The Resturant is small but the food is very, very good. It's easy to mess-up eggplant parmigiana, but it has been perfect every time. My husband loves the spaghetti and meatballs. If you - go early or u will have to wait. If u have to wait, it will be worth it. read more

(Lower Alabama) Pasta. It's an unexpectedly-perfect mash-up of penne, sauce, and a local smoked sausage. It tastes great with marinara or alfredo. The only thing better than the smell of the food is the actual taste of it! I had the chicken parm and it was amazing. On our way down this year I joked with my wife that all I wanted was to pass through Foley and see this place up and running again as it was before. And it was so... Same amazing Italian food at a price that doesn't seem right. Same amazing service from familiar faces. Same best kept secret, hole in the wall atmosphere that makes you feel like you found the diamond in the rough. Wear a tie or wear a Tshirt. Just make sure you come hungry. My brother suggested this restaurant on the spur of a moment after shopping at Tanger Outlet Mall in Foley. It was packed out, loud and happily noisy for a change. Three of us ordered different tastes, Alfredo Chicken, Chicken Pamrsen, and Chicken Chatagorie in 3 ounce portions. It was just right with a side garden salad. The salad is amazing. I had a small Greek salad and my husband and I split the French onion soup (a must) and we got a small pizza. Our food was fantastic and the location is great. I've eaten hear a couple of times now. The food is very good. Not much for atmosphere, but I'd rather have a nice meal. The large spaghetti with meatballs is huge. Enough for 2 really. We went to Portabella's for dinner and I was astonished at how bad we were treated. I had the Chicken Parm and it was not very good . The sauce was bland and the chicken was terrible. My wife ordered pizza and wanted olive salad as one of the toppings. When she received the pizza the olive salad was obviously just a poor attempt at olive salad . It was just a few olives thrown on the pizza. We asked the waitress for help and she was obviously overwhelmed. She did nothing. So we said something again and nobody wanted to address the problem. After about four attempts at trying to get what we ordered finally a lady emerged and told us yes that was not olive salad. Maybe you shouldn't advertise your great olive salad in your menu if you are not going to let your employees know what it is. Obviously the owner and management staff at this restaurant are sub-par. Oh the lady that emerged was the owner. She said that they would cook a new pizza . Okay and while I am eating my food in front of my wife. Our nice little dinner was ruined in my eyes and my wife was preturbed at how much effort it took to just get the order right. After all of this we were wondering what would be a correct compensation for ruining our evening. I thought at least half of our bill. When the owner came back with our pizza she said she would take 10 percent off of our meal. We were not satisfied. So I tried to ask her if she thought that was fair for ruining our meal and our evening. The owner here obviously does not care about new customers. I was always told when I worked in the restaurant business that the customer is always right. When I asked her if she thought that was fair , she snapped at us and said " WELL YOU DONT HAVE TO COME BACK IF YOU DONT WANT TO" I did not know what to say. We will never go back there and we tell all our friends not to go. read more
