    Hot pop pizza
    Matt M.

Amazing pizza. It is legit so good. I admit since I don't live super close that sometimes I have to order from other places but any chance I get I try to grab Poppie's. There are other local places that just can't come close to this pizza. And even places I once swore by, have fallen by the wayside. This is always consistent. The dough, the sauce, the cheese and toppings are all on point. I wish much success and hope they don't ever compromise like others have since it is top notch. I'd love to see a Madison or Ridgeland location someday

Absolutely love Poppie's Pies! Everything I've had has been consistently fresh and delicious. My two favorites are the Neapolitan street corn and the Neapolitan burrata--both are incredible every single time. You can really taste the quality and care in each dish. Definitely one of my go-to spots!

The pizza was delicious. We really enjoyed it. We tried 2-3 different pizzas and the thin crust Neapolitan was the favorite. Love the taste of the pepperoni! Order lady was very nice as well!

Possibly the best pizza I've ever eaten!

This was quite possibly the best pizza I've ever had. And the second trip, splitting one with my wife was just as amazing! The people there are great too! The setting and location is really great as well.

They are absolutely the best pie in Jackson with except of Sal & Mookies... We love the area right next door to a brewery !!!! Pie & Brew go hand in hand!

Decided to try a new spot in Jackson and landed here. Before we even got into the door, we were…read moregreeted warmly by the hostess and another staff member who held the door for my mom. Nice! We were seated quickly, as it was not super busy on a Saturday afternoon. Our server came quickly and took our drink orders and filled them quickly. She even handled our change of mind without a pause. Nice! Appetizer of Fried ravioli with Parmesan cheese sprinkled was nice and crunchy. Served with marinara sauce. Mom got the Chicken Parmigiana, layered over fettuccini. The portion was huge and quite crunchy, without being overcooked. The chicken was still tender and not dry but the flavor was just meh. It also was lacking in marinara sauce for the noodles. The star of the show was the 4 Train Remix pizza! It comes with Grade mozerella, grilled chicken, smoked gouda, pickled onions, roasted corn, chipotle bbq sauce and cilantro. I opted to add brisket to the 14" pie. Have mercy! The flavor!! The toppings worked so well together and the brisket just added another level of complexity. I would have preferred a slightly thicker crust since the oils tend to sog our the crust. It was a little messy to hold but that just added to the fun. We also tried the Nada Colada mocktail with Torani coconut, pineapple juice and ginger ale and it was really good.

They explained the options and every single flavor we tried was really good. Coffee flavor was very authentic and not so sweet. The place is big, they have booths and also a bar area.

The service was great. The late night vibe was cool. Good music chill time. The late night vibe is great for people on their 20s and 30s who are looking to chill with music, cocktails, and pizza.

He insisted that he move our tables to be one big table. I told him it was okay because I didnt want to bother him, but he insisted, saying he wanted me and my little nephew to be comfortable. He handed us the menus, and we decided to order three different pizzas and the Pretzel Bites for the appetizer. The first pizza was the Three Little Pigs, a delicious combination of Italian sausage, pepperoni, applewood bacon, fresh basil, marinara, and mozzarella. This one was by far my favorite. The bacon and sausage had a spicy flavor, and the mozzarella was thick and gooey. One bite and the cheese would stretch for days. The other two, the Pepperoni and Chicken Alfredo, were right up there, too. I like that the Chicken Alfredo tasted more like a pizza than not. It had all the combinations of a Chicken Alfredo pasta dish, but with the spices and marinara sauces, it was a sweet combination of both, but it was more of a pizza flavor, which I just loved. I can't leave off the Pretzel Bites; I liked that the cheese and mustard were mixed, bringing on a very favorable dip. Now I must tell you this: the pizzas are supposed to be a personal pan--ten inches with six slices. The hostess warned me these pizzas aren't your regular-sized personal pan. He was right. The pizzas are huge, the slices even bigger. It's a deep-dish pizza with layers of meat, cheese, sauces, and veggies. So you can order three like I did, or just order one and keep coming back, trying different pizzas, which is a great idea considering the place is so inviting. One more thing: You can eat inside or outside on the patio or the lawn with the large TV screen. It's a very relaxed place, and they have a band on certain nights. I can tell you for sure that the hostess, the food, and the ambiance make this place what it is, very inviting.
