Pizza Inn was a favorite lunch spot during my work years but I hadn't eaten there in a long time. What a pleasant surprise when my friend suggested we checkout this location. Late afternoon on a Wednesday and we were greeted and immediately seated. Wait staff was friendly and professional. The restaurant was bright and colorful and appeared pretty clean. Bathroom was neat and clean also. Decided to try the buffet. The pizza was well stock and appealing to the eye. Overall the buffet could use some attention and I recall there was someone who appeared to be working on it. The buffet food items looked pretty fresh but the counters could use a wipe down. I enjoyed the pizza and salad bar. Good variety. That dessert pizza warm was delicious! Recommend! read more

I haven't been to a Pizza Inn in decades. They have a drive thru & parking in the front and back. The restaurant was clean. The variety of pizza was shocking. Nice amount to choose from including cheese sticks, pizzas, and dessert pizzas. They offered pasta, salad, soup, and ice cream as well. It was actually good. After all these years, it was still good. And MS. REBECCA!!! She was amazing. So polite and attentive. She cheered on my grandson and his friend while they played the claw grab machines for candy and prizes. She was awesome. This Pizza Inn is 100% BETTER than the one in Washington,NC. The selection of pizza was GEN X pizza (more flavor and toppings) not Boomer or Kindergarten styles (boring 1 topping). Ended up in that area just for a change of pace and yes, there are good choices for restaurants but in dealing with someone who is very indecisive I was like... Pizza Inn would be safe. The pizza choices were great. The salad bar was fresh. The music was recognizable. Our waitress was the most up beat, sweet, kind and on point person I have met, recently. Need more like her out there at all places the public go. I did ask for the BLT pizza, just because it reminds me of my mom (my mom genuinely liked this pizza). It was so freaking good HERE. I ordered a chef salad , the cucumbers were slimy and it was lacking some of the ingredients. Manager refused to comp meal. VERY RUDE.

We ordered from our hotel on an overnight on our way to the beach and WOW did this bring back memories! We used to have Pizza Inn in VA and we loved it! Our pizza was done to perfection and delivered promptly. On our way back home we had to have another for the road so I placed my order via the website. There was a small glitch because the store thought it was being picked up by a delivery service but the Manager and other staff resolved the issue quickly and we were on our way with another amazing, hot, delicious pizza! The pizza was very good. The waitress was awesome, but the manager and the cashier were both very rude. They did not want to be there and you could tell, they were hateful. Stayed the night at a nearby hotel and just wanted something to pick up and bring back to the room. Saw this place as a nearby place to eat. Had pretty good reviews so we decided to grab a pizza. Ok. Is it the best ever pizza? No. Is there a reason we love this place? Yes. Here's the story. My husband LOVES taco pizza, and the best is Pizza Inn (prove me wrong). The balance of their special sauce for this baby just hits. There are no Pizza Inn locations in Virginia anymore so we can only get it when we travel. (I also highly recommend the Cheeseburger Pizza) This location is near family so we hit it up every time we're close. We have found this location responsive to our requests and very friendly. As other reviews suggest, the restrooms could be cleaner. We also hit non-peak times so we avoid the buffet crush of tons of people. I can't comment on their pasta, bc ... why would you there?? Salad bar is decent but not the greatest. It's adequate. Also love they tend to give me the Senior Citizen rate bc of my gray hair. read more

This is a family favorite and since there is no longer any of these in the Charleston, SC or surrounding areas it was a must stop during our road trip back to Charleston at this nostalgic buffet from my childhood memories! Conveniently located off of of I95 South we found ourselves here on a late Monday afternoon . Upon entering we were greeted by the manager who was welcoming and pleasant. We were promptly seated in the dining area and instructed to enjoy ourselves at the buffet-No problem! We were literally the only ones in the restaurant and I immediately noticed the pizza on the buffet appeared to have been there a while. Our waitress was very friendly and told us to request any pizza we wanted and they would make it for us since she acknowledged this was a slower time for them and they don't replenish the buffet as quickly. Our requested pizzas came out fast and hit the spot. I also requested my favorite dessert pizza: the Bavarian creme pie. I haven't had this in a while and it was perfect! I want to start off by saying I'm not here to argue many people may love this place but my 1st and probably only experience here is my last. I walked in and the place is uncomfortably muggy and hot, I got a salad and every aspect of the salad was hot so I'm gonna assume that their cooler is down, the pasta was sitting in water and became mushy and inedible the sauces tasted like they had too much tomato paste. The pizza well where do I begin the "salad" pizza was just cheese pizza with shredded lettuce and shredded cheddar, all pizza was greasy. The finale is the dessert pizzas, the pineapple pizza was just dense and not appetizing, the cookie pizza was raw dough on a flatbread type dough, and the chocolate and apple pie pizzas were just inedible read more

This is the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at...it's a great concept but the pizza was old & sitting on the buffet for far too long. We asked for new pizzas to be brought out and they never were (waited 45 minutes). The pasta was over cooked. The entire place was dirty & booths had holes in them. The bathroom was the worst part. It smelled of ammonia in the mens with a toilet that looked like it hadn't been flushed in a week (according to my husband). The womens was the same - toilets not flushed, smelled horrific, sticky floors & trash overflowing. We ate at the Selma, NC location. read more

I ordered pizza at 6:00 pm. Get to restaurant to pick up order @6:30 and only part of it was made. Of course they tell me this after I have paid. Manager comes over and they are going to make rest of order. Ok I have nothing but time on my hands!! The best combination of pizza and wings in the area. It's difficult to find a place that does both well but Pizza Inn gets it done. They also have great dipping sauce for the wings, are reasonably priced and have no minimum on their delivery. I am glad they are recent users of Grubhub. A usual family favorite, this was horrid at the very least. No adult supervision was present while the "off for the summer" help was running the show. Ends and pieces prevailed as we waited for nearly ten minutes for HOT new arrivals to land on luke warm service stations. After a bit the replacements arrived to be devoured by those waiting in anxious impatience. The spaghetti was from Chef Boyardee and cold. Dishes for my family of five accumulated to a height of about a foot going unnoticed by our not so busy server. The bathrooms were disgusting and I watched our server scoop a cup through the ice machine which is a health dept no-no. As we left our feast we noted with delight the sign stating they have been doing this for twenty years; which is likely why you can't find a Pizza Inn anywhere. This Pizza Inn doesn't look like much from the outside. The restrooms were beyond nasty. The staff was overly-friendly....you know, where they are trying wayyyy too hard and bugging you to death! This place is horrid! The inside is filthy, the seats are torn open, some attempted to fix with duct tape, the paint is chipped and everywhere you look is dust and crumbs. The buffet leaves a lot to be desired, the food is cold and to get new pizza takes 20 minutes or so, the salad bar is ok at most. The only thing we did like was the cherry dessert pizza. I cant see how this place stay open!! Save your 20.00 bucks and go to Cici's at least your food will be hot and the staff will have manners. read more
