Line was long which I appreciate, especially since the store front is small and the line continues outside. The music is insanely loud. So if you have bad hearing, good luck. Bagels were crispy on the outside. Soft and chewy inside. Shmears were great. The scallion CC was definitely the superior one. It is a dense bagel. So don't expect a Sammy out of it.

Ok, so I saw this long line after I was leaving the Henry. Oh boy!!! I got the 3 bagel 1 smear Everything Salt Plain Scallion smear Oh yeah! This is so good. I'm so happy they are here to stay and not just a pop up! Piping Fresh and hot... even all the way home. Drop the mic....

the bagel and schmear is so delicious! I got the scallion and apple pie schmear and wow 5/5! I tried the everything, poppy and sesame bagel - everything bagel is my favorite! It is a very little shop so it's more of a grab and go thing versus a sit down shop! service was quick! If you're ever in the mood for bagel check this place out!

I love the chewy texture of the bagel The salt flavor was very delicious The strawberry spread was not too sweet They harden pretty quickly, so if you have extra you're not going to eat that day, I recommend freezing.

Ok. Pros: line moves fast, service is amazing, bagels are super hot. Cons: cream cheese is so hard no way anyone can rip and schmear, cream cheese should be whipped. They aren't very good bagels for NY/NJ. For Houston. Amazing. Being from NY these fell super flat. Like they are fine, but not quite right. Also soooo overpriced. Wouldn't run back? Wouldn't avoid.

I doughn't know how this happened but PopUp Bagels is a-dough-rable! Living up to it's hype, PopUp Bagels has been open for a short two weeks and it has been POPPIN indeed. Today the line wasn't down the block and was just a short wait inside. Feeling slightly frantic, I was trying to figure out how it worked. You have a choice of a few different bagels (plain, everything, poppy, salt, and sesame) then you get to decide which spread or "schmear" to put on. The bagels were unbelievably fresh - crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside and packed with flavor and not to mention piping hot! The schmear I got was the Cacio E Pepe Butter and it buttery goodness. Only downside - you can't order just one bagel. They won't let you and I don't think their system is programmed to let you. You have to order in a 3, 6, or 12-pack. The staff was super friendly, the service was quick, and the whole experience was fun from start to finish. It's easy to see why this place has such a loyal following. If you're a bagel lover, this is an absolute must- visit. I'll definitely be back for more!

PopUp Bagels finally made its way to Houston. The grand opening had the lines wrapped around the sidewalk. There is a designated parking lot that is also shared with other businesses. It's more of a grab and go kind of place but they do have tables outside under the shade. I came here on the third day of the grand opening and only waited 20 minutes in line. The staff came out and took our orders then gave us a to-go bag with the orders marked on it. This made ordering a lot faster since you just have to pay once you get to the front counter. The bagels were put into the to-go bag and only took a minute before they called out your name. The bagels are sold in pack of 3, 6, or 12. The 12 pack gives you 2 schmear options. The 3 and 6 pack came with 1 schmear. They were out of their original schmears and only had the limited options left. I went with the cacio e pepe butter and 3 pack bagels. I chose the sesame, poppy, and everything bagel. The bagels were hot and fresh. A good crunchy texture on the outside and each bagel was fully coated with its topping. The butter schmear was creamy and had a very smooth texture. Hope I can come back to check out their original schmears flavor in the future. Overall, a great addition to the neighborhood.

I came during soft opening (great experience) and also came 3 weeks later (waiting a bit long, even though I placed an order for a set pick up time). My favorite bagel is the everything bagel! It deff was made fresh and favorite schmere so far is the scallion and truff. During soft opening, Danilo was super knowledgeable and provided great hospitality. When I came recently, I placed the order for pick up at 11:30 am and didnt leave with my bagels till 11:55. So, I would recommend timing it better if you order online ahead of time. Parking - handicap accessible parking is available. But regular parking is very limited in the plaza.

I went here on their grand opening and they had a dj and it seemed organized in a chaotic way. It took about an hour to get the bagels and you can also order online. They have plain bagel flavors like: plain, sesame, everything bagel, and salted. They also have a bunch of different spreads and they rotate it every week. The ones that I tried today were the cacio e Pepe butter, plain, and scallions. I enjoyed the texture of their spreads. It was smooth and creamy. My favorite was the scallion one out of the three. The cacio e Pepe butter one was a bit too salty for me. The parking situation was one downside. I had to park across the street, and I can imagine that even after the initial hype dies down, parking will remain challenging since there doesn't appear to be a designated parking area.

My wife and daughter went to the one in NYC a few weeks ago, and they were raving so much about it. My daughter went to the Grand Opening today and waited 1.5 hours to order and came back with 9 bagels and 2 smears (scallion and spicy queso). The bagels were decent. The Everything Bagel seasoning was coated all the way around. The plain was good too. The outside had a good crunch and the inside was nice and doughy. Overall, a decent bagel....better than the big chain ones. The cream cheese was the star. The Scallion Smear was very yummy. Like a fresh version of the onion cream cheese you get at HEB. The Spicy Queso reminded me of pimento cheese. It wasn't that spicy. Overall, I'm not sure if I would drive that far and wait that long for this. I'm originally from NYC, had many bagels in my lifetime and this was good. It could be a little fluffier.

Thank you, PopUp Bagels, for allowing me to be one of the first customers at your Town & Country location! I've been eagerly waiting for months to try these bagels--not because I had heard of you before, but because I hadn't. As someone who loves authentic New York-style bagels, I know how difficult they are to find in Texas when done right. This morning, you absolutely made my heart smile with your genuine NYC-made bagels. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was colorful, eclectic, energetic, and fun. It felt like stepping into a neighborhood bagel shop right off Times Square. The management team and staff were warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. Now for the best part--the bagels! They were perfectly fluffy, packed with flavor, and seasoned to perfection. Watching the staff use traditional methods to create these masterpieces made it clear that I was in for a special experience. The chive cream cheese was absolutely stellar--silky, smooth, and the perfect complement to the bagels. The prices were fair, and I especially appreciated the generous bagel-to-schmear ratio. It's the little things that make a big difference! Thank you again for the outstanding hospitality--and for the hat! I highly recommend PopUp Bagels and can't wait to come back!!

Ok I am a peak annoying bagel snob and I got this last time in NYC and loved them, so I was super excited to hear they opened a shop down in Houston too! The bagels had the perfect crispy outer layer and a fluffy soft inside. The everything seasoning was on point. The salt bagel was a lot softer (probably because it had less seasoning on the outside) but also very good. The scallion cream cheese is the right answer to go with these and also incredible. Overall, great bagel spot and glad we have one out here!

    Note prices.
    Walter M.

It was decent bagels (expensive though) with a city corner vibe. I encountered a short line which moved quickly past the cashiers, however there was a wait of over 20 minutes after that for plain bagels. There is no inside seating and just a couple of sidewalk tables.

I've actually had Jersey type bagels before. I was so glad I made that decision as soon as I walked in I smelled the fresh baking aroma of bagels being made. The place has an open feel to it. The ambience was nice. There were employees working and they greeted me as I came in. The menu was very big. I'm not gonna lie, kinda overwhelming, but a good overwhelming because variety is the spice of life. I forget the employee's name, but she worked the cashier and asked me if it was my first time here and I said yes, and she gave me some great recommendations and I also saw that they had a wide variety of cream cheese to choose from she had me sample two of them and let me tell you who that bacon scallion cream cheese was on pizzoint! My order was the "BIG ED" Bacon scallion cream cheese Bacon Sausage Turkey Scrambled egg On an asiago bagel Funny enough I know a handful of people from Jersey who live out here now and I asked the employee if the owner was from Jersey and the employee said "yes she's sitting over there". I wanted to have a chat with the owner if she was available. I walked over and introduced myself and she had time to speak with me! I appreciate the owner for having a nice chat with me and me getting to know her a little. That bagel sandwich was super flavorful! Overall Pull up, to Jersey Bagel'
