Lies told in the process of buying a home are so dangerous because a home is where most of us have our entire lives invested. Small lies lead to big lies and she is a liability. Call someone else I…read morehad no choice but to use First American title. After the seller signed the documentation inwas contacted by Emily, who pressed to know when I would be transfering funds. There had been some issues withthe settlement as to when it was going to happen. I had very little notice because the dat changed several times. When called to ask for assistance with the financial transfer, they were not helpful with instructions. I followed the instructions and contacted the bank. The bank was missing the information or instructions needed for the transfer. So I was given incomplete information from First American. After I did everything with my financial institution and it was in their hands. They followed up with First American to confirm information for the transfer of funds. It was in the works. A few hours later I received another call from Emily asking why the transfer hasn't arrived yet and pressed me to call my bank again. When I did, they said everything was going fine and it would be happening very soon. I don't know why she didn't contact the financial institution since they contacted First American to confirm the transfer. There is no customer care or support here. More like a loan shark.
