I have been absolutely loving my 2024 XF, but wanted something checked out. It was a potential safety issue so they got me right in for my first service appointment since purchasing my vehicle in March. Jatin was my amazing service advisor and could not have been more professional! He very clearly outlined the approach they would take and kept me updated via text every step of the way, ensuring he had my approval before proceeding to the next step. They spent nearly 3 full days running diagnostics, conducting thorough inspections, and taking it on several test drives. When they were satisfied everything checked out, I picked up my spotless vehicle and was amazed when he told me there was no charge. I was stunned! This is the second time that I've bought my Jaguar to this location. I received THE most wonderful and welcoming treatment on both occasions from Mary & Lauren. They really set the standard for best in class hospitality! I wish that I could deal with only either one of them on every visit. The lobby was super comfy and relaxing. I chose the dimly lit lobby over the Sun filled lobby. Complimentary breakfast & the unlimited variety of beverages were greatly appreciated. The coffee was OK. (I'm a bougie coffeeI nut) 'll give them a pass on it since it was free. Lol! It could've been a little stronger but it tasted just fine. I would like to add that it was frustrating trying to speak to someone. I had follow up questions after I had booked my service appointment. Horrible experience with their service department. I have a 2020 f-pace with 23k miles on it. Check engine light went on and brought the car in for service. After charging me $285 to hook the car up the diagnostic device, they stated I needed 2 oxygen sensors at a cost of $1,400. Stated the parts alone were over $700. Jaguar uses Bosch for their oxygen sensors, the Bosch name is right on the actual sensors. I could buy the pair, including delivery and tax for $190 (parts geek). I went to my local mechanic who performed another diagnostic test. This test came up empty. My oxygen sensors were fine. Also, he didn't charge me to hook up his diagnostic device. So, they were just trying to upcharge me for a service that wasn't necessary, and if it was, my mechanic stated the charge including the parts would be less than $400, including labor. So, they were $1000 over what that service should cost. Ri-off's. read more

Service department is horrible. They know they are the only Jaguar service department nearby so they have no incentive to try to earn your business. I was actually relieved to sell my Jaguar for this reason. Need an oil change? They'll schedule you in 2 months. Need them to call you back? Good luck, keep calling them and maybe you will hear back. Leased a car with them. For the entire 38 months of my lease the service department was consistently booked 2 months out; 3 months if you wanted a loaner! Once they finally have your car they take 2 weeks to do a basic oil change. God forbid you have something more going on with your car. They kept mine for 19 days at one point just to tell me they couldn't replicate the problem. Then when I came to pick up my car after they called and said it was ready I had to wait for an hour because they couldn't find my keys. The worst thing though was that my AC on my brand new car went out not once but twice during my lease. The first time it happened was in the middle of summer and I had to wait a month and a half for an appointment. The second time it went out was the beginning of March 2023 and they couldn't get me an appointment until May 18th (mid June if I wanted a loaner) which was after my lease end so I got to spend the last two months of my lease with zero AC in the Florida heat for the 2nd time. They will try to tell you things have gotten better but they absolutely have not. I would strongly advise against ever purchasing or leasing from a Fields dealership because I truly cannot stress enough how horrible it was. That said, Jaguar in Ocala was great and so helpful when I reached out to them at the end of April to see if they could possibly service my car. If you want a Jaguar or Land Rover it's worth the drive to Ocala just stay away from Fields. read more

The staff says it's unusual, but our experience is that the service is below the level that you'd get at any Ford or Chevy dealership (unless it was also owned by Fields!). Called for routine service on my 2015 Jaguar. Angela in the service department was awesome. From the time she answered the phone smiling (I could feel it) until we got my appointment booked she was efficient and treated me like a valued customer. It is such a pleasure to have someone who goes out of their way to do their job. She has to transfer me once but gave me her extension in case I was disconnected. (Which I was not. ) When I was transferred back to her she was very accommodating and answered all my questions. Service like this makes me want to purchase all my cars here. I called before going but was told I had to come in to see if part was ready. Never had anyone confirm my appointment. Jacksonville needs another Land Rover dealer this is the worst I have been to. Even 18 months after the sale he always comes to check on things when he sees me at the dealership. Even if it is just for a car wash, he insists every visit is nothing short of perfect. I should have written this a year ago. September 7th, 2018 marks the second time the service department at Jacksonville Jaguar/Land Rover has tried to charge me an exorbitant amount of money for a simple repair. The first time was last year, shortly after I had purchased the car from a small, used car dealership in Tallahassee, FL. During my research on the car with Jaguar U.S.A, I found that there were two outstanding recalls on the vehicle, a ECU flash and a passenger airbag recall. I also noticed some suspension noise coming from the front left wheel about a month after buying. I have heard this noise before, which is caused by a failed strut mount, as I had a similar condition with a car I had owned previously (albeit a way 'cheaper' car with about 100,000 more miles on the odometer before the part failed). I took the car in for the recall work and asked them to look at the suspension. The service writer was very cordial, and gave me a rental as a courtesy. When I came to get the car, I was told that the recall work was complete, and they confirmed that there were some suspension issues, but nothing that made the car undriveable, and some of it would be covered under the car's remaining CPO warranty. When I asked what I was looking at cost-wise at the non-covered repairs, I got a verbal quote for $3650 (it is important to note that the printed 'quote' was very non-specific). When I inquired about what I considered an unusually high cost, I was answered with "the shocks alone are $2700," but what really shocked and awed me was what she said next. I was told, in order to take care of the suspension issues that would be covered under the CPO warranty, I needed to take care of this first. Just to make sure I heard what I thought I heard, I replied, "so what you're telling me is that I have to pay you $3650 to take care of the stuff that is not covered before you'll look at and fix what is covered" to which she replied, "yes." Needless to say, I was not about to do business with anyone so blatantly dishonest. There are two fundamental problems here. First, was the requirement that I pay for the uncovered work BEFORE they would touch the covered work, and second was the inflated parts cost, which, in my estimation, was either due to the service writer not knowing her product, or her gamble that I didn't know. Since the shocks were called out specifically as a big reason for the high quoted price - the electronically adjustable dampening shock dampers for the 2011 XF retail for $550 each from Jaguar (so that is $2200 retail to replace ALL FOUR, not $2700, and I didn't need all four, only the front two...so the quote should have been only $1100 for the shocks). Next, my XF isn't equipped with electronic shocks, just boring gas shocks, which retail for $145 each from Jaguar, and again, since only the front pair would have to be replaced, the quoted price for those parts should have been $290, not $1100, and certainly not $2700. I was over quoted $2410 for just that one part (again there was no parts breakdown quoted)! I was not about to get suckered for that obviously over inflated quote, and was extremely disappointed at the quid pro quo to get the covered repairs done, so I took the car home and fixed the strut mount myself for less than $200. $3650, indeed. Here is the next BIG problem in dealing with Jacksonville Jaguar. According to Jaguar USA's recall search, the airbag recall that I was told was completed apparently was never completed. Based on my experience, I am not sure if I can give them the benefit of the doubt on not marking all the recall work complete. Fast forward to 10 days ago, I decided to try again and bring my car back to Jacksonville Jaguar for the car's 45,000 mile service. I did the research in my service manual for what the 45,000 mile service entailed and it's pretty basic. Armed with that information PROVIDED BY THE MANUFACTURER, I made the call, and they didn't disappoint with the built-in up-sells. They wanted to charge me almost $598 for an oil change and some simple mechanical checks, the most complicated of which is taking the wheels off and looking at the brake pads for wear. I asked what was all included in the service, and the first thing out of the service writer's mouth was something about a 'two part engine cleaning' and some other non-manufacturer recommended up-sells. I implore you to read the owner's manual and Passport to Service, and if you've kept your car past the complimentary service period (no issue if your Jaguar is 2016 or newer), I recommend you find a more reputable service department or mechanic that doesn't automatically try to overcharge you so they can earn higher commissions at your expense, and take your Jaguar there. read more

I wish that I could give zero stars. I purchased my Jaguar XE in 2019. Since then, my experiences with Jacksonville Land Rover has been TERRIBLE! When i scheduled my first oil change, it was a month in advance and I explained to the rep that I would be traveling from Tallahassee due to JAX being the closest dealer, so I would go over my "oil change mileage" a little. When I got there, the rep redeemed two of my free oil changes because I went over my mileage for the warranty. She didn't consider the long commute and had no compassion for what I tried to explain to her. On another occasion, I had questions about my SD card, which they took it to scan but somehow lost, and it costs a fortune to replace. The situation was not rectified and everyone treated me like I was a crazy woman and i have no SD card.. No one remembered or knew who had taken the SD Card. I have booked oil changes with loaners and every single time i was told that a loaner was not available when i arrived. I live in Tallahassee and i dread going to this dealership when the time comes! With my most recent experience, I received an oil change, paid $390 drove my vehicle back to Tallahassee with NO COOLANT unknowingly (and the manager insisted that it wasn't possible) and that I was a liar. I am a sworn law enforcement officer and have no reason to lie on anybody about something to trivial. instead of him rectifying the situation he took no accountability for his staff which really changed my perception of this company. My engine could have given out because of their negligence and inability to pay attention to fine detail, and purchasing a new engine is equivalent to purchasing a new car.. AND NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE EXCEPT THE RECEPTIONIST. Just today, I contacted them about extending my warranty, Ms. Nita answered then transferred me to Randi. Randi NEVER answered so I called the dealership AGAIN and MS. Nita advised me that Randi was not near her phone and would call me back. No one ever calls back! If you are thinking about purchasing a vehicle or receiving services from JAX Jag DON'T. They don't care about the customer unless you look a certain way and it's sad! It's 2022. I will be trading my vehicle in soon so that i can be done with Jaguar land Rover as a whole. My experiences at JAX has ruined it for everybody. read more

Worst service ever!!!!...My car has been there for almost 3 months and Ive had it for only 5 months total..Initially it stopped due to battery failure...Had it towed in July 25th the Service Manager Robert Schuging said that my car has a V6 bumper and that voided the warranty..They never touched it for 1 month..I towed it home then to Pep Boys for diagnostic then back to Fields Jaguar after the company I bought it from decided to pay for everything (a $400 diagnostic check)..After 2 months of back and forth with Matthew Broslovsky at Jaguar corporate we found out that it was not the case and my warranty is valid..Fields says its my battery and a hose (pretty sure its the recall hose that is only recalled on diesel engine cars..which mine is not) thats all..This should be paid under the warranty but they are insisting that the company I purchased it from still pay as opposed to what Jaguar corporate said that it will in fact cover..Go figure...On the 22nd it was to be done on the 25th...On the 25th it would be ready on the 27th...On the 27th it would be ready on the 29th..I was given a rental on Friday the 29th beause it was to be ready on the 2nd of October...Now guess what today its still not ready..Cindy Coleman the "service advisor" never calls me..No one gives updates...Nothing..Just excuses like "the guy who was working on your car was not in today"...Its been problem after problem..I just want my car back...I left a message with Mic Romero Location Manager and am going to email him and Garry Redig VP of Operations at mromero@fieldsauto.com & gredig@fieldsauto.com...Hopefully this will gain some attention, If not PLAN B!!!!! My Response to theirs 10/4/17: The vehicle that I purchased was in fact in a collision but was rebuilt by a certified aluminum specialist (as per Jaguars Corrosion warranty guidelines) by a Jaguar dealership in Orlando. The bumper you keep speaking of since July 26th is the exact bumper that comes on a 2017 Jaguar XE 25T. The original courtesy vehicle was given for 2 weeks while my car was not touched. The 2nd courtesy vehicle which was a rental and was given on September 29th. I have spoken to several Associates with Jaguar Corporate (Charmaine & Matthew) and after having to PROVE that the bumper on my car is the original bumper and that alone would not void all of the standard warranties that Jaguar offers on their 2017 vehicles as per the Passport to Service manuals. I was even offered $300 in Jaguar bucks or whatever they are called by Corporate for my inconvenience and for the treatment im having to deal with by Fields Jaguar..Go figure...We can play the blame game all day but am I being treated like this because my purchase was not from this location or is there an underlying reason? Either way, YOU started the V6 bumper ordeal singlehandedly and YOU Robert being the "Service Director" can make this ordeal into a story that we both can look back and laugh at. I'm in California and they had a relatively rare 2004 XKR for sale, William, the sales rep was cordial over the phone and the handled the shipping and the car arrived dirty but undamaged by the ride. However there were several problems with the car that should have been disclosed, it had been completely repainted suggesting some problem that CarFax didn't show, not a bad job but they painted over a little rust, hadn't prepped the body that well, and the clear coat was lifting in one small spot. I would have still bought the car but they should have been upfront with this, the bigger problem was there was an engine gas leak that should have been flagged by the dealer safety check as it, had I not had the car fully gone through, would have resulted in a possibly deadly car fire. The issue was serious as well and cost $2,600 to fix (the injector rail had failed and had to be replaced a $1,600 part with about $1,000 in labor because you have to take off the supercharger). Because they clearly made a decision that could have put my life at risk I'm recommending against this dealer. I thought long and hard about writing a bad review because Tata is currently deciding which Jaguar dealers to retain but a life threatening mistake just isn't something you can give a pass to. read more
