I received a knock on my door last week from Chris from South Bay Pure View. He asked if I wanted my windows/skylights cleaned as he was cleaning other neighbors windows. I am always skeptical when someone knocks on my door selling services, but he was wearing a South Bay Pure View shirt and he stood there while I looked up his company online. They had very positive reviews, and I learned that he and his two friends from school had started this company two years ago and they were trying to make a success of the business. I appreciate a strong work ethic from any young person so decided to support them and asked them to clean the exterior windows. They arrived on time and did a fabulous job. My windows and skylights look great and I have to say they were such a pleasure work with. They were the nicest, conscientious and friendliest young men. We don't know them from adam, they just knocked on our door as they were in the area. We agreed to do our external windows and skylights, we have a lot. They did an excellent job, very professional, kept me informed all the time that they were doing the work. Chris and his assistant arrived exactly when they said to clean my windows. I have a 2-story house and they were not washed in many years. They took out all the screens on the first floor and began cleaning. Despite having some problems with their equipment they were able to get the job done in the same day. Next day I was able to evaluate their work and it exceeded my expectations. It was years since they looked that clean - I should know as I am the original owner of the house. Joey, from South Bay Pure View, just finished power washing the moss from my roof, cleaning the gutters, auger the down spouts and let me know if any roof tiles are missing. All for a reasonable price. I had other contractors quote of $500, or more and South Bay Pure View beat those prices. Joey was very professional, accommodating, and friendly. Chris and his crew cleaned all my outside windows, sills, and screens and did an awesome job. It hadn't been done in the six years we've been in the house and they look fantastic. Had them clean the windows, screens, skylights, and sliding door for my mother's house before we had the interior painted, so that dirt from the older windows would not end up in the new wet paint. They did a good job overall, and were prompt, polite, and easy to work with.
