Went in for an oil change…read more I thought the service entrance was off of Henry Clay, but no. Enter from Port Washington. Super friendly service. Smaller staffed at the counter, but that makes it more friendly I think. You can wait while they service or get a ride. The driver was also very friendly. The waiting area was open and spacious, but all sofa seats with TV on the wall. Wish there were a few tables so I could sit with an iPad and work. Drinks were pretty bare minimum - just hot/cold water, tea bags, and coffee. Also a sign with "1 snack per person" above a plate with 2 protein-type bars. Their prices for oil changes were exactly the same as a coupon I received for a "special", so the coupon doesn't seem to do anything. You can also ask for a car wash after service and they will run it through one for you.

I came here for service a little while back for an engine ticking noise in my Elantra. Long story…read moreshort they couldn't do anything about it unless I wanted to replace the whole engine, for which I am pretty sure there's a warranty for. So I noticed later on that my engine cover was missing, and that was the last place I had gotten service. I called the service center and told him they still have my engine cover and he said he'd look and give me a call back, to which he never did and I'm still missing an engine cover. So not only did I lose hundreds of dollars for them to tell me they can't do anything, but I also got my engine cover taken.

I know a lot of people don't trust dealerships but my experiences with the Ford dealerships have…read morealways been good. I typically go to Lake Ford but I found myself with the low tire pressure light on last Tuesday when it was negative degree weather. I checked the tire pressure and sure enough it was low in the left rear tire. I keep an air compressor in my car but it wasn't working due to be stored in the cold weather. I was fairly certain gas station air hoses would be frozen so I looked for a ford dealership thinking the service department might still be open. I saw the Heiser Ford service center and pulled up. An employee came out and informed me that they closed at 6 and it was almost 7. I apologized and explained my situation. The guy, I believe his name was Alex, said he could help. He checked my tires, filled them and refused the cash tip I offered him. I am so grateful for his assistance and have been keeping an eye on the tire.

Based on other reviews it seems something has changed recently - and if you're just doing generic,…read morebasic fixing, they may be okay. Anything more than that and they're inept. Charged over $190 for a hybrid battery diagnostic. 1. They don't call with status updates. When you call them you get mixed answers ("it's ready", "it's not ready", "don't know, let me check", etc.) 2. They do repairs without getting your approval first (like every other dealer does). 3. They lie. They claimed they fixed the battery charging issue, but the issue remains. As far as I can tell they didn't really fix anything related to why I brought it in. So over $300 later (repairs and maintenance stuff), the core issue is still there, unresolved.

The next day, I told them I also needed an oil change and fluids topped off. Their worker, Jermayne Smith, insisted I still needed the inspection because an oil change and topping fluids "wouldn't fix my gauge problem." They later claimed I "needed a water pump" -- with an estimate of $2,000. My car is a 2019, so I decided to get a second opinion. I told them to just do the oil change and top off fluids ($90 service) and I'd go elsewhere. When I left, my car wasn't overheating. I happened to pass another shop, explained the gauge issue, and right in front of me the mechanic checked and found NO antifreeze in my car at all -- even though I paid for fluids to be topped off. Later, at a third shop, the mechanic (again, in front of me) found that a car part had been intentionally broken, which was causing my car to continuously run hot. This points directly back to Car Lot #1 (this company), since that's the only place I had been. That is fraudulent, illegal, and shameful. They tried to pressure me into a $2,000 repair I didn't need, and when I declined, they sabotaged my car. They are not to be trusted.

I came in to buy a diesel pickup and left after two days of wasted time. Sales couldn't answer…read morebasic questions about a three-year-old truck, which didn't inspire confidence. Their trade-in offer was shockingly low--$2,500 versus $10,000 offered by the Toyota store next door. No basic hospitality (no water or coffee), and the salesperson didn't make any real effort to help me find the right vehicle. Finance was the worst part: we sat for hours with no updates, were told to "come back tomorrow at 9am," and then no one called in the morning--or at all. I had to chase them repeatedly because I needed a vehicle for my driver, and the delays were costing me money. After two days, I still had no clear answer. For me, "Umansky" now equals "waste of time." I won't be back, and if you value your time, look elsewhere.
