They should hire a woman or two. There's only guys standing around but I guess it's to be expected at an automotive junk yard. They seem to have a good computer system of looking up the parts you need and providing a price. I heard from my mechanic friend that this is one the largest automotive junk yards in Mobile with a wider selection of newer car parts but that means they might be a little pricier than competitors. I was looking for something for my 2004 RX 330 Lexus but they didn't have any parts to my car in stock so that was a fail. But the place is clean and easy to find. I returned to pick up something for my brother's Honda Accord. They have a return policy of one week with receipt and a 20% restocking fee if it's returned after a week. I called ahead to request it and they gave me the price plus tax. When I got here. It only took them less than 5 minutes to get the part and complete the transaction.

I waited for about 20 minutes because Erika was the only person in the store. Another employee was helping a customer with the same request outside, a battery test. And another employee left early, I heard him tell Erika he had to leave an hour early to take care of some things. Normally, I would've cut out and went to auto store but Erika was holding it down. The employee outside was not quite comfortable with the battery test so he came inside and Erika went outside to complete the check and to make sure everything went well. She asked me to walk outside with her as she wrapped up with the previous customer. Before I we outside, I asked the other employee if he was comfortable running the battery/ alternator test on my car and he said "I am not". No worries, Erika to the rescue. She performed the check, gave me the report and also gave me options to replace my battery, which had a bad cell. She answered my questions, waited on customers and greeted customers as they walked in. AutoZone at Moffett is what it is because of Queen Erika. Her stellar, customer service and work ethic are outstanding. (-1 star because the other employee didn't have a clue) Girl, I'll see you soon for that battery, it was a great price after all. The mechanic saw me an elderly woman coming in for an oil change & break pads for front passenger breaks. They charged me over $300 & then told me I needed a new caliper. Then he called Heritage & they promised to send my part to Fast Lube. All of this after they charged my card for $250. Fast Lube said they never got the part. Heritage said they delivered it. They sent me a picture of an open box sitting in front of a closed bey door. No writing on the box to prove it was from them & nothing on the wall or bay doo saying where they took it. I called Heritage & the guy refused to refund my money fo a part he says was delivered. I have since taken my car to the dealership only to be told I did not need a new caliper as there was nothing wrong with the old one. The manager at Fast Lube said he would call the owner & get this straightened out. After numerous calls & visits to both businesses I have still not gotten my money. Apparently these people care nothing about their reputation. But then, liars never do.

Either this was a bait and switch, their door photo and the Ebay description was absent reference to a Federal Express logo or any logo. Logo's once on the door, after being removed, bleed thru new paint with their outline, as the glue affects future paint coverings, unless you strip the door down to metal, re prime and apply finish coat and hardener. Had this been made known, I would have offered less on the door. Additionally the electrical switches for the window were toast. I don't as of this writing know if the lock and window actuators work...... So when I questioned the lack of disclosure, requesting a $75 credit from Heritage to Ebay, Heritage accused me of fraud.
