Beef with vegetables and fried rice. $12.99 lunch special. Comes with soup and one appetizer

Had to make a stop at the Los Alamos Post Office, and came across this little gem in the same complex. It was almost noon so we were lucky enough to catch their lunch specials for $12.99 Each entree comes with a soup ( sour or egg drop) and an appetizer (wonton with cream cheese, chicken wing or egg roll) And rice or noodles or half of each. I have to say, we got a lot of food, for that $12.99 and everything came steaming hot and fresh. I don't know of anyplace similar to this. It's definitely Chinese. The gal at the counter was smiling the whole time. She was very happy to be here. Overall 5 stars for Chef K. My daughter, husband and I enjoyed your place. Keep up the smiles and good food!

Warmly greeted as soon as we stepped in, very quick, attentive and friendly service. I love walking into establishments where you feel welcomed. We loved the Temecula location so much, we decided to try this express version for lunch and we were not disappointed. Their servings are extremely generous and they did not skimp on the meats with big servings of jumbo shrimp in the soft noodles and big chunks of bbq pork in the fried rice. My husband, myself and two of our children thoroughly enjoyed the food and we highly recommend this place! Not sure if they have more options besides just Ala Carte which gets pricey, they did have a lunch special, but maybe it would be nice to offer more options like a fast food Panda's like bowls or multiple choice plates.

Chef K is my go-to Chinese food spot, and honestly, it slaps!! I used to be loyal to their Chongqing Chicken (spicy, crispy, and addictive), but then I met their lo mein noodles.... and wow, game changer!! These noods are perfectly seasoned, beautifully al dente, and not a soggy disappointment like some other joints I won't name (but you know who you are). This specific location was intended for takeout so they only have a few tables for dine in. Everything here is bomb, so if you're in town and not eating Chek K, you're doing it wrong!!

I wanted to share my recent experience at a new Chinese eatery I discovered through TikTok. I figured it was worth trying since finding authentic Chinese cuisine in our area can be quite a challenge. Firstly, I should mention that it's not really set up for dining in, as they only have about four tables and no public restroom available. They do have a kiosk for ordering, but I highly recommend placing your order online since everything is made fresh to order. - **General Tso's Chicken**: This dish was very tasty, fresh, and not spicy at all, which I appreciated. - **Crispy Beef**: I was a bit surprised; it didn't resemble the picture I saw on Yelp. It was extremely crispy--almost too crunchy to enjoy comfortably. - **Shrimp Fried Rice**: This was a highlight! Very enjoyable and flavorful. - **House Special Noodles**: Good overall but a tad dry in the middle. I think if you're looking for a quick bite of authentic Chinese food, it's worth checking out!!

Having just moved to the area, finding a good Chinese restaurant is very important. I ran into this place on Yelp, because of it's decent reviews. Instead of Doordashing, we drove there. Chinese food is better straight from the kitchen rather than after a 30 minute car ride on someone's floorboard. Anyway, I ordered my usual dish, the Mongolian Beef. My wife got the Dry Fried String Beans dish. We also had the Crispy Cream Cheese Wontons and a side of Fried Rice. You only get white rice with their dishes. Anyway, the place was very friendly and clean. We both loved our respective dishes. We ordered too much food, but it was delicious. We finished everything off the next day for lunch. We will definitely come here again!

We were craving Chinese food and hadn't really tried anything in the area, so we decided to give this place a shot since it was only one exit away. When we arrived, we were greeted right away by two employees who were busy packing pickup orders, which was nice to see. We browsed the menu and I didn't initially see egg drop soup, so I asked the lady at the counter and she assured me they did have it. We ended up ordering the sticky orange chicken, pork soft noodles, wontons (8 pieces), and a small egg drop soup to go. She also asked us to choose a spice level for the chicken (1-5), and we went with a 3. Our food was ready in about 10 minutes, which was super convenient. Everything was incredibly tasty and exceeded our expectations. The quality of the food was amazing and everything was cooked to perfection. The pork soft noodles were some of the best I've had in a long time. This will definitely be our go-to spot for Chinese food from now on.

BEEF KUNG PAO !!! I thought the chicken kung Pao was delicious but the beef was AMAZING!!! The beef was so tender and large pieces combined with just the right amount of veg and spice. Fast, friendly service- as usual. Small dining area but clean and enjoyable

First timer at THIS location- I love the main location in Temecula and I must say, it's a bit off but it's still really good. Got take out for their lunch special and the order was completed in the time given. Ordered the Mongolian Beef Lunch combo w/ fried rice, chicken wing and egg drop soup as the app. Mongolian Beef - A little too salty. Must be the MSG. But still good when balanced w/ rice Egg drop soup was good but you can tell there's a lot of msg in there too. Was not expecting corn in it either but I enjoyed it Chicken wing - really good. BUT. They give you one.. which was a disappointing thing to see opening my box but it is a combo so.. Fried rice - good but kind of lacking, worked well w/ the mong beef; I will say, their fried rice w/ other proteins are really good at the main location so it's prob just as good if ordered the same way here. Portion was really good. Kind service at the register, and was in and out quick. Not much seating even though in a big restaurant as it seems that most get it to go. Overall I say worth it if you are local and or not trying to deal w/ Temecula traffic. Will return.

After discovering my gluten allergy 8 months ago, Chinese food has been something I've missed so much. Chef K was able to satisfy the craving and safely for me! The website was super easy to navigate and has regular options and gluten free options. Doesn't seem to be a sit down restaurant, more the hotspot for online orders and is very tech savvy. Upon entering, I was greeted with the biggest smile ever and a welcome. The staff was so kind, letting me know the complimentary soy sauce is gluten free. They also throw in some white rice and tons of extra sauces. I got two dishes for $35 and this is giving me tons of left overs. I will for sure be returning and recommending!

When we arrived, we waited about 10 minutes to be seated. After being seated, it took another 10 minutes just to receive water. No one ever came to take our order, so my husband finally had to walk up to the cashier to ask if someone could help us. Looking back, we probably should have left at that point, but our kids were already starving. Once our food arrived, we still had to flag down a server just to get our drinks and utensils. The drinks eventually came, but the utensils never did we ended up getting them ourselves. We never had an assigned waiter just multiple people bringing our dishes. The service was so poor that I honestly can't even remember how the food tasted because the entire experience was overshadowed by the lack of attention and organization. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had, and I won't be returning.

Fresh, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and honestly one of the best I've had. We also had the veggie egg rolls, and you could taste how clean the oil was. No heaviness, no lingering grease. Just crisp, fresh, and really well done. Even the jasmine tea was really good. Smooth, fragrant, and clearly not an afterthought. The place was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I ordered the salt and pepper chicken wings and was disappointed. For $12, I only received six wings, which felt overpriced for the portion. The wings also lacked seasoning, and the batter was much thicker than expected. Instead of the light, crispy texture you typically expect from traditional salt and pepper wings, they were coated in a heavy batter that reminded me more of fried chicken from a fast-food restaurant. The staff and ambiance were great, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. I hope they consider improving the seasoning and batter because the service deserves food that matches the quality of the hospitality.
