Many thanks to Michael, Hristo, and the rest of the crew at RM Energy! Although RM Energy is a newer company, the whole team has years of experience. They all come from other top-rated solar installation companies, so they are knowledgeable and know what they're doing. Before they could start, I first needed a new roof installed. RM Energy worked directly with my roofer to coordinate a time when they could install the standoffs during the roofing project. Once my new roof was installed, they started the following Monday. The installation went quickly, with some rain delays. The longest delay was actually waiting for PG&E to install the Tesla backup switch. RM Energy also worked directly with PG&E and the city building department to take care of all the paperwork (applications, backup switch installation, permit, inspections, etc.). Even though I already did a bit of homework and research on solar systems, I still had a bunch of questions, and Michael was responsive and answered all my questions. I also appreciated that Michael came out in person for the initial consultation. He didn't do a Zoom meeting, ask me to take pictures of my electrical panel, or try to hard sell me on solar. The installation team was also friendly and answered all my technical questions.
