First off let's start by saying the line was backed up the tap pay wasn't working and the Staff were coming in and out of the back going out to front door out to the parking lot coming back in and not washing there hands and serving food. Another staff member had very long braids no hair bonnet on swinging her braids while serving food . I found that to be very unsanitary. Other customers saw and complained. The place could definitely use a deep cleaning . The lady who took my order seemed distracted talking to staff but was very nice to me. We ordered a 12 piece family Meal with two sides no drinks . It took twenty minutes to get my food. The chicken was okay but I will never return . Not a good experience. read more

Went to Popeyes on Hoover rd,placed drive thru order, waited 10 minutes for my turn to pull up to window. Employee stuck her hand out window to stop me at about 20 feet from window, I waited for about five more minutes then pulled up to the window to see about order. Employee came to window told me she said to wait back there because food wasn't ready then dismissed me to leave. No order. No it'll be ready in a few minutes, told me to go and closed the window. The worst run drive thru I have ever been to. Couldn't order a combo cuz they had no cups. (Who runs out of cups?) They take one order at a time and don't take the next order until the window is clear. Restaurants that are closed should turn off their lights so that people don't sit in there drive through takeaway Lane for 20 minutes waiting to place a order that will never be served. It is absolutely reprehensible that at 8:00 p.m. I got in the line and at 8:50 when I went to order I was told that they were closed. How preposterous is it. Do you not shut off all your lights including your sign when you are closed? This place has nothing good not service not availability nothing. This location needs to be taken over by the corporation because whomever is leasing it is doing a terrible disservice to not just the community but the brand itself. I don't even think I will go to Popeyes again ever at 65 years old because I just don't ever get food when I go there and this is not the first time that it's happened which is why I feel compelled while sitting in KFC's takeaway line to leave this review. HELP! A VERY UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE!!! On May 10, 2021 I was served at your Popeyes location (26681 Hoover Rd , Warren, MI, 48089). My order consisted of a spicy chicken sandwich combo with no pickle extra Cajun Mayo, Red beans and rice and mashed potatoes and gravy were the sides. I also ordered an single leg extra on the side . My total for my order was  $17.07 . I paid with a $20 bill . I usually enjoy visiting your stores but this experience was the worst one I had ever had. First I waited in line for an hour and half to receive my food. When I arrived home I noticed my whole order was incorrect . Instead of what I ordered I received a regular chicken sandwich filled with pickles and a sauce that resembled tarter sauce , cold mashed potatoes , dry red beans and rice , a biscuit (that I did not order ) and a burnt chicken leg. Before contacting cooperate I attempted to call the store regarding matter several times and it was instantly directed to voicemail. I left two messages regarding what happened. My request for a call back was ignored.  Due to not being able to speak to a manger over the phone and explain the issue I visited the store in person the next day.  The manager on shift told me that he could not and would not refund me for my order without a written letter from cooperate stating that this was possible. He also stated to return to the store in two days to receive a refund , because they should hear from cooperate within that time frame . I then reached out to cooperate and was told they would contact the store as well as myself regarding this matter and to wait 2-3 days . I waited 3 days extra and didn't receive a phone call . I reached out to cooperate once again explaining that I had not heard from anyone and was told my the phone representative that the manager should have been able to refund my $17.07 and that it should have been "a simple transaction". The representative also stated that she would reopen my case and leave a note in file. Once again, I was given the promise that someone would reach out to me regarding my refund. After 2 days of not hearing anything I called cooperate once more . The representative this time stated I could try talking to the manager as well as waiting for the return phone call from cooperate. He also stated that they had not been able to contact the store due to the phone line going directly to voice mail. Today I returned to the store AGAIN. Desperate for some help. I pulled in the drive threw and asked to speak to a manager. A young man by the name of Dionte appeared at the window. Initially , I was pleased to see another manager I could talk to , to get this situation resolved. I explained to him my experience and what had happened . He said there was nothing he could do, so I asked to speak to his general manager or his supervisor regarding this matter. Dionte stated "he was not there". I then asked if he could provide me with the General manager's name so I could return at a different time to resolve this issue and he again refused to give me this information . He stated he would not give me the General manger's name or a time I could come and speak to him. This was the last straw,  I left frustrated and let down once again. After leaving I realized Dionte's name was at the top of my receipt as the host , and perhaps this is why he refused to give me the General manger's name. At this point it has been 6 days of waiting for a $17.07 refund without being updated . This has been the worst experience of my life . I would appreciate if SOMEBODY , ANYBODY could help me resolve this issue. I am so extremely disappointed in my visit today. I waited patiently and politely for over a hour in the drive through only for me to arrive at the speaker to ask for 3 sandwiches with extra sauce and pickles, and Taniya B. to tell me verbatim "Our sandwiches are pre made and ready". I asked for a fresh sandwich after my long wait I didn't think that was asking for much. I didn't receive that. She explained to me No I couldn't get sauce or extra pickles on the side. You know, I keep trying to spend my money in the city, but sadly this is yet another place where they clearly don't give a s**t. Waited 10 mins in line at the drive through. Pulled up to order, another 2 mins. Watched as five (clearly smarter) patrons gave up behind me and drove off. Waited another 10mins behind the car at the food receiving window (who had resorted to shouting st the window/turning their music up to try and get the attention of the staff). Eventually got to the window to be asked to pay for the wrong order and given quite an indignant look when I pointed out that wasn't mine (apparently a couple of the vehicles on front had given up and left). Total disaster! Order was wrong. Got bone in chicken instead of tenders. Corrected them in the drive through but they Still rung up bone in. Didn't see any sauce in the bag when it was given to us. I would have given it 1 star but I added a 2nd because of the food. THIS RESTAURANT IS UNBELIEVABLY SLOW AS HELL!!!! It should NOT take 15-20 minutes PER CAR JUST TO ORDER. That's not even including the wait time AFTER you've ordered. If you can AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST unless you have a LOT of time to spare. Worst Popeyes ever took us 45 mins to get our food. Terrible service. Food was cold when we got it. Everybody standing around not working

I should have read the Yelp reviews before stopping at this location, however, I decided try one of @PopeyesChicken new chicken sandwiches before the New Year. Despite paying for a chicken sandwich and other items, this location on 8-Mile @ Dequindre in Warren utterly failed and I have still not tasted the chicken sandwich. During my drive-thru visit the credit card machine was allegedly broken, I was handed change three cents short because the cashier "ran out of pennies," after paying I waited several minutes for chicken that was not fresh from the fryer - despite the wait, and worst of all my order was incorrect (ordered mixed yet received all mild chicken) and lacked the chicken sandwich. I understand that mistakes happen and usually these matters are quickly resolved, however this location even refuses to answer their phone to receive a customer complaint. I immediately returned to the restaurant to complain, but the lobby was closed and whenever I called the phone number (586-757-3173) listed on the Popeyes' website for this location the call immediately went to a full voicemail for several days. And here I sit a week later and half a dozen calls to Popeyes corporate customer service number even more frustrated and angry than the night I decided to visit. I have not received any feedback whatsoever from this location after a week. Based on my experience, I caution against any visit to this location. Went to this Popeye's Chicken at 2209 East Eight Mile Rd, Warren MI 48091 on October 5th, 2018 at approximately 1:30pm. Ordered 2- $5 box tenders with extra biscuit. Got back to my business and the biscuits taste sour and not done, I bit another one and the same thing. I moved on to the red beans and rice and that was it, they were really cold and rice was hard. I never touched the chicken or cole slaw and the other person ate some of theirs and felt the same. She proceeded to take this food back, only to have management tell her that they needed the exact change to give her a refund, she brought the change back and she stated that "They refused to give the receipt #63 or #65 back, no refund, and no food. I had already called an left a message about the biscuits and side before she left. This is unacceptable for them to do this, but I will never eat, purchase, or recommend Popeye's in Michigan to anyone period.
