I have been to this brewery twice, and both visits were terrible. The first time, I was accused of not paying even though my bank statement clearly showed that my card transaction had gone through. Instead of apologizing or taking the time to verify the payment properly, I was treated like I was trying to avoid paying. I decided to give this place a second chance, and unbelievably, the exact same thing happened again. This time, my partner showed the bank transaction proving the payment had been processed, yet he and his brother were still treated with suspicion and singled out. After experiencing this twice, it's hard not to feel like we were being unfairly targeted. The way we were treated was disrespectful, humiliating, and completely unacceptable. It left us feeling profiled rather than treated like valued customers. We will never be coming back, and I cannot recommend this brewery to anyone expecting respectful or professional service. If you have specific details about what was said or done that made you believe the treatment was racially motivated, including those facts in your review can make it more persuasive and credible. Been here several times, so it was overdue for a review. This Brewery has an event almost every day which keeps it busy. They have Salsa day, Game day, Poker night, and a couple of other event nights keeps them busy, always enough room for a couple more to join in, so come find a night you'll like and join in. The beers, they didn't have many beers to choose from, one thing about a brewery like PTB is that they are limited to the beers they make, and only four beers to choose from on this night. They were selling small sandwiches from a local vendor for $10.00 dollars, a little high for a small sandwich which was just ok. Bring your own food it would be better. What I did not see was a television, which would be nice if you want to watch a Game or the Olympics that are coming soon. . Street parking only, so you will have to walk st least a block. Worth coming again. Check to see what they are having each day. This review could have easily been 3 stars, but I am optimistic that things will get better here. read more

The space great. There are games, they don't mind kids being there and the kids can run a bit where the corn hole area is. Bathrooms are clean. Service is nice. They have complimentary juices for the kids which is a plus. Beers are ok. Not horrible but nothing that is going to scream for me to come here for their beers. Not a big selection. They had a good truck outside and everyone seemed to be enjoying their time. read more

My colleagues and I visited Friday night to celebrate a retirement. I loved how expansive the brewery was with plenty of seating as well as clean bathrooms tucked away from eating & gathering areas. Our beertender, Cleveland, was friendly and helpful without larger group. We noticed there was also a singles night event happening simultaneously and neither party seemed to encroach on the other (again, ample space). I ordered the Seventh Heaven (Hefeweizen) and 7th & Centre (Hazy IPA) - each delivered good flavor profiles, but I'm always partial to a good hazy with citrus. Got there right at 10:00 PM and they still sold us alcohol, but immediately rushed us to finish within 10 minutes because they were closing. If you're shutting down, don't sell the beer in the first place. What made it worse: kids were still there running around while we were being hurried to leave after being served beer. The whole situation felt unprofessional and poorly managed. We couldn't even finish our drinks, paid full price, and left frustrated. read more

I tried The Garrison, Oktoberfest, and Night Side, a nice assortment of flavor profiles to choose from, not just IPAs (although they had a couple of those). Quiet brewery in downtown San Pedro. Walked over to Port Town after lunch - wanted to grab a couple beers. There is a lot of space for the part of town, could probably host events there. Had a handful of folks there watching March Madness during the visit. Unfortunately there ran out of quite a few beers when I was there. Only 5 on tap, so couldn't do a full flight. Ended up trying the imperial stout, Belgian tripel, hef, kölsch, and an Oktoberfest type beer. The kölsch and hef were probably my favs - but I think that's down to preference more than anything else. The imperial stout and tripel were a little too boozy for me - but could see some people enjoying it as they typically stronger beers. There also was a food truck outside if you wanted something to eat. If I'm around town and wanted a pint, could see myself getting a kölsch, but probably would give the place another try once they have their full compliment of beers. read more

The food trucks have also been solid and so far my favorite is Blaskie's with their cevapcici. The beers are pretty good and they've got a variety of different types. Really cool spot in downtown Pedro. Only tried two of the ten or so beers on tap, but the Belgian Tripel and the Oktoberfest were insanely good. Will absolutely be back to try a flight of the others. I live locally and this place always has different food stands or trucks right by the entrance which is cool. We were there early on a Tuesday around 4:30pm and the stand outside was setting up some fajita veggies on a flat top before we left. The combo of cold beer and the smell of fresh food on the grill was great. My only small critique was that it was a little warm inside, but sitting near the door there was a nice cool breeze running through. They also had a pretty big stack of board games, cornhole, and other stuff. I joked with my buddies we should start a game of RISK while we were there, but we'd have probably never left. read more

The place is huge, spacious, immaculately clean, and last night they had a poker tournament you can play for free! JB was bartending last night and it's always great to see and talk to him. He could be the next mayor of San Pedro. They also have fresh wood stove made pizza's that are out of this world. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. No, it's not a restaurant but it is a huge hall where you can host a large event, such as a wedding reception or celebration dinner. This building used to house the city impound lot...now it's playing host to your celebrations. Staff is very helpful and considerate and the facility, while not fancy, is unique in a mid-century industrial modern sort of way. Surprisingly, acoustics are rather good, ensuring that conversation is possible even in such a huge venue. Parking can be a problem, given that there appears to be no specific lot associated with this business, but there is nearby street metered parking. read more
