per day -- that a $270 profit in the store per month and over $3000 in a year. Multiply that $3000 per year per one store times 3000 stores -- which is less than the number of stores than what Popeyes claims to have -- and you are looking at at least a 9 million dollar per year profit. -- and that's just on food paid for and resold. I have NO empathy for Popeyes and their ethic. They do not deserve my business. Thats corrupt. In the Selma location the manager offered to remake the entire order. The order was over $50. The missing food was about $4. So, does that extra millions Popeyes makes on the food people pay for and don't get account for that math? Popeyes should genuinely be in a financial hole. I would say that 1) Popeyes does not care; 2) employees are potentially not compensated fairly so they don't care; 3) training is not a priority; 4) the CEO is only worried about his bonus no matter how he gets it; 5) they are looking for major tax write offs How can this happen over and over? Someone explain it. I don't want your free fries I just wanted what I ordered and PAID FOR originally. The money would be there because lots of people like Popeyes. you don't have to be so shady in your business and take advantage of your customers. But I just bet you continue to do so. Frustrating. The drive thru always seems to mess up the order. Tonight was not the first time I have gone through this locations drive thru and have had either something missing or an incorrect size. Tonight it was both. I received a small fry instead of a large that was ordered. And they forgot the sauce for the tenders. Nobody likes plain tenders. At least the workers are friendly. read more

Stopped in for something sweet I wanted an Apple pie for a snack while watching tv In the hotel room went up to the counter and asked if they had any pies the manager was at the counter and ask how many would I like. Jokingly I said 27 he quickly said well I can have them in 7 mi. I then told him I was just joking only wanted 4 he looked and told me they had three and then looked at the time on them and said to another worker to put fresh pies down. First let me start by saying I'm not one to complain usually, as I've worked in fastfood before myself so I always give the benefit of the doubt because I know first hand it's hard dealing with the public but also your number one job is supposed to be customer service. My husband and I stopped in at Popeyes in Selma NC and there was a few vehicles in drive-thru and I got in line myself to order. I also understand that places are short staffed and a wait is to be expected regardless, but we're in line and the lady comes over the speaker and was nice and asked for each car to wait and she would be right with them. No exaggeration, it was a minimum of ten minutes waiting for her to even come back on the speaker to get their order. After I honestly couldn't give an exact time period , but I realize and tell my husband, " they are taking one order at a time and getting the food out before they ever come back to take the next order. Finally I get to order our food and when I pull around to the window to pay, they have two vehicles pulled up waiting for their order . The lady was nice, I will give her that, the attitude of the employees was not an issue at all. When I pulled up beyond the pay window to wait , I started looking for the receipt so I could see how long it has been and even after receiving our food we were not given a receipt at all, but when I pulled up to wait for our food, I know we were sitting there a minimum of 15 minutes. I only actually seen one other employee inside when I was paying for the food so I don't know how many employees are in staff at this location but it can't be many. Lastly the reason for my 3 star review is because the one lady was nice herself and the food was great once we finally got it. Avoid this place like it's the f'n plague. The drive thru is the only thing open and the wait is like an hour. I've been parked at the window for over 25 minutes and they tried to give me a sweet tea you could see thru. All the staff where yelling at each other and that's probably why the dine in was closed. Pretty good. I don't really expect much from Popeyes. I guess living in the inner city can do that to you but I FINALLY got grape jelly and butter! Something I request for my biscuits but never ever get because they forget to put it in the bag, put the wrong kind in the bag, or are out of it. Service was pleasant, fast and food was hot. Popeyes has the best fried chicken .. yes I said it .. better than Bojangles - however .... they never remember to give you your sauces! Out of 30 times I've been I've probably only gotten sauce 3 times (without having to check my food and ask again at the window). Biscuits are also the best - buttery and soft. Only other issue is when they have their ghost pepper wings promo they only have them for like 2 weeks and then they are gone, these need to stay on the menu! read more

Clean. Trendy and updated on the inside. Great service. I believe the manager took our order and he even hand delivered it to us at our table. Plus he even conducted interviews (not with us, we're out-of-towners) during our 30 minute stay at Popeyes. The dude is legit. Customer service role model right there. He's like your cool uncle. Their promotion for wicked chicken is false advertisement because they don't sale it although it's new on tv and their digital menu keeps advertising it. I spoke to the manager name Corey about this issue and he didn't seem to care about my concern. I asked him is there a substitute for this deal and he said yes the butterfly shrimp but my receipt had no discount. I was disappointed with customer service in this Selma Popeyes.
