Stumbled across this place on our way to Starbucks, after morning Mass! We decided to try it one day and now we are regulars! I love Port 65. Service is great and the food is good. Ambiance is nice too. I've only eaten breakfast here and the food is so good! Coffee is great too!

They made it up to me and the second time it was great. Sloan is amazing and really cares about her customers. That is a huge plus.

The…read morehomemade corned beef hash is the star of the plate: big chunks of corned beef and potatoes, crispy on the outside, tender inside, and super flavorful without being greasy. You can taste that it's made from scratch, not scooped out of a can. The blueberry pancake is everything you want from a Maine diner--loaded with berries, golden on the edges, and fluffy in the middle. It's one of those pancakes you tell yourself you'll share, then somehow you don't. The fiddlehead omelet is such a fun local twist, with the fiddleheads adding a tender, slightly earthy bite that makes the whole thing feel special and seasonal. Service is friendly and efficient, even when they're slammed, and the whole place has that busy, waterfront, "locals and tourists together" vibe. Expect a wait, especially at prime breakfast hours, but the homemade corned beef hash, blueberry pancake, and fiddlehead omelet make it more than worth it.

We visited around 10 a.m. on a Sunday and had about a 35-minute wait, which wasn't surprising for a busy weekend morning. The prices are on the higher side for a diner. My veggie omelette was $21, and while it was good, the home fries were just average. We also ordered the lobster omelette for $35. Although it's pricey, it came with a generous portion of lobster, which helped justify the cost. One thing to note is that there's also a 3% kitchen fee added to the bill, so keep that in mind.

Our waitress was incredibly friendly, sweet, and attentive. The food was delicious, and with nine people ordering all different items, everyone left happy. My personal favorite was the breakfast tacos--they were fantastic. The homemade jam was also a big hit at our table. What really stood out to me, though, was their homemade maple turmeric hot sauce. It was so good that I kept putting it on everything. I honestly wish they bottled and sold it because I would have bought several bottles to take home to Arizona and give as gifts to my coworkers. Great food, wonderful service, and a fun atmosphere. We would definitely come back the next time we're in Maine.

This was difficult because of the Portland food scene being so competitive. Overall, it was just average. The homemade hot sauce has the tiniest kick, but adds good flavor. Dishes were unique but didn't come off as anything to write home about.

Our waitress couldn't have been lovelier. Service was very good even though they were busy. Food was great! Some of the best hollandaise sauce I've had. It was fairly bland, pedestrian, nothing special whatsoever. My dining partner got the pancake with Maine blueberries. It's a very cakey type of pancake. Large. I read they serve real Maine maple syrup on a site when deciding on coming here but was disappointed to see they charge an extra $2.50. Hmmmmm Service was lacking. I feel like they were short handed or servers over working too many tables. I got up to get my own Tobasco sauce since there was nobody around and my sandwich was half eaten while waiting for someone to come by. Overall, I left wanting more. Not fulfilled from the hype I had read in other reviews. Very mundane place. I would not go back. Cannot recommend this place.

When we finally came during the off season, we thought this would be the perfect opportunity since wait times were shorter. The wait on a Saturday afternoon was about 15-20 minutes. I will say - I had high hopes for Hot Suppa. Between my fiance and I, we ordered the waffle, side of corned beef hash, and the fried green tomatoes eggs benny. The corned beef hash here is excellent - that I do have to acknowledge. I was a bit underwhelmed by the fried green tomatoes though. The tomatoes were just okay, but the excessive hollandaise sauce really just made the whole dish waaay too heavy. It was also just messy. Service was slow & our waitress tended to disappear for long periods of time. Coffee & water refills both took a long time. Parking here is difficult but not impossible. Most spots are only for an hour or so.

We enjoy dining al fresco so we are always happy to be seated on the outside deck. There is indoor dining too, but lucky for us, it has been sunny every time we have dined there. The building is housed in the former customs wharf building which gives it a nautical feel...the salty, slightly fishy air and the boats bobbing along the pier really make the scenery very picturesque. There is indoor seating, too. The staff is friendly and efficient. They are always accommodating, no matter the size of our party or the nature of the request. They seem to enjoy the hustle of the lunch crowd and everyone works in synch, like a well oiled machine. The food is always very good! We have never been disappointed. We have gotten whole lobsters with the perfunctory bib as well as all sorts of soups, handhelds and entrees. And every kind of seafood under the sun! This trip we loved the Casco Bay soup (I think we get this every time we go - it's that good) as well as a club sandwich and the fish and chips. The fish and chips are definitely a good value. So many pieces of delicious, fresh cod and loads of fries as well as cold slaw are guaranteed to fill you up! We were a party of 10 (including three children) and everyone loved their lunch, as usual! The cost is about what you would expect for a restaurant on the water in a popular town. We always love to walk around the quaint, cobbled streets looking at souvenirs and in the many varied shops of every kind. It's a great way to spend a day!

Tucked away from the busy waterfront, it's well worth it for creative comfort food, generous portions and genuinely friendly service. The menu is packed: stuffed French toast, Eggs Benedict combinations, decadent waffles. The food is good, fresh and filling and the service is excellent. The flavors are rich without being overwhelming, and the ingredients taste fresh. It's the kind of place where narrowing your order down to one item is the hardest part. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and they give you crayons to color. The walls are absolutely full of cool artwork -- by kids and adults alike. We all did some drawing while waiting for the order and it was so very relaxing and enjoyable. Even when the restaurant is busy, the staff keeps things moving while remaining warm and attentive. Another standout is how accommodating they are for dietary restrictions. They have extensive vegetables and gluten-free offerings. And know it can get very busy. Arriving early or making a reservation, when possible, is a smart move.
