First let me say that Antonio is a salesman rockstar. He answered all my questions, sent me extra information photos of the vehicle. Provided me with all kinds of info the we work out a price I was happy with. So I told him I was buying it. I scheduled a flight and he set up a Lyft for me from the airport to the dealership. I arrived and everything, was already to go. I did grab a coffee while I waited for maybe 5 minutes while he was in a meeting. Then after looking the Grenadier it was just enough time for me to enjoy a hot chocolate before Joe the finance person came out to get me. Zero pressure to add anything, I just declined all the extras and signed saying we talked about them. Then I walked out and took a couple pictures next to my detailed vehicle and got on the road back to Ohio. I couldn't say enough about my experience here. Loved the loaner. The Svc advisor is a five. But the tech or mechanic was checking out the car fax because my car is Svc in Florida as well California. And some dealers don't submit everything that was done. Anyway think a few things were upsell !! Over all the car drives as well as it was new. The Svc they performed was done well. I can tell the difference. The upsell on Tires that have less than 23k on them and mostly highway miles should be changed. MUST READ!! PHENOMENAL experience from start to finish. I purchased a beautiful 2023 Cayenne and could not be happier. I decided to make an appointment and was pleasantly surprised by a personalized video message confirming my appointment the following day. When we arrived, we were greeted at the door by Scott, the General Manager. Our car was valet'd and we began to peruse the showroom floor. The showroom is immaculate - exactly what you would expect from a luxury dealership. A larger than life screen was playing the NASCAR Atlanta race, which our 4 year old thoroughly enjoyed. As we looked around, Scott offered to give us a tour of the facility, including the area where repairs are done. Shortly into our tour, we were joined by Nicalette, a member of the Sales Team, who informed me that the make, model and color vehicle I was interested in was parked infront. Nicalette proceeded to give me stats on the car and answer my questions as I took the car for a test drive. She was extremely knowledgeable, which was to be expected. However, her efforts to go above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed the experience were the most impressive. As I reviewed paperwork, she made sure my child had snacks and watched his favorite show on the large flat screen tv in her office. She brought him snacks and even showed him more cars in the showroom as I worked my way through the process of purchasing my vehicle. Scott remained incredibly attentive. He popped in several times and my Husband (who drives a BMW) even began looking at a few Porsches under Scott's recommendations. Everything we asked for was granted and everyone we encountered was extremely friendly. They even managed to make the most tedious and boring portion of the sale tolerable. Shout out to Justyna! After completing the sale, I was introduced to Andrea, the technical expert on all things related to Porsche. Andrea spent 40 minutes walking me through every aspect of how my new car functions. She went above and beyond by giving me her cell and letting me know I could come back as many times as I needed for an additional tutorial. When you make a luxury purchase, the price tag is commiserate w/the product, goods and services associated w/the brand. The Porsche team (Scott, Nicalette, Justyna, and Andrea) is just as dynamic as the vehicle. The experience was top tier. Scott has even convinced me to consider adding accessories to enhance the exterior of the car. This is my first Porsche but most certainly not my last. I was told that my car needed a great deal of catch up service because I never completed critical service. When I mentioned that I spent $6K on service at their dealer a year ago they first claimed I was wrong and then said they pulled the wrong car. Since every car has a unique VIN, I don't see how they "pulled the wrong record." I was told I would be called back explaining everything and never heard back. read more

They were no help and they will probably reply to this with some crap about how it was a software issue. However their story changed over and over and I was able to replicate the issues I originally had with the car again today even though I followed all of their instructions. I don't often leave reviews on commercial enterprises but this dealership and it's staff deserve recognition for our amazing experience. We saw an add for a pre owned Audi A5 on one of the automobile web sites and it was what we were looking for but was in Chicago -while we live near Columbus Ohio. My son and I rented a car from our area, one way, in order to drive to Chicago and pick up the automobile. However, I was not able to make arrangements to go until 5 days after my initial inquiry. Our primary contract from the beginning of the interaction to the end was David. Through the entire process David was extremely helpful and professional. I explained our situation to him and he immediately held the car for us even though we had not yet forwarded the deposit. (There were other customers interested in the car that day due to a substantial price drop 1-2 days prior.) David facilitated the deposit process and communicated with me frequently in order to reassure me that the car was being held for us until we could get to Chicago. The day of the trip, we encountered inclement weather and, by the time we were able to get into Chicago, it was close to closing time for both the car rental return and Downtown Porsche. We called David and he told us not to worry and to simply go to the car rental and return the car while he personally drove over to pick us up. Not only did everyone at the dealership stay late for us but we were treated the same as a customer purchasing a $175,000 Porsche, even though we were purchasing a $20,000 pre owned Audi A5. Everyone at the dealership welcomed us and made us feel that we were important customers. From top to bottom, the entire transaction was a pleasure. We were able to inspect the vehicle and it was and remains, one week later, perfect. The car had been completely serviced and equipped with new Michelin tires. David followed up with us the next few days and even gave us recommendations for sights to see in Chicago during our stay there. Overall, our experience with this establishment was "6 stars"! The only thing that I would recommend to improve is to show the vehicles in a warm place instead of outside specially in the winter time. It was very cold that I barely have time to admire the car outside. Besides that I trusted Anthony and the conditions of the vehicle were excellent with low miles. Frank Bertone-This guy is the worst salesman I have ever met in my life. I have purchased over 10 cars in the past 20 years, and I have never met a salesman like him. He is dishonest, deceitful, and he treats his customers unfairly. FTC and Illinois Attorney General have recently taken legal actions against Napleton Auto Group, earlier this year, so I'm very surprised that this type of behavior is still continuing. We have submitted our complaints to BBB, FTC, Illinois Attorney General, BACP, and to Porsche USA. On 6/13/22, my wife signed a retail purchase agreement for a New Porsche Macan 2022, with the out the door price of $74,542.89. This included a free front window tint, which the sales manager (Frank Bertone) and my wife both signed for. We put down a $5,000 deposit, and waited for our car. Due to delay in shipping, our car didn't come in until 7/28/22. Just when we were about to pick-up the car, Frank sent us a new purchase agreement that had a higher price than what we had signed for. The following events occurred after we signed the contract on 6/13/22: 6/30/22: My wife received a text from Frank that the car was delayed until early August. We decided to go with another vehicle that was already in stock; however, there were unnecessary, forced options of $1800 added onto the vehicle (i.e. Porsche App). Frank simply stated that we could not refuse these options. We declined the offer, and told him that we will just wait for our original vehicle. 7/14/22: Received a text from Frank that the car was pushed back again to end of August. Frustrated, we asked him what vessel the car was assigned to. He informed us that the vessel was not yet assigned. 7/18/22: Was notified that our vehicle was assigned to Siem Aristotle. When we looked up the vessel, we found out that Siem Aristotle left the port on 7/12/22. This indicates that when Frank texted us to say that the car was "pushed back", the vessel was already assigned, and it was on its way. Meanwhile, he was trying to sell us the car that we previously declined, for MSRP. 7/28/22: We received a text that our vehicle should be arriving the following day. We told Frank that we wanted to pick up the car once the front window tints were finished. We agreed to pick up the car on 8/2/22. 8/1/22: We requested an updated purchase agreement that reflected our new down payment. An additional $173.39 was added to the total amount. When asked about this discrepancy, Frank made an excuse that there was a mistake on his end in taxes, and that the extra fees added reflected the correct amount. We refused to pay the new price, simply because it was not what we signed for. Frank's first instinct to this conflict was to cancel the deal. Despite our refusal, he continued with the refund process. We understand that $173.39 is not a significant amount of money. However, as you can see from our experience, Frank's dishonesty and his fraudulent behaviors made him untrustworthy. He ended up breaching a binding contract, which led us to writing this review. read more

I brought my 996 Porsche in to have a new key programmed. They did program it. However, while the vehicle was in their possession, they put a chip the size of a dime on the hood. They admitted that it was their fault and asked me to bring it back I'm in so that they could fix it. I did bring it back and their attempt to "touch it up" was no better than a 10 year would have done. In speaking with Simon, the service manager I let him know how totally unsatisfied I was. He assured me if I brought the vehicle back in, he would make certain that it would be repaired properly. So for the 3rd time I drove in from Indiana to have it repaired. Basically. They only touched it up. Anyone who owns a Porsche knows there are over 13 layers of paint and if it is chipped down to bare metal, something serious happened. I again explained my unhappiness with their feeble attempt. Simon then said, the chip was already there when I brought it in. I said, so show me the pics you took of the car and we'll see if what you say is true. Then he mumbled that they aren't available and that we simply disagree. I would NEVER set foot in Chicago Downtown Porsche ever again and I would strongly urge anyone thinking about doing so, go ANYWHERE else. read more

Flushed brake fluid $1272 labor on a $1965 bill, Took car to another Porsche, fluid all over antifreeze all over oil all over, They wanted to change tires, replace brakes rotors and said I had nail in right rear tire, I took it to a tire place no nail. I made many many mistakes in purchasing Toyota from Napleton Porsche Downtown Chicago . First mistake ,I trusted the 2 salesman at Napleton 2nd I bought a Toyota from a Porsche dealer (truck wasn't Toyota certified).3rd purchased vehicle with low pressure warning light on dash ( they did replace sensors ) 4 th I didn't listen to my gut feeling.I had a feeling that something more complex and wrong with vehicle after test driving truck .After buying Toyota ,I returned truck for service after 5 days because too much vibration in steering wheel . They had truck for 2 weeks . They said tires were bad .At first they wanted me to pay for new tires I had to complain to get tires replaced only because I trusted the words of the salesmen that the truck would be perfect if I bought it . I must admit dealership did step up replaced tires but vibration still in steering wheel .Now if I want to trade truck in I will lose thousands in trade in value so I am stuck with a 2018 truck that is not very dependable or safe . read more

Where do I even start? This by far was the worst experience I had and it would've been my third time purchasing a foreign car. Customer service is a huge factor for me and Porsche and Anthony just did not deliver. So many red flags. I told Anthony I wanted to know my options for leasing/financing I my business/personal credit. Anthony completely disregarded the idea f leasing by saying "oh you have to pay all these leasing taxes." He also disregarded the business option by saying "your rates will be higher" as if I'm not the one spending MY money. After running my credit he claimed that based on my score Porsche would only approve me if I put down 20-25,000 down payment and instead of getting the GTS I'd have to get the base model. So we agree to an amount for the down payment, I leave to go get a cashier's check and return to proceed at 9 months pregnant. Anthony tells me the finance person has left for the day and they're gonna put me in a loaner car to come back and finish up at later date. So why not tell me that before I came back with the check? Then because he refused to give me else options I had no choice but to give them documents for financing. The stubs I gave them was 5k more than what I put on the application yet Anthony still continued to ask me for a stub from another source of income after telling me I was approved and good to go. The following day he texted me saying the windows had been tinted as promised then less than 30 mins later he said they were on the way to tint the windows and wanted to make sure I was still moving forward. So of course me being 9 months pregnant what happens, I can't get the loaner back as scheduled due to schedule conflicts. Anthony told me the loaner had been promised to someone else although we never arranged a time for me to come back then less than 30 minutes later, he stated his GM didn't mind me keeping the loaner if I would let them come and pick up my check which they felt was only "FAIR." So the day of, Anthony called/texted me countless times asking what time I'd be in so there wouldn't be overlapping appts and because someone else needed the loaner car. I dropped the loaner car off and left. I refuse to do business with someone so unprofessional and can't keep up with the lies they tell.
