Secondly, it has a nice long pier that allows customers to get close to the water. The inside lounge has many comfy chairs and couches that allow for relaxation and camaraderie. We were hesitant to get something from Canteen because they had been slammed all day with a crowd from their outdoor holiday market (also highly recommended), but took a chance. Two orders of fish and chips. Staff (probably exhausted from the busy day) were so kind and friendly. The order came out fast. Really good quality. We visited a couple of times for the oyster happy hour and had an excellent experience each time. The drinks are strong (thank you!) and the service is wonderful and we felt so welcomed each time. We like that it's kind of off the beaten path, despite signs on the main road advertising its shows and happy hour 3-6 PM, which is longer than most of the other happy hours in town, which typically end at 5 PM. The next time I'm in Ptown, I will be spending every Tues-Sat evening here :)

Since it opened in 2019, I've been dozens of times (and brought friends and family) and each time was rewarded with delicious food, beautifully plated, and friendly, helpful, and responsive service. Prices are competitive. On top of that, the view is one of the best in town and the owner, Frank, puts everything he has into making your dining experience top notch. I can't recommend Ocean 193 highly enough. You won't be disappointed!
