Let me start with I've never left a bad review on Yelp before. Very disappointed in the lazy, lying assistant manager at this RV park. Upon checking in I was placed in the worst spot in the park. In the corner, next to a couple of old trailers and right next to the main busy road. I looked at the map when she told me which spot it was, and I asked nicely if there were any other spots available that weren't right next to the road. She quickly said, "No", without even looking at the computer. After setting up, which is about a 20 min process I took my dog for walk. I noticed at least 25 spots that were empty. I went back to the office and asked the assistant manager AGAIN if there were any other spots, since I had noticed so many empty. This time there were two other employees in the office, which put her on the spot. Within 30 seconds, yes of course there was another spot. I went through the process of packing up and moving. I took note of all of the empty spots. Most of them were empty for my entire 3 day stay. I called after I left to explain my disappointment. She tried to lie and say that they were full. Not true. She then said she didn't understand the problem because she moved me. I explained that if she would have fulfilled my request the first time I wouldn't have wasted my day moving my RV around. She was short with me, not apologetic at all, until I told her I was going to leave a bad review on Yelp. Then her tune changed. All I was looking for was an apology, yet in return I got excuses and a bitter attitude. read more

COVID is no excuse this is by far unexceptional as a tenant you can use there public restrooms or they will blame you as a drug dealer. I travel around to many Rv parks in different states for work and this one is by far the worst. The manager will be super nice to you and will then turn and be nothing but rude and if you have kids forget it this place is not kids friendly unless your related to the management. It used to be a senior trailer park but now it's supposed to be kids friendly but don't be fooled stay someWhere else. The park is very clean (laundry, showers, common area) and there are a limited amount of activities that the park offers ... it isn't a resort, nor is it advertised as such. You can catch the 21 bus and 12 bus to get into Portland center city in about 40 minutes of an easy bus trip. The area is multi-level separating the transients from permanent. There is an airport nearby so it can get noisy from 6:30 am on. What I would improve would be the help at the front desk. Although nice they didn't know the bus routes, the nearby shopping and in general were woefully uninformed about Portland in general. These are the first people we use to help us get around an unfamiliar city. The office did have pamphlets and information about transportation but it would be nice to have informed people at the front desk. Another issue i have with this park is the cable TV. It did not come in clear so we asked about it. They told us that they were aware of this problem and chose not to do anything about it. That type of answer is not acceptable. You really don't have much choice about Portland. It's a big city and thus not many close by RV parks. This park is on public transportation and if you figure out the bus schedule it is quite convenient. read more

Our stay here was much shorter than expected. We were looking for a house to buy, found one the next day and escrow closed 15 days later. Was in town for the entire month of April and had to find a place to stay because I didn't want to pay for a hotel. Especially with everything closing I felt more comfortable staying in my camper and cooking my own meals. This place surely impressed me. The grounds are nicely kept, flowers abound, employees were all very nice and had newly remodeled laundry facilities. Lots of full timers throughout the park. The only thing I didn't like was the spotty WIFI signal. I think they need repeaters to extend the signal and they should have a password to protect it. It was hit or miss on whether or not I could watch something online. I burned up a lot of data on my phone because I'd get frustrated at the WIFI stopping so often. I stayed towards the front of the park and could hear the traffic and occasional train which passes at the rear. Nothing to be worried about. I loved my location and would not have been happy closer to the railroad track. Luckily I had a white noise machine and it blocked out most sounds when I slept. Neighbors dogs are generally happy and rarely bark since they are kept inside the RV's. I would recommend this place to everyone. Stay in the front or middle of the park. Also Walmart, Fred Meyer, and Camping World are just down the street so you don't need to venture far to get what you need! read more

I had booked a reservation here a month in advance before our trip to Portland from Las Vegas. I made the reservation middle of June and our stay was at the end of July. I received a call 30 minutes before my check in to let me know they had overbooked and unfortunately did not have space for me. The lady over the phone told me she would call me back later that day to let me know if they can move people around to make room for me. I scrambled and ended up staying at 3 parks during my visit because no one had a spot with such short notice. I never received a call and also waited the 3 days for a refund and never received that. I left multiple voicemails and made at least 30 calls to no one answering. Finally I called RVontheGo and they said normally the park has to refund the money but since the unprofessional nature of them not returning voicemails or not answering calls they would do it for me. Complete disregard for guests and zero customer service. I spoke with another park to try and make a reservation and they lady at the front desk said the call I made to her was one she has been seeing more frequent from Fairview guests. Never will I stay here or recommend anyone to. read more

We stayed there for the Labor Day weekend. This place was noisy, cars and planes. Office closes too early and you can't communicate with anyone to find out where to find the "after-hours" check in. Dirty bathrooms, no toilet seat covers, cheap toilet paper, showers were small & dark, and they looked dirty. Not friendly people in the office. The only friendly person we met, was an older lady and her husband who keep up the place I think, they were nice, but that's about it. DO NOT reserve online! It makes you reserve for 3 nights minimum! I only wanted 2, yet we found out people were reserving for only 1 night or 2! Also you have to pay a "resort" fee, but is NO resort. I had way better at other RV places that are not resorts and paid less. This is TOO expensive and NOT worth it! read more

We came out from the east coast to help our son work on his house, so it was a working "vacation." The park is super clean and the staff very kind and welcoming. It is a "parking lot" type of campground, but with enough room around each site to be reasonably comfortable. Everything worked and they have free wi fi which is nice. There is a cute little duck pond, beautiful gardens, super clean really high quality laundry, workout equipment and a nice very clean and well kept swimming pool available. The residents were really sweet people and we felt safe and secure. That was important since we were warned of the homelessness issues in Portland and the possibility of security problems. None of that happened. Also very pet friendly and clean. Plenty of close by restaurants and a wallmart. So well tended to and that makes a big difference. read more

We have nothing good to say about this RV park. We needed a spot on a crowded weekend and they had available spots, but would not allow us into the park because our RV was a year too old according to them. We have a small, well maintained rig, yet they would not make any concessions, even knowing we desperately needed to be close to this locale for a wedding. The most disturbing part was how rude the office staff was. They were condescending and flippant and showed no compassion for our predicament. Avoid this business establishment if at all possible and bring your RV to the nearby Sandy Cove RV park. read more

Wow, what a terrible experience we had with this place. I checked the website and it seemed okay, my wife called and they said they had space, and only asked how long our RV was. So we drove a ways to get there. As soon as we pull up, the woman asks what year our camper van is. Well guess what, they have a "corporate policy" not to let in vehicles a certain age - doesn't matter if it's in perfect condition, or a classic restored RV, or anything else. No. And it's not like our RV is even that old. So we asked why she didn't let us know on the phone, she said, well she didn't think we were going to come in. No apology, nothing. So we nicely tell her that we drove a long way and it would have been very helpful to know this beforehand. She just said "sorry". In a way that was very very clear she was not the least bit sorry. And then just stared at us. And by the way, the website does not say (at the time I'm writing this) anywhere that there is a year restriction at this place. I find the restriction pretty disgraceful, but the lack of informing people on their site and on the phone is even more evil. Fortunately we found a place a few miles down the road where the woman was incredibly helpful, kind and the grounds were great, and we got a beautiful spot right on the banks of the river. read more

More of a crowded trailer park than an RV Park with a hostile attitude to children, next to a very busy road and unfriendly staff, I'd not stay here again. I would avoid this place at all costs. I arrived there with my "teardrop" camper, and was turned away because, as the managers explained, "there is a city ordinance which forbids us from letting in RV's that are not equipped with a "black water" tank. As a retired attorney, this story immediately struck me as "fishy". So...I checked with the city of Fairview and...surprise...there is no such ordinance. If they had just said that they don't like "teardrops" in their Park, I might have accepted that. But it's the outright lying that upsets me. I was able to find another RV Park a short distance away from Portland Fairview. NONE of the campers at this other RV Park had a nice thing to say about Portland Fairview...the comments ranged from "snooty" to "rude". When I'm camping, as I do for three and a half months every summer, I want to stay at a friendly place that welcomes me...Portland Fairview is definitely not that place. read more

This is a very clean RV park, but when you call to make a reservation they ask the year of your RV. I wonder why they do that? They have plenty of open spaces and yet they act as though they have limited spaces. Makes you wonder if they are discriminating. The restrooms are old and not handicap friendly; especially the showers and doors to enter public areas. The road adjacent to the park is very busy even at night. Be prepared to keep your AC running to drown out the road noise. I would give this place 5 stars if they would eliminate their issues, but I can't justify 5 stars! read more

Just spent a week at this Rv park. They put me in a section of the park all by myself. It was also right near the highway (noisey). They advertise that they have a hot tub. What a joke its outdoors you have to take the cover off yourself to use it and they keep it heated to 99 degrees (really?). When I complained they stated that it was a family park and they weren't allowed to have it any hotter then that. The woman in the office actually said this with a straight face. An outdoor hot tub at 99 deg has zero theraputic value. Basically its useless. I never saw anyone use it the whole week I was there. The park is clean and well maintained but I won't go back unless there are no other options. They are also the most expensive park in the area. read more

Each morning and evening I inquired about the malfunctioning cable. I was lied to by several staff members and camp host. It became clear that the cable was not functioning when I booked and it would not be available during my stay, so I asked for a partial refund. I got a cold NO; so I called the parent company ENCORE / 1000 Trails / rvonthego.com. NO ONE answers the customer service lines and NO ONE returns calls. Since I do not like to be lied to or ignored, I am giving this park and every ENCORE property the low mark they deserve. ANSWER YOUR PHONES!!!! read more

Park charges a rifoff $4/day 'Resort Fee'. Stayed there week of March 7th. Outdoor pool is drained and, obviously, closed. No activities scheduled in park until April. Wi Fi non existent. Our pull-thru site was paved and well laid-out, however. From now on, though, we will be staying at Pheasant Ridge RV Resort in nearby Wilsonville. Their rates are lower, they do not add-on a daily resort fee and the resort has a year-round indoor heated pool and hot tub; both of which are well maintained. read more

We've stayed here about 6 weeks (over multiple trips) during the past 2 years. It's a very nice park, very convenient to the Gorge, Portland & Southern Washington. The only downsides are because of its location it can get quite cold and the train noise can wake you up especially if you are not in the front section of the park. I like it enough to list it as one of my favorites on my rv blog. read more

Positives- very clean fully paved Rv Park with nice grass and trees and swimming pool. Negatives- Most all of the nice quiet sites (except for trains) are "down below" (sites 200-300) are all monthly spaces. We stayed here 4 nights and were assigned a site right next to NE Sandy Blvd., a very busy street. I asked if a quieter spot was a available and was told no. Also, although the park is 14 miles from Portland, the freeway traffic to get there is highly congested. We would definitely not stay here again due to the street noise and inconvenient access to downtown Portland. I regret not doing further research before making reservations. read more

We have stayed in this park, and, in general, have had a good experience -- because everything went according to plan. But I just had to cancel a 2-site reservation I made there and they told me there is a $25 cancellation fee for each site (I'm at least 6 weeks out). They never told me this when I called to reserve these sites, or I would have said "no thank you". Their excuse was "It's corporate's fault". Never again. They should have warned me when I made the reservation. read more

We had a very nice RV stay for one night. The staff and guests were all pleasant. The pool happened to be "closed for maintenance."

The park is sandwiched between a very busy noisy highway and train track and directly under the Portland airport flight path. Of the 400 spaces, only about 50 are not monthly rentals. We requested a pull through but were told they were booked solid and we were assigned a back in for the week. During our stay there were several pull through empty every night. The park is clean, well maintained and the people friendly but still don't understand the refusal of the pull through unless we were being punished for using "rvonthego.com". read more

We have a 24 ft Lance camper on our truck. I made reservations to stay here we traveled from California. I checked in and they had given us a spot by the noisy road. I ask for one in the back row to back in. The clerk said they were all booked. We were pretty tired. She gave us a pull thru #31. Barely long enough for our camper, no table and no grass. Rocks with weeds. Everyone else has grass. It was 88 that day. We would have liked to sit out under our awning the awning extended into the street as our space was soo small. I thought the park would get as full as she said. Morning...Only 2 other people came in that night. Lots of empty spots. I went to the office early and they had a list of 8 spots to pull into for late registration. All pull thru spots with nice lawns. I got the bad spot for planning ahead. Very poor service here will never stay again. AND too expensive $63 for junk spot. I talked to the office. No help or sorry there. So much for customer service. read more

When one first arrives at the RV park, the well maintained lots and generally clean park really feel inviting. Once you step into the office you are treated poorly and rudely, specifically Scott and Debbie. You must fill out a background check (which is not exactly a bad thing), credit check, verify your insurance, registration and then they want to inspect your rig. Regardless if it is a 2010 or a 2016, "it must meet their standards." Once you get your assigned spot you can count that red hat guy is going to come and inspect your rig, boast how he is the manager and make sure you know the rules - IF you are lucky enough to get a copy of the rules - which are included in your lease. You might have to remind them that it is the law and they are REQUIRED to give it to you. If you have children under the age of 12, you should put them on leash if you are at this prison, er park. Red hat guy will yell at your children, then gripe at you if your children are more than 15 feet away from your rig. They took out the playground to make a house for red hat guy's house, even though he has a RV located onsite. The wifi is spotty at best. The train behind the park will keep you awake at night - or if you work nights, will keep you up all day. Did I mention the staff is rude? Unless you drive a $300,000 + rig, you can consider yourself being treated poorly, to say the least. I don't even speak to my dog the way they talk down to you. I guess they forgot, they work at an RV park to provide a service. Yes that is correct, they work at an RV park, I can't say that is much better than McDonalds, but at McDonalds they at least treat you with respect. read more

I don't know what the people who posted negative reviews expected this is condo camping we are normally camping in the mountains and woods so know what to expect in an rv park in a large city the site is a nice size with full hookups and not that noisy had no problems with sleeping and we were only 100 ft away from the road it's a good place to have a base for going and doing what you want in the city read more

At check-in I asked for a site on the outside and was told that they were all full. Upon pulling in I saw many, many open sites on the outside and only 20% full on inside sites. When I went back to the office, the other office person said sure, you can pick any site you wish??? The other lady just scowled at me. Our second morning we were scheduled to leave and my wife didn't feel well and was sleeping in. The office called me at 11:10am to say they would have to charge me for staying late. Lied and said someone might be waiting for our site. The place is still empty. Just squeezing us for more money. We will never be back. read more

If I could I would put zero stars, this place is not customer friendly, the management Sucks, they are rude, nasty, and you almost feel like they get satisfaction in making their guests upset. These are probably the rudest Front desk / customer service people I have ever dealt with. We stayed a few weeks here in September, and now noticed alll the comments about how rude they are but the owner must not take these comments serious as they are still as mean and nasty as ever. The office staff clearly need to find other jobs and as they are not happy people! Management is very unprofessional to not deal with the employees who are supposed to be helping the guests. Final thoughts....There is a place called Rolling Hills down the street that has much nicer staff, willing to assist and help you and they are not out to get you. read more

Wow, I was really shocked to read the negative reviews, we did not experience anything of the sort. The place is immaculate, clean, mowed, and well cared for. The spaces are big, cement slab and lots of grass. They do have rules and they enforce them which I'm ok with. One rule which we were politely reprimanded for was parking our car on the street, it's a no-no by fire code. I would not recommend this park to families with kids, even though it does not advertise as such it is more for seniors and people without children, the expectation is that you will be quite, so kids riding bikes and skateboards and yelling would not go over well. There is train noise a few times a day, we've stayed on the lower level near the tracks and it was load, this time we were on the upper level and it didn't bother us at all. There were some older rigs, but they were in very good condition. Also there are many people living here and they are required to keep their rigs in good shape. We will stay here the next time we're in Portland. read more

So sad!!!My uncle checked into this place and quoted a price he thought was fair. He stayed at this place back in 2005 at that time he owned a $200k coach and drove a convertible Porsche. Everything was ok! Now he lost almost everything due to hard times and owns an older motor home! Management told him it was a mistake after allowing them to stay for a short time and changing there mind to say they made a mistake in the price that was quoted! My uncle said that's fine can we stay for another day until we find another place! The manager said no called him a gook! Also called the police and had him escorted off the property! It's sad and unfortunate we as people are treated according to our skin color and what we have or don't have? So sad!!! read more

The rules at this place are unbelievable. You aren't allowed to do anything. They run this park like a police state. They are on constant patrol. They don't listen to you when having a discussion (talking to you Red Hat Guy). IMPORTANT! If you have kids...it is the MOST kid UNFRIENDLY park we've been to. Holy cow these people don't like them. This is an only "must go" place if there are no other options for you. FYI: If you want a pull through, make sure you tell them when reserving that your rig is around 28 - 30 feet or they will put you in a back-in spot. I tell you this because I know they don't read these reviews or they would try to fix their problems. Wow, we've never been treated so poorly. Good luck if you go here. Terrible management. I love this park. It is close to the airport but the noise isn't bad at all. And, the Camp Host is awesome. I have checked-in with this place 2x in the past few weeks. Both times, I wasn't even in the entry of the park seconds, being immediately (politely & professionally) greeted by the Park Host, and she is so nice, friendly, professional and efficient. I was able to get to my spot in just seconds (both times I have been here!). The place is so well kept. There are some long-term RVers and there are some shor-term RVers, and everyone takes a lot of pride keeping their areas very clean and uncluttered. This place has rules here and they are enforced (much appreciated!) - which should be because as you know, I am sure you've seen your share of long-term sites, or even short-term sites for that matter, and (some) places can be cluttered with all kind of crap. This place isn't. The lawns are well maintained - has a pond with ducks. It's quiet. It's very clean. It's very safe. And, it is so close to so many restaurants (and even right down the street from Camping World!). read more

Stayed six days on the top level of three levels. Well maintained park and visually appealing. The down-side is it is such a large park with a lot of full time residents. They create quite a bit of traffic going to and coming back from work. The diesel trucks make quite a bit of racket when they go up the three levels and being at the level closest to the street, we found them more annoying than the trains on the bottom level and the overhead planes to nearby Portland Int. My grand daughter and I were popped for riding after dark even though we had lights as we were told it was against park regulations. I can live with that for safety reasons. I saw some other kids that were scolded by park supervision for riding out of sight of their parents. I have been to dozens of parks and kids always ride the park. That's why families camp in RV Resorts as they are a safe place for kids to let loose a little. This was a little overboard. I think this rule exists as this resort has so many full-time residents. We had a problem with cable and it was so bad we couldn't even use it. I spoke to someone in the office and they said they would look into it. No one ever contacted me about it and I never tried it again while I was there. Even if we weren't around a note left would have gone a long way. Fortunately I was able to lock onto one satellite and watched those channels. Being ignored on a legitimate complaint is not acceptable and hence the three stars instead of four. read more

Stayed here for 1 night while traveling through town. It is a very nice clean park. Very big. The ability to maneuver around was good, getting into and out of the park was don with relative ease. The spaces are spacious, the amenities are good as well. The staff seemed to be a bit snippy though. I would stay here again despite the snippiness of the lady that we dealt with. Made the mistake of staying here despite the reviews. The staff are ridiculously rude and a little too high and mighty considering their position. While I was checking in, a full time resident of the park came by to get coins for the wash, as soon as she walked out, they start explaining to me all of her "issues"...I asked how it was my business for them to tell me her situation and told them to be professional...I guess that was a mistake. After the check in process, the red hat guy (later found out he's the park manager's ego maniacal husband, the maintenance guy) pulled up while I was hooking my rig up to the water and electric and starts ranting about a trash can I'd set outside. I explained I didn't realize my outside can was against the rules and he stomps off ranting that he can kick me out if I do it again. I apologized again and told him I would put it back inside as soon as the unpacking and hooking up process was done. He stood there and insisted that I do it IMMEDIATELY. So, I put the can back in, he threatens that he'll be back to check later in the day. Next, after we were unpacked and trying to enjoy our weekend, a staffer on a golf cart (the same one from the office, a woman) stops her cart and gets out and tells me my vehicle is blocking a fire lane. For reference, the roads in the entire park are all "fire lanes" and my truck bed was about 7 inches into the road. I told them my truck and rig wouldn't all fit in the spot they gave me. She tells me to move it outside the park on the road..I told her no, I would park it in the 'guest parking' by the dumpsters since I was staying only the weekend. She leaves in a pissy huff and not even 2 minutes later the red hat guy comes banging on the door. My wife opened the door and he refused to speak with her, he made me come speak with him outside. He goes off on me for not moving my truck. I told him I didn't know the area and I was happy to park the truck in the spare parking that was near the dumpsters. He tried to argue with me and finally I told him I was recording our conversation and I would send it to the BBB and his corporate office, which he responded that he would be back. He didn't come back. One of the full time residents explained that the entire park staff treat them this poorly and they know that most of the folks are retired and have nowhere in the area to go, so they'll be forced to stay regardless of the way these staffers treat them. It is really sad that a park so nice could be brought down by such a pathetic group. read more

The camp sites are small. We couldn't open the door on our truck unless we pulled in the slide. We stayed one night but paid for 3. They wouldn't refund any of our money. Wifi was on again off again. I sure won't stay there again. We ended up staying at Sandy River front campground, way better place. read more
