Celebrated a friend's birthday at Bo-beau and our experience there did not disappoint! We had a reservation and we were seated right away. We ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees and they all tasted good! Portions were huge! We took leftovers. Out of all the foods ordered, the wagyu sliders were meh. For desserts, we got their basque cheesecake and bread pudding. Both were really really good!! Service was great, we were really taken care of. And the ambiance of the place is nice as well! The rooftop bar is nice!

We had reservations for inside on a Saturday at 8pm. We were seated promptly at a cute booth near the wall. Our server greeted us quickly and was super friendly. We all really enjoyed our meals! The prices are high but the servings are large. The price for the drinks is a bit ridiculous, $18 for a mixed drink. My daughter said the kids Mac n cheese was the best Mac n cheese she's ever had. You can tell things are made fresh and in house. Overall great experience!

We've been here in the past, maybe a few years ago. I can't remember how the experience was back then but we came back to celebrate our daughter's birthday. The service and food were great and we had great time! Neil was our server and he was very attentive and made the dining experience so special. We will definitely come back again.

Great service, ambiance & drinks. Food needs some serious seasoning. Service: GREAT. Daniel was very attentive and we never had to wait for anything. Ambiance: GREAT. Cute date spot, great for groups during to the long and spacious bench seating. Casual to slightly casual attire works here (jeans + heels). Covered patio was heated. Drinks: GREAT. Rhubarb Paloma was spicy, loved it. Food: everything was so... bland. Calamari frites ($20) was soggy. Bouillabaisse ($36) tasted unseasoned and like seafood in tomato sauce. French onion burger ($26) was okay. We paid a lot of money for lackluster food. Yard House is more tasty. Value: for those prices, expected better food. Parking: 2 hours free at pine/3rd lot. Short walk. Maybe we came in on a bad night? We may try it again during happy hour.

Why is always so hard trying to find someplace to eat when there's loads of restaurants literally around you. Same thing each time, never figuring out what to eat and where to go. Tell me to meet you somewhere and I'll be there. Simple as that and less stress for me. Anyways, that's how we ended up at this place. Trying to find happy hour with food in the area was somewhat a challenge. Either they were finishing up or it wasn't that interesting on the menu. Of course some places offered amazing drink deals but no food. We ended up here actually across the street still looking up for places but the rooftop patio was what caught our attention. The restaurant itself looked bare as there was no one inside. Still on the early side but noticing people going in and then heading up stairs. After a few debates on here and there, we gave up and found our way here. Checked in with the host, letting him know that we just wanted happy hour upstairs. It was about two flights of stairs which the place looked quite industrial with all the metal beams and stairs. Downstairs was beautiful but completely emptied. Everyone wanted to utilize the rooftop patio as it was beautiful out. We were greeted by someone which mentioned to us that any bar seating was available. There was a section towards the back that was pretty lively. I think it was booked for a group. Instead of the bar area, we asked to sit along the rooftop counter that looks out to the street and building across the street. Way better view and perfect way to spend the afternoon hours. Staff were all pretty sweet and very friendly. Whatever we needed they were they to help. Both the regular menu and happy hour menu were quite impressive. As we just wanted HH, it was given. They had drink special for 10.00 and small bites for 10.00 as well. Didn't hesitate and started off with some drinks. The red sangria with mixed fruits was a nice clean and refreshing treat. Tasteful without that aftertaste. And the Le Pistolet Fumant, a delectable tasty drink with mezcal with a hint of pineapple. And other well drink that was perfect for a nice afternoon. HH drink special was quite tasty to start off. Food wise, started off with an order of the Caesar salad, simple but delicious. Fresh crisp Romaine lettuce and slices of Parmesan and crouton bits. Nice crunch with each bite. The dressing, wow pretty tasty. And an order of the Mac and Cheese . Most places it's either a hit or a miss and let me say it was a HIT. Quite cheesy and full of flavors that a second order was had. A dish I do recommend for HH. We also had an order of the Brussels sprouts which was excellent. A nice glaze and crunchy with chunks of house cured pancetta. Nice big chunks I must say. Lastly the beef sliders with Wagyu beef patties. Honestly, this was the least favorite of the dishes we got. You would think it sounded great but it was quite tasteless and nothing major to report on. Served with brioche bun and shredded lettuce and tomatoes and a lemon aioli. I had high hope for it when I saw the group next to us order it but it was a little disappointing. Overall, the Mac and cheese, Caesar salad and Brussels sprouts were all hits. The sliders, disappointing. Other items on HH didn't look too ingesting for us but it was for other people. The rooftop lounge and bar area was the place to be when we were there. It picked up real fast after we got seated. Picnic style tables being occupied by large groups before HH ended. Just the rooftop alone was great and beautiful. It a place that's good for a drink and meal with friends. Downstairs was beautiful but seemed more of an intimate experience. Overall, it was a great choice for a meal during HH.

Came to celebrate a friend's birthday on a Wednesday thinking the downstairs dining was open but was told that downstairs dining is open only on Fridays. We were super bummed because we wouldn't imagine sitting roof top since it was so cold but it ended up working out because it was actually really warm and we had a corner area all to ourselves. We got the Mac and cheese, Brussels, calamari, and buffalo wings. Everything was DELICIOUS. The one that didn't impress us as much was the Mac and Cheese- we like spicy and there really was no kick to it. And it was too toooooo cheesy for our liking. But that's a preference for others so you might like it! We brought in a cake and our server was so kind and let us store it until the end and brought us candles too! Very great experience here and can't wait to be back to use the downstairs, this place is SO COOL

Wow, we had such a great experience here! Beautiful and uniquely designed restaurant.. with plenty of seating. I was hesitant because it was a slightly chilly night, but there is a lot of heating on the rooftop. Plus it's covered. We sat at the bar and had comfortable seating. Food was great!! We ordered the Brussel sprouts and they were definitely some of the best I have ever had! (& I order Brussel sprouts at almost every restaurant I go to!). I am not a fan of goat cheese, but they did pair well with the meatballs, which were tender and juicy. The passion fruit whisky sour was also divine! The real star of the show was our server, Billiam. Honestly he (sorry if I am assuming gender) was one of the best bar tender / severs I have ever experienced! Literally so beautiful inside and out. A GREAT personality, enjoyable humor, and really had the perfect balance of checking on us, and giving us space to enjoy our meal and company. Plus he gave great recommendations for the food at the restaurant, and places to go because I am new to the area. Billiam works on Wednesdays and Saturdays!!

Beautiful experience for Valentine's Day. We were seated on the rooftop and the ambience was cozy and quiet. The food was great, I wish we had asked for more chips for the hummus. It was so yummy! The service was nice, although since it was Valentine's Day, I understand they were much more busy than usual. However, we did wait a long time in between the appetizer to entree to come out. The seats are like benches so sitting idly for a prolong period of time made our bottoms hurt haha. Otherwise great experience and the food overall was yummy. The Cajun shrimp with the filet mignon was amazing! We both preferred the chocolate torte over the panna cotta (a bit underwhelming).

Came to Bo-beau and had a wonderful experience! While the ambiance downstairs in their main dining room is beautiful, their open air rooftop bar is the place to be on a beautiful night. Daniel was our waiter, and he was phenomenal. He was extremely attentive, whenever our glasses were half empty he was immediately there to refill them, and offered great suggestions of the menu. He truly knows how to give outstanding, memorable service. The food was great - I absolutely loved their French onion soup. The Brussels Sprouts are worth the hype, perfectly flavored with the crispy pancetta and balsamic glaze. Their steak frites are a generous portion with a delicious sauce to accompany the plate. We tried their rhubarb Paloma which was exactly the right blend of flavors. Will definitely be back to try more of this menu - it's huge and diverse so there's always something new to try!

We are new to the area and each week we select a new restaurant to try. We booked a reservation for Bo and it was amazing. We sat upstairs and the view was beautiful and the sun was shining! We ordered to share as it is a tapas type restaurant. We had their Calamari, Mac n Cheese, french onion soup and meatballs. Our server was super friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend a reservation as they do get very busy.

Popped in on a Sunday night and the place had a nice vibe going on with people upstairs but not too crowded. Food and service continues to be excellent. LA Dining week just happened for 2026, but I couldn't find the time for that. Their meatballs are heaven!

    Baked Brie. Did not impress.

Great vibe and 5-star service, but everything else was a disaster. Came here for the $85/person Valentine's Day prix fixe and ended up leaving before dessert. The ambiance is fantastic--upscale, hipster whiskey bar aesthetic--and our server was wonderfully attentive and tried his absolute best to make it a great night. But the overall value was terrible. We paid an extra $45 for a "flower and decoration" package that was a total ripoff--literally just six petals and some cheap decor from HomeGoods scattered on the table. They also only offered pricey "enhancements" instead of à la carte, and the $20 baked brie was just a bland, basic block of cheese with jam. The kitchen completely dropped the ball. The salad tasted like a bitter, bagged mix. Both of our mains were severely undercooked. The wagyu meatball spaghetti felt like chewing raw dough covered in canned Ragu, and the seafood risotto featured hard grains of rice with zero seafood flavor. We were so put off that we didn't stay for dessert and just left. Great place for a cocktail, but skip the food entirely.

For starters, we got the Parker House Rolls, which comes with truffle butter, local citrus honey, and grana padano cheese. These rolls were so fluffy and flavorful. We also ordered the hummus, which was so rich and creamy, and the oysters from the raw bar. For the main, we ordered the Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop, Fish & Chips, and the Wedge salad to share. And let me tell you, that everything was so good. The Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop came with a whole show, where staff would bring out the dish in a smoke-infused glass dome and open the dome when presented on the table so we can smell and see all the smoke. Not only was it beautiful to look at, but it tasted just as beautifully. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the rainbow swiss chard, cheddar grits, candied pecans, and avocado honey helped balance out all the juiciness from the meat. They use haddock fillet for the Fish & Chips, which was fried to perfection. The Wedge Salad is what actually knocked my socks off! This was one of the best wedge salads that I've ever had. It had your key ingredients: iceberg, buttermilk dressing, red onion, crumbled egg, tomato, bacon gastrique, blue cheese, dill, chives - but something about this salad was different! It was so refreshing, flavorful--just everything you want in a dish. We ended the dining experience with their Peach Cobbler Hand Pie, which came with streusel, pistachio crumble, salted caramel, and vanilla ice cream. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the area!

This was brought to the attention of our waitress, where I told her it was flavorless and asked for salt and pepper (S&P) to try and fix it. We did receive those items + hot sauce. After 3 rounds of adding S&P, my dish was "ok" enough to eat. I personally felt this could have been handled better, instead of pretty much blown off. 3 of 4 people unhappy with their meal and no sorry, no offer to replace the dish or bringing it the managers attention. 5 mins later she came back to see if the S&P made it better. No credit to the bill, offer for dessert, nada!! Just the full check brought to our table for payment. After our bill was paid, we saw the manager and called him over. After notifying him of how horrible the pot pie was, he did provide a gift card as an apology to the person in our party who got his attention since our bill was already paid. The card amount is approximately enough to cover 1 pot pie including tip and tax (with a small bit left over). I do appreciate he tried to make it right(ish), but 3 meals were horrible, not just 1. I did have a good first experience here and hope there is quality control measures put in place as food like what we ordered should have never left the kitchen. With so many wonderful higher end restaurants in town, it will be a while before I give this place another try. BTW, they do not validate, so parking on the street is ideal or be aware of the time limit for free structure parking.

Would be a great place for a date night or any celebration. We'll definitely be back!

I'm hoping this was an off night for them because man, what a let down. This was my friend and my first time here and it was all over pretty rocky. To start, zero ac inside, we asked to move outside and they very quickly accommodated us which was great. We came for the LB week 3 course after seeing the menu online. I was looking forward to the Tuna entree but they had changed the fish, that's ok changes happen but my second choice was the steak... this was unfortunate because online it just listed it as an individual entree upcharge where at the location it was actually required to share and a double upcharge. So I ordered what was never a preference and got the replacement fish. On top of that there were some misleading wording about the pastas but that's ok, wasn't even the worst part. We ordered, along with some oysters and were excited to get started. Things started great with the table apps and wine but it was about 15 minutes after we finished those we thought we should check on those oysters, glad I did because they clearly weren't going to come out. Besides a few missing condiments to go with the oysters, the food was great up to this point. But, it was now over 40 minutes since our apps and the 2nd course (pasta) was no where to be found, better ask again. Another flag down. Both pastas came out about 5 minutes later having clearly just been cooked and both were underwhelming. There was mention of Italian sausage as a listed ingredient but as a Sicilian I can tell you, please don't bother listing this ingredient, it was microscopic at best. Another suprise came when the check hit the table and we had to inform the server we hadn't even received our entrees. It made sense though because even though we ordered around 720, it was now almost 9pm and they were closing. By the time the entrees came out (3 minutes before 9) the pace had been so slow we were just so annoyed we wanted to go home. We actually had to cancel the plans we had after dinner because it was getting too late. Honestly, the worst part was that there was no way they didn't know how long service was taking and there wasn't a single person that even said, "we're so sorry about the wait". We honestly understand things happen, but to completely pretend it's normal and not acknowledge that we had to keep asking about our food.... I mean, that just makes us feel like we chose the wrong spot because we clearly weren't that important.

I started with a cup of their beef and barley soup. My wife and I both make this at home from scratch and we're both impressed by theirs. My wife took a taste of mine and instantly ordered her own. Very rich and flavorful. I kept looking at photos of their take on chicken and waffles and knew I had to try it. Seriously epic and was good as it looked. They coated the chicken in a chili rub that gave it a sweet and spicy flavor when paired with their maple syrup. Served on top of a waffle and topped with an egg. I loved it and would probably order again on my next visit. My wife had the American plate which was your classic eggs, bacon, potatoes, and sourdough toast combo. High quality ingredients elevated it beyond your typical diner food. Drinks were great too. I had their house made bloody mary which had a nice kick to it. My wife had their brunch version of a Corpse Reviver cocktail. After our meals were done we finished with an Irish coffee since everyone was ordering them. Perfect service, relaxing atmosphere, and delicious food will definitely have me returning very soon! Parking is free for 2 hours at the nearby garage on 3rd and is a very short walk. The closer garage on Broadway is not free. You can make restaurant reservations on their website but it wasn't needed when we went.
