Had to spend multiple hours at their branch trying to resolve this because they are so incompetent and couldn't get it right. Then it got hacked a second time that night. I have had so many problems and time lost related to this and they bumbled through it all. Called Matt the manager the next morning and he hasn't responded in four days. Shows how much they care about losing a customer who has literally deposited multiple million dollars in their bank. (They even charged me for a few counter checks for the new account they created that got hacked immediately after the original one did. Just to add insult to injury) I switched to a credit union and treated much better right away. Done with chase for good after years of being treated so poorly. This was just incompetence and utter dismissiveness. I work too hard.

I came to this location to withdraw $8,000 from my savings - typically I have pulled out $30,000-$50,000 from my account at different locations without any hassle or issues. But here, the girl who represented herself as the manager and supervisor stated after speaking on the phone for 20 minutes with God knows who, saying they did not allow me to take out my money, I ask her what do you mean? This is my own money why can't I withdraw it? "Oh because they said the money is still pending" - I ask her how the hell is it pending if I can withdraw the money from the ATM instead with no issues? She says ok do so at your own discretion but we cannot release your funds. Went to the ATM and was able to withdraw $2,000 of the money she said was pending - how can I withdraw pending money from an ATM? Absolutely disgusted that in this day and age people still racially profile individuals, just because I'm not white or speak like I got a corporate stick up my ass I'm denied my money that I worked hard for? I've had my Wells Fargo account since 2004 - but this one single instance made me want to transfer all my money to citi bank - because that's what I did, I zelled my cash to Citi Bank and I was able to withdraw the full $8,000 that SHE LIED ABOUT BEING PENDING. My wife and I were denied the ability to deposit a check at Wells Fargo at 6460 Platt Avenue, West…read moreHills, CA 91307 on Saturday morning June 21 by the manager who was named "Angela" The check was to be deposited in one of my Wells Fargo Advisor joint account and was processed by the teller but Angela denied us the ability to deposit the check because one letter on the written amount had a minor write over on it. The numerical value of the check was entered correctly and we had a lawyer's letter attesting to the validity of the check, yet she refused to honor the deposit. I've had a Wells Fargo account for over 40 years and have considerable investments with Wells Fargo advisors but we were treated as though we were dishonest. Angela said, " I'm not trying to give you a hard time..." And I responded with, "That's exactly what you are doing." She then told me not to raise my voice at her. We left, went to another local Wells branch and deposited the check without incident. I can't help thinking that because I was casually dressed and my wife and I are a biracial couple that this is why we were treated so disrespectfully by this Angela.
