The waffle was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, however it had a sour taste to it almost like over fermented sourdough. They didn't give us enough syrup to help cover that flavor. The potatoes were very good, however they lacked seasoning. Adding salt would have helped tremendously. It would have been nice if they finished with salt, even if they didn't want to season it before hand, a little goes a long way when added as a final step when plated. The service was nice and they were friendly. The businesses at this location are listed as food trucks; however it is more like a food hall/mall. There are several food businesses at the location where they all offer walk up service packages to go. There is seating to eat there, however it isn't comfortable since there are stools with high legs but the tables are too low for your legs to fit under. You either have to eat with your legs spread wide or sit on the edge of the seat. Management needs to change it. Hopefully we will give it another try and hopefully the food will be better.

Good, not great. I'd eat here again if someone else wanted to go, but I wouldn't seek it out. I…read morewould choose five guys over little ghost. The Burger: The patty is the highlight. It has perfect density, is well-seasoned, and is easily 15% better than a Five Guys patty. The Toppings: The lack of customization is frustrating. No extra options or toppings are allowed. It comes with American cheese, shredded iceberg lettuce (not a fan), and way too much sauce. The sauce itself is okay, but the burger was drowning in it. The Fries: Good firmness, they definitely hold their shape better than Five Guys but Five Guys' Cajun fries still win on flavor. The Value: I paid about $20 for a burger, fries, and a tip. It feels expensive, but with Five Guys at $18 and a McDonald's Big Arch meal at $14 these days, the price is fairly standard for the current market.

Ordered a single, a double, two drinks and fries. Totally was 34$. Very expensive I feel. Food was good though. I did enjoy the burger. The single was enough. They don't have any toppings for the burger besides cheese, lettuce and their ghost sauce (basically mayo, pickles and maybe tomatoes). They do have packets of ketchup and mustard if you ask. Fries were fresh and you can tell. This was my favorite thing. They were actually very good. I didn't care for the fancy sauce too much though. But the size of the fries are shareable I feel. Overall I would come here again and try other food. But, with the lack of toppings for the price, it would steer me away.

I was taking pictures for Yelp and a lady busted out from the side door and asked my family "what are you doing?". I said "ordering!?". She then said in an accusatory tone, "Well I saw you taking pictures on the camera. Why?" I kindly answered "I'm taking pictures for Yelp." She said "You're posting those pictures on Yelp? Why?" I said "Well we're visiting from out of town and this is the first Coney Island I've been to so I wanted to take pictures". She looks at my family, my husband holding two toddlers who are asking for pancakes and bacon, and looked back at me with disgust as if we are causing havoc in her restaurant. My husband took the kids, we thanked the lady behind the window, and left. This is the most unwelcoming and ABSURD experience I've had at any establishment. I made sure I answered in the most polite way but the lady ensured that we felt unwelcome. When my kids asked why we were leaving, I answered with "they don't want us here."

Even though it was 10PM, it was busy and I had to wait about 10 minutes, but the Coneys were worth the wait. They were the best, if not the best, I have ever had. Steamed fresh bun, big hot dog, lots of chili and freshly sliced onions, along with plenty of mustard. And they did not skimp on the chili and onions. Tons to overflowing in a styrofoam container. And their chili has a kick to it. I appreciated that. My only complaint: No diet pop. No ice tea. Had to settle for ice water. I will definitely be back. Their Coneys are the best.

The catfish was hot...so hot in fact that the very light and crispy batter turned soggy underneath almost instantly because it was served directly from the grease with no cooling time to prevent the steam from degrading the crispy texture. The salmon was deep fried, but tasty and well worth it. One word of caution though...there is a mandatory 18 percent gratuity automatically added to your bill with no warning or postings in the restaurant. I don't know if it applies to carry out...but be warned if you bring a group of more than two or are planning a tasting menu for a couple...be prepared for that little technicality. Our server was attentive, the ambiance gives Detroit diner and the food was not bad.

I had the traditional breakfast with scrambled cheese eggs, turkey bacon, potatoes and added pancakes. Everything was good and very flavorful. I also enjoy the chicken and waffles with chicken strips instead of chicken wings (I'm not a fave of the chicken wings because I don't like my meat and bone that looks dark) service is the best she can do because it's usually just her taking care the front of the house. The ambiance is okay it's small but nothing bad. They do added on gratuity on all orders rather it's carry out or dine in. But check them out whenever in the Detroit area. Definitely a hidden gem

I would of never visited this Nu Wave place if it wasn't for my MIL. I would of never stopped there even in the daytime. The place does not look like much. Its in a rundown crappy small strip mall along McNichols aka 6 mile and on the corner of Hubbell. Trash is always strewn about outside. And there are questionable people always sitting in broke down beat up barely running cars sitting in the parking lot who seem to love to do a lot of texting. The 2-3 people in there look the part of most of the stores in Detroit - Arabic or some variation of Arabic. Sorry I'm not trying to be racist but that's just the truth. There is however one fairly nice black lady that works there sometimes who speaks decently enough. They pretend to sell various Cakes and homemade salads and special Lemonade, however I have never ever seen ANYONE purposely buy any of it before. Most seem to come there to buy endlessly over fried "Shrimps" or Fish or Chicken Wings. They are seem to do a brisk business selling Whole Wings. However be careful - I attempted to eat one of their whole wings before and the sucker still had Feathers on it underneath all the over spiced over fried coating. Beware of their Dinners. Its over fried over spiced MEAT, with soggy lukewarm at best French Fries sitting on a piece of wax paper, underneath 2 slices of stale damp cheap White bread (am i supposed to eat this?) with a 1oz clear plastic tub of something that resembles Cole Slaw. There is a newer location on Greenfield & 9 mile Rd that I actually plan to visit just to see if its Any better.
