WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! 5.0 Whether you're already a Porsche fanatic or simply looking for more hands-on experiences to help make that decision, PECLA is the place to be. After visiting PECLA several times, I've surmised that the acronym should really be changed from Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles to: Pushing Every Car to Its Limits...Always PECLA offers an immersive introduction to the Porsche brand, along with a variety of Driver Development courses. Through their website, you can reserve an experience and choose the type of Porsche you'd like to drive. You can even select a model you already own, giving you the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of how your own car handles in different environments and situations. I've had several different experiences here at PECLA, and every one has been exceptional. On two occasions, I was invited to participate in an all-ladies event where we tackled specific circuits: autocross, wet skid pad, off-roading, kick plate, the track, and my personal favorite...the launch pad. In the Turbo S, you'll rocket alongside the 405, going from 0-60 mph in less than 2.5 seconds. Tip: Be sure to place the back of your head firmly against the headrest before launching. Trust me on this one! On another visit, we were treated to a private tour of the impressive workshop, visible from the showroom through a massive glass window. This is certainly not your typical service center. Here, they work on race cars and heritage vehicles, making the workshop a fascinating behind-the-scenes glimpse into Porsche's racing and automotive history. If you're into SIM racing, there's also an area where you can hop into a SIM rig and race against other drivers, or simply chase your own personal best (PB). It's a great way to practice the driving line, find the apex and work on braking points. Then there's the dining experience at Restaurant 917, located upstairs with sweeping views of the pit area and track below. Reservations are a must and can be made through OpenTable™, as lunch fills up quickly. We've dined here twice for special evening events and twice for lunch. The food was wonderful! They even serve adorable little pats of butter molded into Porsche sports cars. The setting feels intimate, polished and wonderfully exclusive. Probably one of the most incredible experiences we've had was partaking in a delivery experience of a new 911 Turbo S (992.1). We enjoyed an afternoon of circuit driving, then was escorted into a special delivery room and asked to sign a numbered placard that would be displayed on the wall. The placard was later mailed to us as a keepsake; a wonderful memento of a very special day. Another unforgettable experience was having the opportunity to build a GT3 RS and send it through CXX in Germany. It's so much more than simply speccing a car; it's the ultimate automotive indulgence of choosing virtually every detail, including whatever exterior color and interior combination your heart desires. Amy at PECLA finalized everything for us, and the finished car turned out beautifully! Lastly, the one experience we haven't yet managed to do is the Morning Shift, held every third Sunday of the month. Be sure to check their website for the current schedule. One day, we'd love to make the drive down to Southern California and partake in this awesome cars 'n coffee gathering. We absolutely love the Porsche brand and would highly recommend PECLA to anyone who wants to experience what these cars can really do in a fun and controlled environment. So, my parents went back last weekend knowing this Lady named Fili treated us badly and with outmost disrespect!!!! But we are a family of loyalty and respect. With that said they were anything but excited when they ran into her. She walks and talks like she owns the place! Even the security guards were laughing about how she acts. Just shameful!! I did this experience yesterday. It is expensive for an hour and a half. But it is absolutely an amazing experience. Mike was a great instructor for an hour and a half. He taught me how to drive my own car better although thank goodness I didn't take my own car out in the track would not recommend using your own car. Then spent the other half a time driving a beautiful 911. You will drive these cars in a way that you would never drive your own car. I will definitely be going back and trying more cars. read more

Wow this was fun and exhilarating! We went with a group of about 50 people from work and some of our customers. We were able to drive on multiple tracks to really test out the different models of Porsche. I reached 118mph on the straight away only to break hard to make a sharp hairpin turn! Another course had us in full 5 inch water with a spin out to test the traction! Yet another course was on dirt/gravel with some super steep 78 degrees decline. The coaches were awesome and none of us managed to crash and they kept us very safe. I would recommend this experience to anyone who likes to drive. read more

We had plans to experience the 911 Turbo S Demo lap with a professional driver, and I thought we would have to reschedule because somehow it was going to rain in SoCal on the day of the event! Turns out professional drivers do know how to drive in the rain! Haha! So we did not end up rescheduling. We were told that it would be one of the more dangerous driving conditions and we would be drifting...but it would still be a fun experience. The showroom had so many cool vehicles to look at, and there was a coffee shop and a gift shop to buy clothing, model cars, and more. When my turn came around, I got into the car and buckled up. The professional driver told me to hold on and told me what to expect as he drove...look towards the right, look towards the left...we are starting our next lap, etc. I can see how some people can get nervous but I enjoyed the high speeds and the tight turns and never once felt any fear. Most incredible experience ever!! I'm not a car person but pushing limits on these cars with guided instruction was a lot of fun! The 911 and cayenne experiences were my favorite. The instructors really earn you trust right away and give the confidence to drive as intended. I'm sure I was driving 100x slower than they do but it felt really fast to me and that's all that matters. The facility is very nice and the food at the restaurant is great. We had a prefixed meal for a party so I'm not sure if the regular menu has the items we had but I can say that the quality and flavors were great! What a fun place! We took our in laws to dine here since they are fans of Porsche. It was so cool to see them so excited especially with the surprise of the amazing view of the racetrack! We went on a random tuesday and was pleasantly surprised how many guests were there celebrating their birthdays with a drive on the racetrack followed by a meal at the nice restaurant upstairs after and the food was surprisingly delicious! They also had some cool models on display as well as a gift shop with all the tasteful porsche merchandise. There was also a cafe too, we were too full to order anything, but i would be curious to see if they have any branding for their latte art. If not, that'd be a great touch. I booked a birthday surprise for my husband -- a demonstration lap in the GT4 with a professional driver -- and he absolutely loved it! The ride was super thrilling; he said his body literally lifted slightly from the speed and G-forces. It's definitely a short experience (just a few minutes), but you're paying for the adrenaline rush, and it delivers. At first, I thought it might be more fun to drive on the track ourselves, but after watching the pros in action, I realized it's best left to them -- no regular driver could match that skill, precision, or confidence at those speeds. The demonstration lap is 100% worth it if you want the real race-track thrill. We also tried the simulator experience, but I'd recommend skipping it. It felt more like a high-end arcade game with slightly better steering feedback, but the setup made us a bit nauseous after a while. Overall, it was a super fun day -- starting with lunch at Restaurant 917, followed by the exhilarating laps. A perfect combo for car enthusiasts and thrill seekers alike! read more

Best Christmas gift ever!! Easy to get to. Close to both 110 and 405 freeways. Large parking lot. Entrance and greeting is fantastic. Check in and get your personalized badge with lanyard matched to your specific car/drive experience. Can check out the facility and even the restaurant if you go when it's open. Meet your coach is where it begins. Fortunately I was paired with an absolutely amazing coach named Nate. Nate has an extremely friendly and welcoming demeanor, great at making you comfortable but while also pushing you and ensuring you gain new skills, increase confidence level, and overall have an amazing time. Highly recommend requesting Nate when booking your experience. I took out the 718 GT4 RS. Definitely recommend!! Super raw and visceral experience. The car sounds awesome. Mid engine is well balanced and tracks exceptionally well. Cannot recommend trying this highly enough. Can't wait to come back and try out a 911 GT3!! read more

Good experience overall at the Porsche Experience Center LA. Everything was well organized, the instructor was professional, and the cars were great to drive. I was finally able to experience PECLA after wanting to go for many years. The whole experience was worth every penny! The coach was very patient in teaching different aspects of driving to someone who's had zero experience on a racetrack or in a 911. The 90 minute option takes you through various dry and wet courses ranging from driving through a racetrack to holding a drift in a circle (my favorite part). Personal suggestion: if you're relatively new at this, the Carrera S option is probably your best bet. It's more than enough car for 99% of people and it costs way less than the other cars. read more

What an EXPERIENCE it is! I purchased the 90minute 911 Carrera 4S package for my husband. I accompanied him and got to watch him drive. They have 2 observation areas where you can watch the action. The drivers are very knowledgeable and explain the process well. His driver met us and gave us a quick walkthrough of the venue and walked us to my husband's assigned car. My husband said the driving portion is exhilarating and gives you a whole new appreciation for the vehicle's power and handling. While I waited, I got a coffee from the Cafe and it was nice and strong! The cold brew definitely had a good kick. The 90 minutes seemed to fly by for him and for me as well. After the experience, we had lunch at 917. We both had burgers and wine. The burgers were delicious and the sauvignon was nice and chilled. Had to opportunity to experience driving multiple cars and tracks during a vendor event. The staff here are top notch, including the coaches. Their customer service is incredible and really helped to put the whole experience over the top. Driving a 718 GTS 4.0, 992 Carrera S, and a Cayenne S were all exhilarating in their respective tracks and each coach knew how to make your driving experience a ton of fun, even on the off-road course. The food at 917 was very good with top notch service staff as well. The facilities are clean and the view from the restaurant was great, overlooking the courses. A track that will let you get up to high speeds, do wipe outs in water and more! Of course this whole experience will cost you a pretty penny! Plus center offers a small museum of Porsches that you can learn about some really cool classic Porsches. If driving is not your thing or if you prefer to admire these fine automobiles you can do this on the sideline. The center offers fine dining upstairs with good views of the track or you can enjoy the cafe downstairs. Also there is an option to just watch on the balcony upstairs on downstairs along the track. My husband Matt B. got a gift certificate to the Porsche Experience Center for his 40th birthday. Unfortunately for him, he had two kids under four at the time. We left them to grow for a couple years before taking them to Carson for this dad-centric planned leisure activity. The Porsche Experience Center is more or less what it sounds like, a place where you can experience the Porsche brand in several ways. There are cars on display, as well as simulators, a gift shop, a restaurant, and a café. The main attraction, though, is the drive experience, where you select a Porsche and drive around a track with a professional driver. You have to really like cars to be into this--the drives start at $600 and are either 90 minutes or four hours long. You'd have to pay me $600 to drive around a track for four hours. I guess people love Porsches, though, because the experiences book out really far in advance. Matt reserved his drive over a month out, picking a 911 Carrera S, one of the more modestly priced options. It cost $775. We decided last minute to make it a family trip, since both of our boys, two and five, have a general interest in cars. We figured they might enjoy watching Daddy drive around the track, though to be perfectly honest, I didn't realize it was a 90-minute commitment until we got there. Thankfully, there was a comfortable shaded balcony where we could watch with the other kids and partners. I was able to sit while my boys ran around, sometimes watching their dad through the glass barrier. They got a little bored and restless, but the area was enclosed so they couldn't go anywhere without me. At one point, I decided to take them to the simulators, which we'd been told when we arrived would be suitable for the children. I was pretty annoyed when we got to the simulator room and the attendant said they were too young to play with the valuable machines. I was surprised and grateful they didn't protest and took them to look at the gift shop. I should have anticipated this, but the gift shop was full of things that looked like toys but were in fact expensive collector items. That's kind of the Porsche Experience Center in a nutshell--fancy cars go zoomy zoom zoom, but for grown-ups with money to burn. Matt had a great drive and spoke highly of his instructor, a race car driver named Regan. (She was really nice to me and the kids too, taking pictures for us and letting the boys sit in the 911.) He got to drive faster than he'd ever driven in his life, getting up to something like 115mph on the straightest part of the track. We watched from the balcony, though there were two dark blue Porsches going at the same time and neither my children nor I could tell which one was Daddy's. There were a couple of areas with water on the ground, where cars splashed and spun around. That looked kind of fun, even if it worried our two-year-old, who kept shouting, "No, Daddy, don't go in the water!" The drive experience wrapped up at 11, and we stuck around for an early lunch. The main restaurant books out months in advance, but there was a café downstairs where we figured we could get something to eat. We stopped by Restaurant 917 anyway, just in case they had an opening, and were able to grab a table, no problem. I'm guessing reservations are tough because the restaurant leaves space for guests to walk in after their $600+ drives. We had a pleasant lunch and despite some squirminess, the kids enjoyed the morning outing. I'm not the intended audience for the Porsche Experience Center, but I'm glad we went, and my husband had a total blast. read more

I purchased an experience for my son's 30th birthday. It was a special birthday so I sprung for an unforgettable experience driving a couple of Porsches. I got him a 718 Cayman GT4 vs 911 GT3 Experience for 90 minutes. His girlfriend and I kept it a secret and he only found out when they arrived there for his experience. My son was so excited when they got there and he told me that he will remember this experience for the rest of his life! He said that the driver that he followed was very experienced and encouraged him to go faster to keep up with him. This is a great deal of fun. They really teach you all about the Porsche, and what they can do. You learn how to slide, spin,drift, cornering, and launch control! I have to tell you. I love the track driving, but launch control was a real rush, I mean a serious rush. For the record. I drive a corvette C8. Not a slouch of a car at all, but these cars really kick you in the seat. Ask for Cam, and yes, his name really is, Cam..lol He was just the best, and made sure I really learned new skills before the 90 minutes were up. I can't say enough about how great it was. read more

A car enthusiast's playground! This place is awesome! You can either bring your own Porsche to drive on their track, or choose one of their many experiences that they offer. You can choose a demo lap to ride passenger in a Porsche of your choosing, or you can choose to drive 1 (or a few) Porsches for a few laps. There's a big cost difference, of course. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday to have a demo lap in a GT3RS. Upon arrival, you'll check in at the front desk and the person driving or doing a demo lap will receive a lanyard with their name on it. Any guests not doing anything will receive a visitor sticker to wear. There's a few cars inside to look at, a little gift shop, and a cafe with outdoor seating that you can check out while waiting. There's also couches and chairs to sit at in the middle of the place. When it was almost time for her demo lap we got in line, then shortly after the car pulled up to pick her up. We snapped a few photos then she was off! The driver demonstrated the launch control at the beginning and zoomed quickly around the 1.3mi track. They were literally done in less than 2 minutes and she exited the car with a big smile. Definitely a good place for a date (especially if you book a reservation at Restaurant 917) or for fun. Easy parking, good customer service, and a good time. I recommend this place! read more

Waste of money for the VR simulator. I had gifted two VR experiences to my brother and husband for Christmas. When we arrived we were told that only one VR simulator was working so they would have to refund us for the second one. Then halfway through my brother's drive his simulator broke down and had to switch systems. It was such a bummer overall. The employee was kind, but really wish they would've told us earlier that way we wouldn't have come all the way out here and wasted our time and money. My husband said overall the experience felt worth $20 at most. Porsche should be embarrassed to put their name on that type of experience. read more

I wanted seat time in a Taycan and Macan EV outside of a sales process, to see if they might be on the short list. This was a lot of fast driving (track and launch control), technical driving (auto cross), pushing vehicles past their limits (polished concrete and hydraulic kick plate) and recovery. Great instructor, learned a lot, had fun, and got to directly compare two very different Porsche products in the process. Highly recommended. September 2025 (weekday) Loved my lunch/visit - every single contact was 5 stars. I was a one-person walk-in for lunch (note - unfortunately, you cannot make a dining reservation for 1 person; the system starts at 2 people and up). I was seated quickly, at a great table in the second row from the window (window tables have the best view, of course, but the next row has a very good view too). Lunch was fresh and delicious, with excellent service (about $50/person). Pretzel bread comes out hot, with a little butter surprise that I won't spoil. I ordered the 917 Wagyu burger - comes with fries - delicious. 90 mins is budgeted for each table, but I never felt rushed. Be sure to visit the balcony just outside the restaurant, which gives the best view of the auto course. The cafe is on the lower level, with its own patio, but has a flat/same height view of the track. Complete your visit with a up close self-tour of about 6 cars in the gallery; the simulation area; and gift shop. A very cool place to visit - right off the 110 fwy with lots of on-site parking. I'll be back...and next time, I'll start with a roaring ride around the track! read more

5 STAR ALL THE WAY!!!! First time here with Co-NetWomen, a women's business networking group that knows how to mix business with the smell of burning rubber! As soon as you check in at the front desk, you're greeted by a parade of vintage Porsches and the roar of engines on the track. I managed to snag a ride in a GT3, and let me tell you, the driver was so good I thought they were auditioning for the next Fast & Furious movie. Zooming through turns at 98 to 100 mph, the car stuck to the track like it was coated in superglue. I had about five mini heart attacks thinking we were going to roll over, but nope, the driver and the car were like, "We've got this!" By the time I climbed out, I was grinning from ear to ear, though my stomach was doing somersaults. After the ride of my life, we headed upstairs to a private room for a fancy and delicious prefix menu lunch. The food was excellent and the presentation was spectacular. Seriously, if you haven't done this, clear your calendar and make a day of it. You won't regret it! I highly recommend this for anybody and totally affordable. read more

If you're a Porschephile and/or in. SoCal, make time to plan for track session. Eddie, my instructor, helped me understand difference in driving dynamics btwn rear engine Carrera S and mid-engine Cayman. Surprisingly, both cars were more than competent (their limits exceeded mine) on track so I can't imagine need for GT cars. Launch control led to uncontrollable laughter. Wet skid pad and kick pad were great opportunities to learn how to control car during understeer & oversteer as well as accident avoidance. Plus they have a teen driver's ed session for younger aspiring fans. Only downside is cost and I can't call this work. read more

I was given a gift voucher for Porsche 911 Turbo ride by a professional driver in their track for four minutes for the tune of over $120 by my family today. We went there one hour early at 3:30 pm and had a walking tour inside the big museum of sorts and their upstairs restaurant and downstairs gift shop and snack place. The whole experience was underwhelming for the money. The entire ride was a four minute fast ride around the track as a passenger and the restaurant closed at 2:30 pm. There were many people who were there at 4:30 pm for the ride. Overall I wouldn't probably pay that much. It was just way too expensive for a quick joyride. read more

I made a reservation wayyyy in advance for the restaurant for my boyfriend's birthday. I added a request for us to get a window seat because my boyfriend LOVES Porsche and wanted to see the cars on the track obviously. We get to the front desk and they tell us that they can't seat us at a window seat because there was another party waiting for it so we get seated in one of the middle seats. That wasn't the problem though, the problem was that the front desk told us the kitchen was going to close soon so she couldn't seat us at the window anymore. Well, while we're seated, we see groups leave and everyone else was getting seated at the window. That was just annoying to me because everyone was getting seated there but we couldn't. Besides that, service was good from our waiter, he was attentive and kind and kept checking up on us to make sure everything was okay. Food was also pretty good, I really enjoyed the food. Prices are fair for the portions. My boyfriend liked it but I asked if he would come back and he said probably not, but definitely was worth a try! read more

I took my fiancé here for a date day and let's just say it was absolutely amazing. We both enjoyed ourselves so much I definitely would go back. The views were. So dope you're able to see people test driving the Porsche cars. The service was amazing. Everybody was absolutely very friendly and helpful an attendant to your needs. The food was delicious. We got the burger medium well and it was full of flavor. I also like how they brought out pretzel bread with mini shape car butters very creative little touches like that make the experience 10 times better. Downstairs you're able to purchase merchandise from Porsche and you're also able to view a few cars. Please make sure to make reservations in advance. This place gets booked up quickly. read more
