Ted is not only a talented artist, but also a patient and inspiring teacher. He showed me how to turn a lump of clay into a beautiful bowl, step by step, with clear instructions and helpful tips. He also encouraged me to experiment with different shapes, textures, and colors, and to express my own style and vision. He made me feel confident and proud of my work, even though I had no prior experience with pottery. The studio itself is a cozy and inviting space. There are plenty of tools and materials to choose from, and everything is clean and organized. The atmosphere is friendly and supportive, and you can chat with other students or work quietly at your own pace. Ted is always there to answer your questions, offer feedback, or just share his passion for art. He creates a stress-free environment where you can relax and have fun. I asked about instructional DVDs. He had the perfect DVD for $12. I asked him to include a hard cue case instead of a soft case and some chalk. He chuckled and did it. The DVD focused on stroke it made me a better pool player. The guys at Billiards.com are guy's guys. I would be surprised if they hadn't greased a bouncer or two to get into a club in their day.

I tried resetting it in the electrical box to no avail. After speaking to Mike in a pretty lengthy phone call, he didn't think my issue was the cook top itself, he thought it was an electrical issue. He said he could come out and check it out for a $175 house call ( we live in rural Washougal) but he was pretty sure he would only be telling me we need an electrician and we'd be out the $$. I thanked him for being forthright and we ended up consulting an electrician and Mike was right! It was a minor electrical issue. I will keep Mikes phone number handy though for future need on our aging appliances.

I wanted to look at gig bags afterward but noticed they seemed to all be in an employee only area. A staff member almost immediately noticed me and showed me their options. When I said I'd do some more shopping around and would keep theirs in mind, there was absolutely 0 pressure to try to make a sale. The customer service was fantastic and felt very genuine--no pushing to make a sale or upsell something I didn't really need. Especially as a beginner who wouldn't necessarily know better, it's so valuable to feel like the person helping you actually cares about your best interest as opposed to just making a sale.
