I'm afraid, after years of taking my VW here for service and repairs, I am done. In one visit for…read morean oil change and brake inspection: - Tire lugs were tightened to approx. double the recommended torque, making it impossible to, for example, change a flat on the road. I broke a torque wrench rated at twice the torque the lugs were supposed to be tightened. This is the 2nd time they've done this to my car, and I told them about it the 1st time, too. - They recommended replacing 2 rear brake caliper because the handbrake was sticking. $1300 estimate. When asked if the caliper cylinders could be lubed, they had no other recommendations and insisted this was what it needed. Turns out that one of the caliper cylinders needed lubricating. Took me and my wife 15 minutes to fix it with a tiny squirt of WD-40. Works like new! Might fail again, but it's not a critical component, and we'll deal with it again then. - Recommended replacing the aging serpentine belt. I reminded them they'd replaced it 18 months ago. Whoops. An apology and "it has a couple little cracks in it, but that's normal and it should last a long time." I took a look: not a crack to be found. - They forgot to put the wheel lug caps (VWs come with black plastic caps) back on after removing the wheels for the brake inspection. When I called them about it, they'd lost some. They did order a 5-pack to replace the lost ones, so that was fixed. The real value I find in a car shop is knowing that they will recommend both the big fix, and the temporary one -- for when it's just not in our budget! And that I'm never being scammed.

Went to Midas to inspect sound from underneath my car. The service in terms of that was fair; the…read moreissue was quickly resolved. However, they tried to sell me services that I did not need. I personally feel as though they lied about the status of my vehicle to "get something" for their initial service. I would recommend going ONLY for the repairs/issues you think you have. Do not let them convince you for other services.

I know a lot of people don't trust dealerships but my experiences with the Ford dealerships have…read morealways been good. I typically go to Lake Ford but I found myself with the low tire pressure light on last Tuesday when it was negative degree weather. I checked the tire pressure and sure enough it was low in the left rear tire. I keep an air compressor in my car but it wasn't working due to be stored in the cold weather. I was fairly certain gas station air hoses would be frozen so I looked for a ford dealership thinking the service department might still be open. I saw the Heiser Ford service center and pulled up. An employee came out and informed me that they closed at 6 and it was almost 7. I apologized and explained my situation. The guy, I believe his name was Alex, said he could help. He checked my tires, filled them and refused the cash tip I offered him. I am so grateful for his assistance and have been keeping an eye on the tire.

Based on other reviews it seems something has changed recently - and if you're just doing generic,…read morebasic fixing, they may be okay. Anything more than that and they're inept. Charged over $190 for a hybrid battery diagnostic. 1. They don't call with status updates. When you call them you get mixed answers ("it's ready", "it's not ready", "don't know, let me check", etc.) 2. They do repairs without getting your approval first (like every other dealer does). 3. They lie. They claimed they fixed the battery charging issue, but the issue remains. As far as I can tell they didn't really fix anything related to why I brought it in. So over $300 later (repairs and maintenance stuff), the core issue is still there, unresolved.

CUSTOMER BEWARE! The dealership might get good ratings, but…read morethe service center was bad. I assumed that they would offer the level of service you Lexus dealerships did, but was wrong. Went in for a 70,000 mile service and they check boxes of items they didn't even do- for example they said my car mats were in great conditions, I brought up to the tech that my car mats were not in the car, I'd removed them for a shampoo before coming, and he brushed it off. No surprise when my windshield wiper blade flew off while I was driving- tech avoided my calls and when I did finally reach them blamed me. Called my old dealership who didn't even perform the service and they replaced the blade and filled the tires b/c the air was low (another box they checked) without any questions. Seemed like this service center hides behind the name Lexus, but doesn't truly offer a high level of service.

DONT GO TO LEXUS OF MILWAUKEE! 0 STAR! I was helping my sister get a car for her family. This is a…read moreHORRIBLE dealership with SCUMMY, PREDATORY people. Chris P(finance director) and Angelique C (sales). They try to take advantage of you even after you tell them NO many times. Fraudulently add things into the price when it's not even legal to require add ons in the deal. Purposely not showing a breakdown, but instead, writing things onto a sticky note so there is no written proof of illegal practice. We finally agreed upon $303 a month after hours of negotiation, then went into finance, and was told the best they could do was actually $456 "with no add ons" ...after telling them NO, and asking where the extra $153 comes from, they said bc of interest rate and being assured there was no add ons that was the best they could do. Chris was very quick to close the screen out after saying No, so we couldn't look too closely. No respect for him. Not true at all, straight lies. It was getting late and we walked away for the night to follow up the next day. We come back day 2 and start negotiating the deal again, we did the math after we got home and found the payments to be in the $350-360 range with interest rate. So again where does the extra $119 come from? Finally they admitted they had built in Gap insurance in that $119 a month after they lied and said nothing else was built in. After the down payment, the loan was way under the car's value so there was no need for gap insurance, and certainly no need to lie about it. when we clearly said we want ZERO add ons many times. So after saying NO to $456, they come back with $403 written on a post it note, but still included gap insurance....he said that was the best they could do and was final deal. We ask for a breakdown of the amortization schedule or monthly charges many times to be told people down ask for that, they couldn't show us bc it was all in the banks hands. Lies! We told them that we know it's illegal to require gap instance, and AGAIN, we didn't want any extras on the loan. they finally took the gap insurance completely off and get to a payment of $373 a month. Which they still had money built it. (This was after 2 full days of negotiation) After all that, she decided that she would take the deal. Watch out for these people, they aren't trying to help you or do the right thing. They are slimy people trying to make thousands and take advantage of people who don't know the game. This post is to make others aware of just how bad these people are! Good luck buying anything from these people. In conclusion: if you want to be taken advantage of go here. they will try to lie and do anything to make you believe they are working to try and help you.
