Price was ok , staff was all ladies, all professional, got in and out quick. The chicken is usually spot on. Spicy, crispy and flavorful. But always had issues with this location being consistent with the orders. They'll give you the wrong amount or wrong item. Staff doesn't give the best customer service but at least the chicken is consistently good. read more

Update from a 2016 review. I decided to try them again. Same arrogant service, same TINY chicken parts, but the worst...the red beans and rice. Absolutely inedible. The rice was clumps of hard, rubbery rice that obviously were scraped from yesterdays rice pot. We were very early, so it had to be way old, leftover rice. No straws with the drinks. I'm in line at 9pm and they close at 10pm, tell me why they said that they are closed for the night. Not even 5 minutes later, someone comes on says, "My cook just showed up, what would you like to order?" Lol smh. This is hands down the worse Popeyes I've ever visited. I have never left a review but had to for this place. I do Doordash and always try to avoid this place. It's so inconvenient. They somehow are still closed inside when every other place is open inside with restrictions, some states even lifting restrictions. So the drive thru is the only way to pick up your food which causes it to be backed up as they are not fast at all. Always a 10minute or more wait and sometimes waiting even when I get to the window. On top of that the service is bad, feels cold and unwelcoming. I had one time in the 5 or so times I've been there when someone was polite and it felt like a normal fast food experience. I've had the food once and the food is not bad, it's Popeyes. TLDR if you want Popeyes with bad service and long wait times this place is for you. I'd personally just go somewhere else for quicker food, better service and food. read more

We stopped by just to try out the chicken sandwiches. While I wasn't blown away like everyone else apparently, it was not bad. What I loved the most about this place was the people. Worst Popeyes I have ever been to. The manager always has a chip on his shoulder, the food is consistently cold, stale and skimpy and they are wayyyyyyyyyy over-priced. (In all fairness, all the chain fried chicken joints are expensive.) It's not worth bothering with. And Popeyes used to be so good. We still visit other Popeyes around northeast Georgia, and they're better, but still, not what they used to be. The Winder Popeyes is by far the worst, with the Monroe location in a close second. 2nd time I've gone through drivethru. Just paid 9 dollars for seven shrimp an order of fries a flat biscuit and med coke. I should have bought a 5 dollar tackle box. Would have gotten more food. This may just be a bad day for them but on 5/4/2017 I sent my daughter out to get us some chicken for dinner. We had a coupon - 15.99 for 8 piece mixed with 2 large sides and 4 biscuits. Seemed like a good deal. We opted for the spicy chicken with cole slaw and jambalaya. We she got back and I opened everything up I was a little confused. The Jamabalaya was instead Red Beans and Rice (more bean soup than beans and rice). My daughter explained that they had run out and would have to make another pot to have Jambalaya. Now we aren't talking about close to closing time. This was at 6pm. Then I went to get the chicken and had to count it carefully because apparently they didn't get adult sized chickens in. The drumsticks were the size of the drumettes you would get at your local wing place. So either I got pranked because I am a short fella or they cook up Bantam Chickens there.
