Porsches are great cars but over the last few years I have developed a true disdain for our local dealership. Service fees have gone through the roof for non warranted service. Lately my issue has been with sales. I have left my name with three different sales people letting them know what I am looking for. In last 2 years, I've received exactly zero calls from Porsche Jacksonville. I've looked online sporadically and seen cars fitting my request, but when I call Porsche, I'm told the cars are already sold. Last Thursday morning, March 23rd I dropped my 2018 Cayenne (which I purchased new from this dealership) at 8:45am off for regular service and for the 2nd AC repair it's unfortunately needed within the last 8 months (already an aggravating situation). On Monday morning, I was told my car was ready for pickup. I paid online and let them know what time I'd arrive. When I arrived, no one was available to help but I eventually got someone to pull my car around. When it pulled up, it had VERY obviously sustained damage while it was in the dealership's possession. The black matte vinyl 3M wrap around the window's trim was partially torn off (a 2-3' section) and damaged in other areas (this wrap was professionally installed at a shop their sales team recommended at the time of purchase). There was no such damage when I dropped it off, as confirmed by the photos taken by the dealership at the time of dropoff. Nobody on their team noticed or red flagged this damage and didn't seem to know what to do. Eventually, the service manager walked out and looked at it and having never acknowledged my presence (let alone offered any apology, as nobody has done at any time), I was told that "they would look into it" and that I should hold on to my loaner. Three days later, I've still received no answers, no proposed solutions, and the service department has become largely unresponsive. I reached out through the dealership's contact form Wednesday morning as well as to the GM directly but have not yet heard anything back from anyone. I've requested that I approve the details of any repairs to the damage but again, nothing has been submitted to me for review. To say that a Porsche Jacksonville customer should be able to reasonably--and legally--expect to receive their car back from their service department in the same (or better) condition than it was dropped off in would be an understatement, no? Unfortunately that does not appear to be the case these days. read more

Just moving to Jacksonville this was my second visit to Porsche of Jacksonville. The first time I purchased a small inexpensive part for my truck's back windshield wiper in which I was going to replace myself. However, when the part came in, the service staff was kind enough to walk me to my truck and replace it for me free of charge. The second time my service guy Charles was very friendly and professional which would have made this review a 5-Star, however, since I'm rating overall, I gave it a 4-Star because the part doesn't equal the price. Today I had to replace my broken key and have the new key reprogramed to my truck which cost me $498.00 in total!!! I'm sure it's a "set" price, however, it seems outrageous for a new key to cost more than an oil change and a little less than a brake job! I've been a Porsche owner for 14 years and a coupon or small discount would have been nice. ‍ Also they were supposed to wash my truck but they either forgot or did not have time. The staff apologized and told me to bring it back for the wash. Overall, the experience was good and the waiting area was well stocked with snacks and coffee. read more

We had to get our annual service done on our Porsche Macan and brought it here. I love that when you get work done on your car here they give you a courtesy car, we were given a cayenne (which I can truly say sold me and next time, I'm getting a cayenne) and while the servicing took a week or so, I didn't mind because the cayenne was fantastic! The dealership was so good about communicating the status and progress of our car. I can also say this dealership is very clean and new looking. The salesmen were also very keen on answering all our questions to figure out which car we want to get later this year. I love Porsche's, I must admit so I have a bias but excellent dealer with great staff. read more

Amazing customer service from Jamie in Porsche parts. I'm at a Porsche shop in California so he even had to ship the part. When I called, in a rush for a disabled car on our rack, Jamie was out back, short handed. He said he'd call back after I gave him the part number to confirm and my phone number. I have not purchased a new vehicle here yet but I have been a customer of their service department. Jennifer W. has helped me in the past two times- one scheduled 60K maintenance visit and a more urgent visit recently for fixing spark plug / ignition coil. Bottom line, great service! I was updated on the progress of my car while it was in the shop on a nearly daily basis. When I initially inquired about some of my car spark plug / ignition coil issue, Jennifer called me even past their work hours to ensure me that they will try to help me get the car back on the road quickly. There are several reviews on here that had complaints about pricing on services / parts etc which is a little unfair. I think what they charge is probably close to expected market value for Porsche service / parts. What they can control is customer service, which is excellent in my opinion. Sometimes this reputation is more important. read more

I was looking for a used BMW X3 online when I came across the Porsche Jacksonville website. I had found numerous cars in the past on multiple websites but was turned off by all the hidden fees and lack of transparency. Jacksonville was 4 hours away from where I lived so I contacted the dealership and requested all the information about the car. I spoke to Carl in sales and he was so honest, genuine and timely on sending me the info. When I decided to move forward with the car he worked with me on my budget and the whole transaction was seamless. I had been to at least 6 dealerships before hand and I can honestly say working with this dealership was the best experience in every way possible. Went to the gym early today. After the gym I decided since I'm off, I'm going to the Porsche dealership to see if they still have the vehicle that I saw online. I get there excited about possibly getting my new car? No one came out to help me or even acknowledge me. Salesmen came out and just were helping each other out. A couple comes to the lot who I briefly exchanged pleasantries with. When the salesmen saw them they broke their necks to help them. Funny thing is they were killing time for their movie to start. I was actually going to buy. It was disgusting and obvious the way I was treated. I will never go back there to spend my money. I ended up getting a great treatment along with a great deal elsewhere. This review is regarding new car sales at Porsche Jacksonville. It is a real shame that this review needs to be written, but I am hopeful others will benefit from our experience. More than 80 days ago, my better half and I walked into Porsche Jacksonville to test drive the new Taycan's. This was the first new car she had ever purchased and was excited to be able to afford a Porsche. The overall sales and finance experience was exceptional and then the real problem arose. As with all new/used cars the dealer is responsible for processing DMV paperwork to get license plates issued. Porsche Jacksonville as with other dealers began the titling paperwork within days of us signing the paperwork and we assumed our tags would be delivered within a few weeks. Fast-forward more than 80 days and we now have a brand car that can't be legally driven on public roads because it has no registration or license plates. It is literally collecting dust. After reaching out to Porsche Jacksonville to cover a rental car while they continued to await license plates we were ignored. So now we wait, with a car that can't be driven and car payments continuing to be paid out each month while we wait. This an example of when things go terribly wrong with a dealership. read more

Service department went downhill and when this was reflected honestly on a Porsche survey with an 8/10 rating, they flipped out and had the audacity to scold me, even when I showed them screenshots proving the lack of response and significant delay in service. I was in search of a 2015 Certified Pre-Owned Porsche GT3 and located one that was in my targeted price range from Porsche of Jacksonville. (I am an out-of-state buyer) When I initially inquired about the car and subsequently prior to negotiating the final price, I had asked John Schaefer several specific questions over the phone. Two of the questions were: What is the condition of the tires? John replied verbally and via a later text message that the tires had been "replaced" How did you (Porsche of Jacksonville) acquire the car? John replied "It was traded in for a new (2018) GT3" Upon review of the CPO paperwork, the tire tread depth was listed as 4mm & 5mm and the "Vehicle Source" was checked as "Auction". John subsequently confirmed that was an error by the Service Department and once again stated "the car was traded in for a new (2018) GT3." I had also asked John if he could locate any paperwork on the tires being "replaced". The overall condition of the car was excellent and clearly reflected pride of ownership by the previous two owners. After driving the car 450+ miles back home, the next morning I observed that the tires had manufacture dates of "0714" and 0814". My immediate thought was that these are the original tires and they were in fact not "replaced". While I felt that I paid a fair price for the car and thoroughly enjoy it, potentially being misled about the condition of the tires was concerning. I shared my concerns with John Schaefer and subsequently spoke with Joe Romano (General Sales Manager) at length. John stood by his statement and Joe repeatedly asked me if I wanted him to take the car back. I reiterated that it not about the price I paid but rather about what appears to be misleading statements by John. I was able to locate and subsequently speak with the prior owner of the car. He confirmed a few things for me. As the owner of the car for approx. two years, He DID NOT replace the tires on the car and confirmed that there were in fact the original tires. Furthermore, he stated that he DID NOT "order a new (2018) GT3". While the tires did have a reported 4mm and 5mm of remaining tread depth, why was I lied to about them being "replaced"? There's a significant difference between a $2000 set of tires being "replaced" and tires that are 4+ years old regardless of the remaining tread depth. Furthermore, why was I lied to about the prior owner trading the car in for a new (2018) GT3 when the prior owner confirmed that did not occur either? After sharing my concerns with Joe Romano, He immediately went into putting a political spin on the situation. Multiple e-mail exchanges kept reiterating a "misunderstanding" and "If" the statements were made. Joe Romano subsequently stated "I apologize again if someone had told you the tires were replaced, obviously in our conversation I tried to reiterate that it was not the case." As with the false statements made to me by John Schaefer, Joe Romano is now lying to me claiming that he "tried to reiterate" that the tires were not replaced. Furthermore, Joe's blatant refusal to acknowledge and accept the fact that John Schaefer lied to me on multiple occasions and now Joe is lying to me about telling me the tires were in fact not replaced, clearly reflects serious integrity issues. Regardless of tire tread depth, lying to customers is not a good sales methodology. p.s. Brandon Starks was copied on all of the e-mails and to this date, not a single word from him. read more

Just called to schedule my body work that was estimated and quoted about two weeks ago. I was transferred back and forth between service and the body shop and could never get it scheduled. The body shop receptionist was apologetic but she didn't appear to know what she was doing. I told her we'd already gotten a quote and I wanted to schedule the work to be done now that the insurance company had approved it. She said her first available appointment was 4/19 but she didn't know if the parts would be in. She couldn't help me if I couldn't tell her who did the quote so I hung up frustrated after talking with her. How do I give this company business? read more

Bought a new Porsche from Hall (pronounced as in Hall & Oates) he was wonderful. Many visits and test drives until we found the perfect model for our family. We've only been treated respectfully and they really go out of their way in customer service for us. The service department has us in and out no problem and they always have a loaner ready to go. I'm not sure what everybody else is complaining about this place is probably the most competent Porsche dealership I've ever been to. The whole sales process was very fair and simple no trying to upsell me for any extended warranties whatever we win in knowing we wanted we bought the model we loved and we walked away with a fair price and a pretty good deal. read more

Was really excited to buy a particular porsche model and came into the dealership and picked out the car I wanted, turns out they sold the car which was understandable but later the same salesperson called me to let me know they brought another new car of the same model in, I came in the store saw the car and was excited about it but looked at the odometer and only after asking about the milage was told the car was actually used when he had originally presented it to us as a new car, I have since bought a new AMG GT model mercedes and received exceptional service. This dealership is the most customer focused car store I have ever dealt with and made the buying experience a pleasure. The sale staff are very professional and knowledgeable and will fit you in the right car for you, they are not here just to sell you the most expensive car but genuinely want you to be satisfied and be a happy member of the Porsche family. Don't use - horrible dealership! My 911 was 30 days out of warranty when a bolt holding a bracket for belts sheared off. An obvious latent defect in the metal but all I got from the service department at Porsche of Jax was lip service and BS. They didn't even try to get the obvious defect covered - I know this because I asked for the name of the Porsche rep who they talked to and after 3 requests, I got a BS excuse how they couldn't share the info because it's confidential but they put my info into an algorithm (Yes I'm not making this up - that's actually the BS explanation I got) and the algorithm said it wasn't covered. In putting the information into the "algorithm"they didn't even get the info correct - the bolt sheared off in my driveway in park - I told them this repeatedly but their paper work says it sheared off while driving, an obvious attempt to try to blame me for a defect in the metal. I've had a lot of cars, Chevys, Honda's, VWs, Kias, Pontiac's and none ever had boots shear off! One would think that Porsche, being high end German Engineering, would stand behind the defect and fix it - perhaps they would if I had a remotely competent dealership in Jax. Also, again 30 days out of warranty, Porahxe Jax tried to tell me I needed to spend another $8k in repairs - yea just discovered 30 days out of warranty! Don't use this dealer - their service department is dishonest - can only imagine who bad their sales department is! read more

I have done business with Brumos (now Fields) Porsche for 6-7 years and purchased 3 vehicles from them. Under the prior ownership, Brumos, everything worked smoothly from the start of the transaction to the delivery of the vehicle. This is my first purchase since Fields acquired Brumos. Fields has brought in some new people. Everything started off fairly well, not as smooth as in prior transactions, but overall pretty good. The new Cayenne was delivered in mid January 2020. I live a long distance from the dealership but they put the new vehicle on a flat bed and dropped the vehicle at my front door. Fantastic. But from there, things have not gone well. First, there were 20-25 documents for me to sign. That is fine. I expect to sign docs. But I was told I could not keep any document I signed. The Finance people would mail me copies of the Sales Agreement and other docs. 3 months later, and I am still waiting to receive the docs. I have called 3 times, but nobody has had the courtesy to return the call. I checked with the Receptionist to make sure the people were in the office that day before having to leave a voicemail. Very unprofessional. Two, once I started the vehicle after delivery, the Traffic on the Navigation screen would not activate. I called the dealership asking for help. They pleaded ignorance on the topic, but said they would look into this feature and come back to me in a week or so. No call back. I ended up having to spend a bit over 3 weeks back and forth with Porsche Connect to try and get the Traffic feature working (traffic being extremely important when you have thousands of snowbirds in Florida). Porsche Connect ended up having to contact the team in Germany for help. Yes, after 3 months, this feature is now working. The lack of follow up- lack of return calls- lack of paperwork that I am still trying to track down - these things overshadow the initial positives. People might argue that the virus impacted these issues. Quite honestly, all requests were made well before mid February, well before any lock down was implemented. Brumos never had these issues. Fields does... I would pass on a Fields dealership going forward and look elsewhere. They may have gotten too big to care once the sale is done. read more

I have owned three Porsches over 25 years; two were private sales and the newest bought at Brumos. They worked on one of my older vehicles and I liked their service. I bought my Panamera in '11 and now have more than 50K miles. They have done routine maintenance and some warranty work. They always bend over backwards to accommodate special requests, (I like to pick through their loaner fleet for Porsche #4), and have coordinated towing from as far as Gainesville. Very much what you'd expect from the brand. read more

My only and single compliant that pertains more to dealers in general is the excessive charge for labor which ultimately will drive clients away from them. It's just absurd that a bill reflects $390 in parts and over $400 in labor. Really? For more than I love you guys.... sorry this is not the time for that game. read more

Terrible service all around starting with the GM, Brandon Starks was extremely rude to me for no reason at all. this is a true review, NOT FAKE. After we agreed on a price , on a vehicle, their finance person, Nikke Shrewsbery ran my credit but what she failed to tell me is that for out of state transactions, the banks they use for finance charges a 1% more. She proceeds to tell me after she ran my credit. When I confronted her and said that you should have advised me that I may be subject to a higher interest since i was out of town. She did not let me know till she ran my credit and at that point, it was too late which cost me a few points of my great credit. I proceeded to let this Brandon Starks know what happened w/ Nikki and he didn't want to talk to me at all and was very rude to me on the phone. Terrible level of service. He also refused to sell me the car because my wife and I needed a few days to further think about it. It's a $60,000 car, not a shirt i'm buying. He then sent me an email advising me that "we will not sell you this car". I have never experienced this terrible level of service any where at all. If I can give no stars, i would. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL, BASED ON WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. My first time over at Brumos Porsche was to pick up a set of lug nuts for my Boxster. It was a last minute task and I notified a sales associate over at their Porsche location and explained how I was driving from across town and due to traffic my projected ETA was six minutes after their closing time. The associate was very understanding and helpful. He set the parts to the side and said they will remain upon until my arrival given they know the safety factor that comes into play with driving a Porsche and having all the appropriate parts. Given the fact it is extremely hard to find a licensed retailer who carries Porsche part's I was very pleased to run into the Brumos family. Yes, I chose to use the term family given the fact this is how they'll treat you when receiving their services. After my first pleasurable experience I had to return to do my yearly maintenance on my vehicle after having an unexpected experience where the check engine light came on in my vehicle. I took my Boxster into Brumos to have a diagnostic check performed. The technician found out what triggered the check engine light and graciously invited me into the back of their shop so he could thoroughly explain the situation at hand. Most mechanics will state the repair that is needed but will neglect to go into detail with what the repair entails. The technician ran through all the particulars , prepared a detailed parts & labor list then took me over to their showroom floor while everything was being processed. After everything was done they took my vehicle around back to be detailed free of charge which is a customer appreciation incentive provided by Brumos. Given the parts I needed where located over seas the sales associate set up a specific shipping schedule so that all necessary parts would arrive at the same time so I could report back for service during one visit to avoid having to make multiple trips. One thing I also appreciate here was their appreciation for active duty military members. I wasn't expecting any type of recognition and they made it their point to voice their appreciation and also introduce their employees who also were prior military or had children that are currently in the military. Dropping off my vehicle was the easy part. Retrieving it presented a complication. My sales associate totally understood my dilemma and sent over one of their friendly associates on a thirty minute journey across town during rush hour traffic to pick me up on base. Simple things such as a courtesy ride really means a lot to me as a customer. Their primary focus being to make my experience with their company pleasurable, in which they achieved. My experience here assured me that I could drop my vehicle off at any time and not have to worry about scheduling pick up transportation on my end and still receive great service backed by a warranty. For every other Porsche, Mercedes or Lexus owner out there in the Jacksonville area I would highly recommend the Brumos franchise. read more
