Let me start this review with the fact that we stopped going to Popeyes! The last time we were there- we walked in... 4-5 people in the kitchen... one person in the dining room... ignored us. Took 30 minutes to get our food- then got to the car- only to discover they missed half our order! I walked back in... and was ignored again! I wish that was the first time they missed the mark... it wasn't. So... we just stopped going... until tonight. My son really wanted Popeyes. And... it did sound good... and we talked it through and prepared emotionally for the worst.... But we were pleasantly surprised!! We actually received good service. Seems like a low bar- to actually get what you ordered... but I must say... it was a first! We even got napkins and sporks! Again... low bar... but first time ever that they got it right! We stopped by this newer Popeyes location for a quick chicken sandwich dinner mission. The place still had that fresh-out-the-box look inside, which already gave me hope because lately Popeyes and I have been in a toxic relationship over those shrinking chicken tenders. I swear they started looking like oversized chicken fries. Luckily, this visit redeemed them a little. The sandwiches actually hit the spot, the food was solid, and nobody left feeling personally attacked by portion sizes. Almost every time I come to this location a 9 piece order of leg and thigh is about a 20 minute wait, whether I go in the morning or afternoon. Yesterday I ordered a 9 piece family meal. Waited about 15-20 minutes for it then headed home and served it to my kids. The first drum stick my son eats he shows me that there is still blood on this drum stick. Definitely ruined our appetite. Hi Edwin ! I just received the absolute worst customer care ever received! The guy I spoke to at 2:20 pm on Sunday 6/14 was pathetic he would not identify self just said " I'm a manager... we do not have to identify self"! He lied. Wouldn't listen and didn't want to budge and had the complaint I was trying to tell him about ( not listening) , all wrong when recapping! Due to him I will not return! Sure wish Jesus was there! I had started with one star and only complaints but the customer service changed that. I waited 35 minutes for my order, a bit excessive but the gentleman who gave me my order was apologetic, helpful and nice. He could've easily had an attitude like most workers do because he's busy but he did a great job at focusing on the customer at hand and kept me in the loop when he realized I was waiting for another order. Everything here needs help. Wait times are always long, at least 20 minutes or more even for just a 2 piece with a side which would be fine if the food came out hot. How and Why is it never hot? The only reason this deserves 1 star is because the inside of the restaurant does look nice and I have never seen it messy but maybe that is because noone even goes here? I really wanted to like this place because Popeye's in general is my favorite of the fried chicken chains and it is so close to home, but with the handful of chances I have given this particular establishment only one of those times did I feel like I got my money's worth and felt taken care of. We love Popeyes. We enjoy the new location. It's New Year's Day. They were pretty busy and I went and ordered from the Kiosk. I wish we could make edits at the kiosk to make ordering more easy, but Sandra was very nice and working hard behind the counter to process orders quickly. she told me my order would take 25 minutes to come out but she got it in less than five minutes. Went here last night, got home within 10 min to eat (purchase was 9:15ish and got home at 9:25 and ate it immediately). Woke up at 2:58am vomiting and it coming out the other end too. 0/10 do not recommend. Only the 2nd time I've ever had popeyes and definitely the last. read more

Not sure why it has such low number. My experience was very good. I used the drive thru the person who took my order was very nice and actually proposed a way to get the item changes I wanted without getting charge more. Also, the young man that handed me the order I believe he said his name was Gary was respectful and did not get bothered when I asked for extra napkins as we were heading to the park. read more

Went through the drive thru and got home and food was missing yet again. Wasn't the first time but figured I'd give it a second chance but it has been awhile and forgot to check my bag before leaving. My fault on that end. Just disappointing because it had to be a manager because he was in a grey uniform that packaged my bag. Fool me twice shame on me but will never go there again. BEST staff at any Popeyes in the area. They accidentally got my order wrong (my fault for trying to order "popcorn chicken" lol) but they were really nice at helping fix my order. I even mentioned that my husband is allergic to shrimp so they were nice enough to get some chicken nuggets and made sure it didn't touch any of the popcorn shrimp. The restrooms were unsafe when I came here there was urine all over the seats in the women's restroom. My daughter felt very uncomfortable had to go somewhere else. I confronted the manager. Was craving fried chicken. Took a gamble on this location as overall ratings only 2.0. Was here about 2 years ago when they first opened and was ok. This time EVERYTHING was undercooked. Ordered 4 piece with 1 side. Chicken white spicy ... under cooked. 1 wing was ok but mostly fried batter. When I bit into breast not fully cooked. Bit into other breast and same thing. Got a spoonful of mashed potatoes & gravy and not warm. Was cold as if not fully warmed in microwave. Even the roll was soft in middle as in little doughy. Couldn't f believe it. Total waste of $18. The unsweetened ice tea was ok. lol. They couldn't mess that up. What a total shame this even happened. I used to enjoy Popeyes in Monrovia / Arcadia years ago when I lived in that area and Murrieta off California oaks & Hot Springs was also pretty good. Tried the one off central in Lake Elsinore about 3 years ago and also trash. The district manager needs to be fired and the general manager overseeing the area cuz the Popeyes' in the vicinity all have low 2.0 ratings for good reasons. Wow! We were only car in drive thru and waited 20 min for food! We went Sunday around 11:15am. Good customer service and kind woman working the window. Ordered $50+ of food. After paying and waiting a few minutes. She told me to drive up to the next window. There we waited exactly 20 min for 2 combos and 2 kids meals. They also forgot our 2 cokes so I had to wait for the drinks. No customers in lobby and we were the only ones in the drive thru, how it took 20 min to cook our food blows my mind. I would give zero stars if I could . I work right next to this Popeyes and they are one of the worst . I believe it's because it's a training store. Their tenders are always stale . I truly believe it's because it's left in the warmers past the timers . Worst Popeyes I've ever been to! There was no sauce on the wings, almost as if they did it on purpose and put it on the top of the box. This location is absolutely amazing. Especially Jesus. I recently just tried Popeyes and will drive to this location from Murrieta. Jesus is the sweetest and nicest employee I've ever met at a fast food chain and he looked at my order and noticed something was wrong and fixed it immediately and made sure I got all my condiments. He has a very nice attitude around his coworkers and you can see it's a safe a comfortable environment and such a clean restaurant! I was so glad when I heard they were opening a Popeyes by my house. That is until I went there. I have been to this location on Orange St in Wildomar a few times now and have had some sort of problem every time. Today was no different. I was in a hurry so I placed my order via the app. I pull up to the double car drive thru and was waiting on the car next to me to order or so I thought. I waited patiently and no one came on the speaker to take my order so I said heellloo to which I was told just a moment. Then I see that I'm still waiting because they are continuing to take orders from other people in the other drive thru lane that pulled up WAY after me. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE at this location. Plus they usually mess your order. Yep, just got home with my order of 24 wings for the family and they didn't give me any dipping sauces that I ordered.
